Chapter 481: Chapter 482: Old Affairs 19

Nanding wasn’t lying to Hai Qin. After several turns, they finally arrived at the Cave where Aqi was being held.

The cave was deep, and it was pitch black inside. They could hardly see anything!

Hai Qin’s heart was in a knot, he let go of Nanding and rushed into the cave.

However, when he finally saw the scene inside, he screamed in despair, "Sister!!!"

At the end of the cave, there were two thick wooden posts, with a slightly thinner stick lying across them.

Aqi’s hands were tightly bound by a vine and hung from this stick; her feet were off the ground; her head was hanging low, with a notably evident black and red mark beneath her!

The countless open wounds on Aqi’s body were enough for anyone to imagine how much pain she must have endured!

Hai Qin’s heart seemed to plunge into an icy pit. His hands and feet were trembling, and he had never felt this intense fear before!

Prince Wen also followed him into the cave, he couldn’t help but shudder when he saw the scene. He quickly went over to take Aqi down from the posts.

Holding her in his arms, he checked her breath, breathed a sigh of relief, and then looked at Hai Qin, "It’s okay. She’s still alive!"

Hai Qin’s eyes flickered. He collapsed on the ground, his face was wet with tears before he even realized it.

He tried to stand up, but he had no strength. He crawled over to Aqi, stumbling and rolling. Looking at her battered body, he didn’t know where to begin.

He sobbed softly, "Sister, forgive me. I shouldn’t have left you here alone. I was wrong, sister. Hit me, please hit me, okay?"

Hai Qin was holding Aqi’s hand.

Her hands were no longer soft as before, they were now covered with a layer of dry skin, resembling the hands of the dying Old Lady devoid of any moisture, only the skin remained.

Prince Wen also had tears welling up in his eyes.

Remembering the lively, charming girl who was now barely breathing in his arms left a bitter taste in his mouth.

Seeing the bloody cracks in Aqi’s lips, he said to Aqin, "Aqin, give your sister some water!"

Hai Qin’s hands were shaking so much that the water drops couldn’t reach Aqi’s lips.

Prince Wen sighed, condensed a small golden bowl, collected all the water from Hai Qin, and then slowly fed it to Aqi.

Aqi must have been without water for a long time. Even though she was unconscious, she swallowed the water unconsciously when it reached her lips.

After drinking a bowl, her eyelashes trembled slightly.

Prince Wen handed the bowl back to Hai Qin. "Fill it up again!"

Hai Qin was desperate. He couldn’t speak, but he filled the bowl again while trembling.

Prince Wen continued feeding Aqi water while holding her.

After drinking half a bowl, Aqi stopped. Her fingers moved, and her eyelashes began to tremble.

Hai Qin no longer cared about anything else at that moment. He carefully held Aqi’s hand, holding his breath, watching her without any movement.

He softly called out, "Sister? Are you awake?"

Aqi’s eyelashes fluttered more vigorously.

Finally, she slowly opened her eyes—

Her lips moved slightly, the voice barely audible, "Is it... Aqin?"

Hai Qin nodded hastily, tears streaming down his face. He wanted to hug Aqi, but the wounds all over her body made him dare not move at all.

"It’s me! Don’t be afraid, sister, I’m here to rescue you! I’ll take you home, Aqin will take you home..."
