Chapter 251: Chapter 252: Sabertooth Beast
The Sabertooth Beast has some resemblance to the pigs on the Blue Star, but with slight differences.
The pigs on Blue Star appear docile and adorable, with plump and robust bodies, which makes them look quite tasty, while the Sabertooth Beasts on the Beastman Continent look much more ferocious.
Their long, curved tusks grow from both sides of their mouths, the tips of the tusks reflecting a cold light under the sunlight, and they have a clump of hard, coarse hair on the top of their heads, and their four hooves are wrapped in a layer of dark, thick armor.
Despite the fact that its throat had been bitten off and its eyes tightly shut, the bloodstains on its body indicated just how terrifying the battle had been!
Looking further away, there were several small Sabertooth Beasts surrounding a Sabertooth Beast that was already dead, their little noses digging and snuffling about.
A thought crossed Su Tang’s mind.
Lini explained from the side, "Those plumper prey are easy to hunt. They probably lived in the Death Forest all their life. The skinnier ones must have escaped from the Wilderness. We had quite a hard time trying to catch them, and some Beastmen got injured."
Upon hearing this, Su Tang asked anxiously, "Are the injuries severe? Liu Ye just mentioned that they found quite a few herbs today. The injured Beastmen should go see Old Nike."
Lini laughed, waving his hand carelessly, "It’s okay. Beastmen have strong self-healing abilities. They are just minor injuries, there’s no need to waste the herbs."
After hearing this, Su Tang didn’t insist anymore.
As they were often hunting, injuries were quite common among the Beastmen. They could tell which injuries were serious and which were not.
So, Su Tang’s gaze started drifting again through the nearly one hundred preys that were hunted down.
More than a dozen Beastmen were using stone knives to butcher the body of a Sabertooth Beast. The fresh red blood dyed the grassland red, and the strong scent of blood hung in the air, making Su Tang feel slightly nauseous.
Frowning slightly, she made a decision in her mind.
Next time when they come back from hunting, they definitely shouldn’t bring their prey back to the valley to be butchered. The seaside seems to be a good place, it’s not too far from the valley, so it’s ideal for cleaning the prey before transporting it back.
As she was thinking, there was suddenly a commotion from the little Sabertooth Beasts in the distance.
It turned out that one of the Beastmen wanted to catch them for butchering.
Su Tang hurriedly stepped forward to stop him, "Tu Shi, wait! Don’t kill them!"
Tu Shi turned to look at Su Tang.
The little Sabertooth Beasts were startled by Su Tang’s voice, scattered, and took the opportunity to run away without a trace.
"Lady Saint?"
Lini furrowed his brows, saying to Gaiyin, "I’ll go catch those youngsters, make sure not to hurt the cubs in the valley."
Gaiyin nodded, "Hmm, If you can’t catch them alive, kill them."
Su Tang fell silent, she grabbed Gaiyin’s robe pitifully as she realized that she might have caused trouble.
Despite the fact that these Sabertooth Beasts haven’t grown up, their size is still equivalent to an adult Husky on the Blue Star!
With so many cubs and females in the valley, they wouldn’t get hurt by the panicking Sabertooth Beasts, would they?
Gaiyin patted Su Tang’s head to comfort her and spoke to Tu Shi, "Call some people to catch those Sabertooth Beasts." n𝚘𝚟𝚙𝚞𝚋.𝚌o𝚖
"Yes, Chief!"
After everyone left, Gaiyin looked at Su Tang and said, "I know you want to keep them, but not all prey are suitable for keeping. The Sabertooth Beasts have a violent temperament and could easily harm people."
Su Tang blinked, pouted her mouth, "Then, the ones that just ran away..."
