Chapter 400: Chapter 401: Want to Touch Mermaid

So, Su Tang looked at Gaiyin, "Ayin, you’re quick. Take these two baskets back and check why your brother hasn’t returned yet."
Gaiyin nodded, and picking up the two baskets full of seaweed from the ground, he turned towards the tribe.

Su Tang, with nothing to do, was sitting by the rocks at the beach. Shrimps, crabs, and the like might not be easy to find during the cold season, so Qiu Mo was late in emerging.
The wind today was quite strong and it was a bit chilly. So, Su Tang squatted behind a large rock that blocked the wind.
It felt quite long. Her face was beginning to stiffen from the wind, and not only Gaiyin and Yadang hadn’t returned, but Qiu Mo hadn’t resurfaced either.
Su Tang got up and kept pacing around the rocks, constantly warming her hands against her breath.
After a while, when she saw Gaiyin and Yadang appearing from the distant forest, an idea suddenly occurred to Su Tang.
With a mischievous smile, she hid behind a large rock in their path, preparing to jump out and give them a scare.
As Su Tang imagined their shocked faces, she couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
She was concentrating so hard on the approaching figures that she didn’t notice the transparent water rope that appeared behind her.
Suddenly, she felt something cold touch her lips, then a force tightly bound her. Before she could reach out, her hands, feet, and entire body were tied up by two invisible water ropes, and she was lifted and dragged away.
Through the gap between the rocks, she saw Gaiyin getting closer and closer, but he didn’t seem to notice her at all. Su Tang started to panic!
Because her mouth was gagged, all she could make were humming noises that were drowned out by the sound of the waves hitting the rocks.
Confused and anxious, Su Tang summoned the System.
Then, the silly dog who had been rolling around in the snow in the valley was suddenly teleported to Su Tang’s side.
The sudden change of surroundings had the dog dazed for a moment. Then, it saw its owner, tilted to one side, inexplicably moving slowly forward, staring at it urgently.
Thankfully, the dog was quick to react and rushed forward.
