Chapter 431: Chapter 432: Visit from the White Tiger Clan
Ultimately, Hai Qin was still testing Gaiyin.
However, Gaiyin’s reaction took him by surprise. After staring at Gaiyin for a few seconds, he suddenly burst out laughing.
Under the table, Su Tang gripped Gaiyin’s hand tightly.
She wondered if the Sea Tribal Chief had some sort of mental illness, as his unpredictability was quite unnerving.
After a hearty laugh, Hai Qin realized everyone at the table was staring at him.
His eyes narrowed and his eyebrows furrowed, he said sternly, "What are you looking at me for? Is there something on my face? Look at your tables and eat!"
The Beastmen from the Mermaid Clan seemed accustomed to their eccentric Tribal Chief’s antics. Without uttering a word, they lowered their heads and dug into their food.
The Beastmen from Peach Blossom Spring looked at one another, utterly bewildered.
Just then, there was another knock on the door, and a young woman strode in.
Su Tang thought she was there to refill water or serve dishes, so she didn’t pay much attention.
To her surprise, the woman bowed and said in a loud voice, "Chief, Saintess, the White Tiger Clan has arrived."

Upon hearing this news, Su Tang’s mind went blank.

How many could there be from the White Tiger Clan?
Thinking of Little Gaiya and Ye Qiao, whom she hadn’t seen in a long time, Su Tang’s heart pounded with excitement.
However, she wasn’t so overly excited to disregard everything else. She knew she was currently hosting the Mermaid Clan.
So, she stood up, suppressing her excitement, and showed Hai Qin a regretful smile. "I’m sorry, Sea Tribal Chief, I didn’t expect the White Tiger Clan to visit suddenly. I’ll go check on it with my people. Let’s leave Ayin here to accompany you. Is that okay with you?"

He asked the young woman, "Do you know who came from the White Tiger Clan?"
The young woman appeared troubled and thought for a while before finally saying, "There’s a lot of Beastmen, and they brought a lot of stuff."
Hai Qin didn’t fully understand, but since many people came, he reasoned that Wen Jue must be among them.
He then turned his gaze back to Su Tang and spoke more softly, "Wen Jue and I also have a pretty good relationship. Why don’t we invite them to join us for dinner? They must be starving after coming over at this hour."
Su Tang was taken aback and instinctively looked at Gaiyin for guidance.
Gaiyin gently nodded.
Then, Su Tang gave a slight smile. "Alright, I’ll go invite them up now. Besides, I’ll order a few new dishes. Please be patient and wait for a bit!"
Then, Su Tang and the young woman left the private room together.
After closing the door, Su Tang looked at Xiu Die with an excited expression.
"Little Die, has the White Tiger Clan really arrived? Did Little Gaiya come?"
Xiu Die nodded, her eyes teeming with laughter. "Yes, many people have come. They brought lots of stuff, even more than the Mermaid Clan brought!"
Su Tang waved her hand dismissively. Materials were not important; what mattered was that people had come!
For a moment, her steps felt much lighter. If not for Xiu Die’s reminder to put on the Beast-hide Cloak, she wouldn’t have noticed the chill.
From afar, she could see many unfamiliar faces in the open space in front of the house. Each was relaxed, glancing around, consumed by curiosity!
Soon, Su Tang found a few familiar figures among the crowd.
Suppressing her joy and fighting the sourness in her nose, she called out loudly, "Yaya..."
