Chapter 416: Chapter 417: Visit from the Mermaid Clan 3

"Oh right, Tangtang, take a look at the gifts I brought for you. Do you like them?"

Qiu Mo waved his hand grandly, pointing to the mountain-like pile behind him, his face filled with excitement.

Su Tang looked closely and saw that it was seaweed, Sea Night Mushrooms, and a variety of shrimp and crabs.

Especially the seaweed and Sea Night Mushrooms, there were so many that she couldn’t help but wonder if Qiu Mo had stripped their tribe’s surroundings bare.

"You brought so much! I love it! Thanks, Momo! Huh... what is this? A fish?"

Su Tang looked perplexingly at something as big as an elephant... a fish? What was going on?

Qiu Mo laughed, "Yeah, this is a Morgan Fish Beast. Tastes great. Just that they’re pretty strong and tough to catch. These few were caught by my dad~"

Su Tang’s gaze shifted to Hai Qin, noticing the three scars at the corner of his eyes, and she thought to herself: Hmm, he’s a tough one!

Reminded of the unidentified fish Qiu Mo had previously caught for her, the fish he caught seemed unworthy of even being called small fry in comparison.

Although she didn’t understand how they managed to transport these mountains of supplies here, luckily there were numerous beastmen accompanying them. If everyone took some, then they could haul it all back.

...

Upon returning to the warm embrace of the room, Su Tang finally felt invigorated.

She stepped to the side and beckoned Hai Qin and the others inside saying, "Come in. It’s warmer inside."

Qiu Mo, arm in arm with Hanna, was the first one in. Looking at the familiar furnishings, he felt a deep sense of comfort.

Hai Qin and the other mermaid priests followed him closely.

The moment they stepped inside, a warm ambiance enveloped them. Looking at the simple yet comforting furnishings, they all felt like country bumpkins stepping into a grand estate, filled with wonder and novelty.

Su Tang initially thought her house was too large, the living room always felt empty.

However, after the six from the Mermaid Clan along with their tribesmen entered, the room actually felt cramped.

Su Tang then invited them to sit down on the sofas in the room.

Calling them sofas, they were actually just big benches upholstered with beast skin.

Because Su Tang thought the living room was too big and desolate, she deliberately made the furniture larger when creating them, so now it was just right to accommodate all, although it was a bit cramped.

After settling down the group, she instructed a beastman to take Qiu Mo to get some properly sized beast skin clothes while she headed to the kitchen and prepared some snacks, then put them on a plate to serve.

Hai Qin, as the clan chief, sat properly, evidently intrigued, but he maintained a composed presence and didn’t speak.

Su Tang placed some Sweet Earth Dried Fruit and dried meat on the low cabinet, lightly chuckled, and said, "It’s not mealtime yet. Everyone, taste the snacks I made, they’re quite good."

Hanna was the first one to reach out. She picked up a semi-transparent, orange-yellow piece of Sweet Earth Dried Fruit and asked curiously, "What is this?"

"This is a type of dried fruit, it is sweet and soft, tastes pretty good. Try some."

Hanna nodded, tentatively took a bite, and her eyes lit up, "Mmm, it tastes really good!"

Following Hanna’s example, the other members of the Mermaid Clan reached out for either the dried fruit or dried meat— only Hai Qin remained stalwartly in his chair.

Seeing the rest of his tribespeople and his chosen female enjoying the food delightedly, Hai Qin was tempted as well. He coughed lightly, a fist held before his mouth.
