Chapter 387: Chapter 388: Hurry and Save Someone

Qiu Mo kept staring blankly at the skewered meat dropped on the ground. Her heart ached for some inexplicable reason, and tears welled up in her eyes unconsciously.

Without saying a word, she suddenly turned around and walked away. 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝑏.𝘤𝘰𝑚

Seeing her leave, Xi wanted to chase after her, but Hai Qin stopped her, "Don’t go after her! Her current reckless behavior is all because you and Amu have spoiled her!"

Xi wanted to say something, but seeing the anger on Hai Qin’s face, she swallowed her words.

Qiu Mo swam some distance away before she could no longer control her tears.

She hated her father so much!

She did not like the tribe at all now!

For some reason, the image of the little female she saw on land surfaced in her mind. The two beastmen by her side seemed to treat her well, even accompanying her to play outside.

They had two cubs with them, delicious-looking meat, and they seemed so happy.

The more Qiu Mo thought about it, the more envious she felt, increasing her curiosity about the unknown land.

She swam back to her shell. She had planted many Sea Night Mushrooms around it because she was afraid of the dark. They emitted a soft light that, although bright, couldn’t compare with the brightness of the world above.

Qiu Mo took out a small bag made from seaweed and placed all her possessions in it.

Qiu Mo had made up her mind!

She was going to leave the tribe!

She was going to the land!

...

Yadang and Gaiyin split up to search in different directions. Yadang followed the seaside rocks, searching bit by bit.

Suddenly, he noticed a flash of blue out of the corner of his eye.

Yadang saw it clearly. It was a little female, a very pretty little female, who was hiding behind a rock and looking at him timidly.

The moment their eyes met, before he could say anything, the little female retreated.

Raising an eyebrow, Yadang thought it seemed that the little female was the one who stole the skewered meat.

He walked forward another two steps when ’plop!’ another wave splashed onto the rocks.

Yadang quickened his pace and sure enough, the little female had disappeared. Only the skewered meat and a few empty sticks were left on the protruding rock.

With a calm gaze, Yadang watched the sea surface for a while and then chuckled, "Hmm... Interesting."

Picking up the skewer and the meat, he returned to the grill.

When Su Tang saw the skewered meat in Yadang’s hand, her eyes lit up. "Eh?! My Roast Meat! Where did you find it? But why are there only two skewers?"

A smile playing on his face, Yadang picked up a corner of his mouth, "It was stolen by a little female."

Looking around and finding no one else, Su Tang asked him, her face full of surprise, "Where is the girl?"

"She jumped into the sea."

"What?!" Su Tang exclaimed in fright. "Then why are you still standing here? Quick, jump into the sea to save her!"

She didn’t even care about the roast meat in her hand. She intended to rush toward the sea.

Yadang grabbed her arm, stopping her.

Attracted by the commotion, Gaiyin hurried back, and upon seeing Su Tang’s anxious face, he asked, "What happened?"

"He said that a little female fell into the sea!"

Yadang sighed, "Did I say fell? I clearly said jumped!"

Glaring at him, Su Tang retorted, "What’s the difference? Anyway, she’s in the sea now. Go save her!"

Gaiyin didn’t seem to be in a rush. Seeing Yadang’s laid-back demeanor, a guess formed in his mind.

"A Mermaid?"

With a smile, Yadang nodded, "That little female is quite clever. She ran away swiftly when she realized I had found her."
