Chapter 321: Chapter 322: The Leader without Status
Gaiyin grinned at the sight of Gaiyin looking defeated, hiding behind the plump figure of the second Husky.
The Tyrant Flower cub’s eyes were red and swollen from crying, looking so pitiful that Su Tang’s heart ached for it.
She passed the task of cleaning the Earth Fruit to Gaiyin, then took the two cubs away to play.
Gaiyin: "..."
Could he tell them that the cub was actually older than all of them combined?
He neatly processed the Earth Fruit, placing them on the sieve before covering it and focusing on stoking the fire.
With the egg custard and Earth Fruit nearly cooked, he called Su Tang and the others back.
Looking after the two cubs and cleaning up after their meal, it felt like he had no prestige as a tribe leader at all!

After the Tyrant Flower cub had its fill, it fell into a deep sleep. In order to let it sleep more peacefully, Su Tang had to carry it back to the cave.
Her original plan was to have Ayuan stay here to play and look after the Tyrant Flower cub, while she and Gaiyin checked on the roof tiles and then returned with some ingredients for cooking. Luckily, there was already a stove near the entrance of the small cave, so they could cook their own meals.
But Ayuan persisted in sticking to Su Tang, so she had no choice but to bring him along, asking the System Husky to watch over the cave.
Even though the second Husky was reluctant as well, it had to comply with Su Tang’s instructions. So it laid dispiritedly at the cave entrance, sadly watching the three figures exit.
Thus, as they headed towards the Kiln Cave for pottery firing, Gaiyin gave Ayuan a look that said ’I’m very upset’.
First, they came to the Mud Embryo Cave. It was still early, but the cave was already full of females, and Beastmen occasionally came by to transfer mud embryos for tile firing.
On seeing them, the Flower Mother asked, laughing, "Why are you here? My hands are covered in mud; I won’t get up to greet you."
Su Tang waved a hand, "It’s alright, we just came to check on the progress of the mud embryos? We’re going to the kiln later."
The Flower Mother nodded, "Ah, feel free to look around, Ayuan said that the tiles will be needed soon, I need to hurry and make some more."
Seeing how everyone was bustling with activity, Su Tang decided not to disturb them any longer, and went over to the pottery firing kiln with Gaiyin and Ayuan.
Yadang had always been in charge here, so Su Tang went straight to him when she arrived.

Gaiyin agreed, "We can go further, but we must maintain the original appearance of the forest, as we plan to live here for a long time."
