Chapter 406: Chapter 407 Stubborn Qiu Mo
At noon, the dishes that Su Tang prepared were tailored to Qiu Mo’s taste, considering they were due to leave after lunch.
They had never seen such big shrimp and crabs before, let alone cooked them.
Therefore, Su Tang purposely consulted Baidu, and though there were many methods to cook them, considering the limited availability of ingredients here, she settled for steaming them after washing them thoroughly!
The giant crab’s claws were as long as Su Tang’s forearm. After it was steamed, it radiated a tempting red hue, wafting a slightly sweet fragrance.
Because the crab shell was quite hard, with Gaiyin’s help, Su Tang got a large chunk of crab meat and was overjoyed!
First, she took a direct bite. The meat was fresh and tender, and the flavor of the crab lingered in her mouth, providing an endless aftertaste!
Then she dipped it in the sauce she had made. The added saltiness made it so delicious that one could almost swallow their tongue!
Qiu Mo’s cheeks were always puffed up. She praised the taste non-stop, "This is so good! I have never had such delicious crab before!"
Su Tang had thoughtfully provided forks, considering they might not be able to use chopsticks.
Being here all these days, Qiu Mo had mastered the use of forks and spoons, so she was able to keep pace with everyone else when it came to eating.
Apart from the initial struggle, Xi was slow due to not being used to forks, but later on, one would not be able to tell that it was his first time using a fork!
The prawns were also steamed, and they tasted quite good too!
That said, for the half-human high fish, after Su Tang cleaned it thoroughly and removed the large bones, she grilled and fried some of it while the rest was made into a large pot of fish soup with ingredients like water spinach, mushrooms, and earth fruit. The taste was simply top-notch!
Once Qiu Mo had finished lunch, she slumped in her chair, not wanting to move at all, like a lazy fish.
Xi always thought he had good self-control, but he had not expected to overeat!
The siblings sat in their chairs for a while before they recovered.
