Chapter 331: Chapter 332: Completely Confused

The following day.

The sunlight pierced through the clouds, stirring the slumbering Beastmen from their sleep.

They rose from their dreams, forming groups to bathe together, gradually filling the valley with vivacity. Everywhere, laughter and cheerful words resounded, and everything brimmed with vitality.

Su Tang woke up early that day, simmering porridge on the stove with a slow fire.

Gaiyin was awakened by the rich aroma of the rice. Starving, he got up and saw Erha sitting next to the stove, drooling, with Su Tang seeming to be scolding it for something.

Gaiyin rubbed his eyes and approached in a daze, "Sister-in-law, why didn’t you wake me up?"

Su Tang turned her head with a smile," You’re up? Go wash your face by the river, and you can eat when you are back."

Gaiyin nodded. After he washed his face and returned, he was much more awake.

Looking around, he asked in confusion, "Hey, where did Brother go?"

"He went to help build the house. Don’t just stand there, come and eat. After eating we will go and bring the cub back."

Gaiyin nodded blankly, "Oh."

Sitting next to a large rock used as a dining table, Su Tang ladled up the porridge.

The breakfast this morning was Mushroom Lean Meat Porridge. After rehydrating the mushrooms and dicing them, she sliced off a small piece of lean meat, sautéed them in pig oil to bring out the aroma, added a bit of salt, then water. When the water was boiling, she put in the rice and simmered on low heat.

Once the porridge was simmered until it was thick and full of the aroma of mushrooms and meat, she garnished it with a sprinkle of crispy green onions right before serving, which looked very appetizing.

Worried that the porridge alone wouldn’t be filling, Su Tang also made two fried eggs. The tender egg yolk and the delicate, tasty egg whites were visually tantalizing.

She gently placed a small porcelain spoon in the bowl, "Eat the fried eggs first, let the porridge cool a little before drinking it."

Gaiyin skillfully used chopsticks and obediently sat there eating the fried eggs.

Erha was squatting on one side, its mouth watering profusely. 𝒏𝙤𝙫𝒑𝙪𝙗.𝙘𝒐𝙢

Su Tang shook her head helplessly, put another fried egg in a plate, and put it in front of Erha.

"It’s a bit hot, be careful while eating."

Erha wagged its tail happily.

"Woof! Woof!" The host is such a kind and beautiful person. Good people will always receive good karma!

Su Tang: "...."

I don’t need good karma, just give me more Exchange Points.

Erha: "...."

Did the host just speak? It didn’t seem like it? Hmm, the fried egg is really delicious.

...

After cleaning up the bowls and chopsticks, Su Tang went to Hong Guo’s place with Gaiyin and Erha to pick up the Tyrant Flower Cub.

She ran into Hong Guo holding the cub as he was coming out of the cave. Su Tang wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but she felt that the cub seemed to have gotten a bit bigger.

After picking up the cub, Su Tang planned to take them all to the cafeteria to see the construction in progress. As she heard from Gaiyin, today they were erecting the roof.

Suddenly, the Tyrant Flower Cub wriggled in her arms, muttering indistinctly, "Xiao Xiao, hold, hold!"

Su Tang was at a loss; she didn’t understand at all what the Tyrant Flower Cub was trying to convey.

The little cub seemed agitated too. It struggled to slide down from Su Tang, and barefoot, it stumbled towards the outside of the valley.

While walking, it kept looking back at Su Tang, "Xiao Xiao, hold! Cry! Hold!"

Seeing it articulating so hard, Su Tang seemed to have understood, "You want me to go and see your companions?"

The Tyrant Flower Cub was nodding furiously, "Xiao Xiao! Hold!"
