Chapter 310: Chapter 311: Tears Fell from the Corner of the Mouth

Erha was barking at Su Tang, with a look of accusation on his face.

In order to save Erha’s pride, Su Tang reluctantly decided to tone down her actions a bit.

Just then, Little Gaiya came running, panting heavily as he climbed over a fallen tree trunk to reach Erha, looking deeply concerned.

"Erha, are you alright? Did you hurt yourself when you fell?"

Erha immediately lifted its right paw, pretending as if he was seriously injured, and wailed loudly.

Despite her disgust, Su Tang couldn’t help but look at it, clearly a drama queen.

Little Gaiya, naive as he was, looked genuinely worried, his face was pale with fright seeing Erha in that condition.

Looking at Su Tang with an anxious expression, he stammered, "Sister Su, what’s wrong with Erha? Is he hurt?"

Feigning surprise, Su Tang cast a sideways glance at Erha, "What?! Erha’s injured? Oh, that’s a shame, I was planning to take you guys to the beach after getting some work done. But now that Erha is hurt, well..."

Upon hearing this, Erha stopped wailing, and abruptly stood up, with no sign of pain.

To prove that he was perfectly fine, he even made a show of walking a few steps in front of Su Tang.

Seeing this, Little Gaiya clapped in glee, "Sister Su, look, Erha is fine now!"

Curving her lips into a smile, Su Tang said, "That’s good. By the way, have you guys been properly feeding the Gugu beasts and Long-eared beasts you caught?"

Little Gaiya: "Yes, we tied them up with Ghost Vines. Gugu beasts like eating bugs, and Long-eared beasts like grass, we feed them every day!"

Pleased, Su Tang affectionately tousled Gaiya’s hair. "Good job! Go play, you two."

Little Gaiya nodded happily.

Erha was anxiously circling Su Tang, occasionally barking.

"Woof, woof!" Host, won’t you take us to the beach to play?

Looking at Erha, Su Tang replied, "Didn’t I say that we’ll go after I’m done with work?"

Erha: "Woof!" When will you be done with your work?

Breaking into a mischievous smile, Su Tang replied, "It might be tomorrow, or the day after, or quite a few days later... "

Two vacant eyes of Erha stared back at Su Tang, the dog seemed to feel betrayed!

Immediately, he held up his left front paw, letting out a pitiful wailing noise, and collapsed on the ground.

Little Gaiya, startled, stuttered, "Si-Sister Su, what’s wrong with Erha now?" 𝓃𝓸𝓋𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝒸ℴ𝓶

Unable to hold back a smile, Su Tang kicked Erha’s butt. "Stop pretending, get up! Your act’s busted, you know! You lifted your right leg last time, remember?"

Looking wronged, Erha straightened up, howling at Su Tang, then raised his head proudly, and walked away with a swish of his tail.

Su Tang couldn’t help shaking her head at his dramatics.

Gaiyin asked, watching Erha’s retreat, "That’s your Divine Beast?"

Embarrassed, Su Tang coughed, "Well, he... is our Divine Beast. The useless kind..."

Gaiyin: "..."

...

All the rice pods collected in the valley were sown by Su Tang without using any.

Although she had concentrated Growth Liquid that could grow trees in ten years, and tricked the tribesmen into believing it was divine water from the Holy Temple, she didn’t dare to use it all at once!

A pond was specially dug beside the farmland, using water to irrigate the crops. Only a dozen or so droplets of the Growth Liquid were mixed in, yet the growth of the rice pods far exceeded Su Tang’s expectations.

In just a few days, the rice pods had grown significantly. With a couple more watering sessions, they should be ready for harvest by tomorrow.

Thinking about the delicious steamed rice, Su Tang’s tears trickled uncontrollably down her face.
