She nodded with a breezy smile, "That’s right, Sea Chief Hai, only through cooperation can we both prosper. I believe there’s no tribe on the Beastman Continent that is as united, loving and affluent as ours."
Hai Qin also nodded with a smile, "You might as well call me Uncle, too. Addressing me as ’Sea Chief Hai’ all the time sounds so formal. Are you still harbouring any resentment from our past disputes?"
"Alright, Uncle!"
Su Tang cheerily called Hai Qin by his new nickname.
Following the mutual agreement, they will next discuss the relocation of the Mermaid Beastmen.
After working continuously for so many days, the White Tiger Beastmen just moved out of the caves and into the warm houses.
As good as these heated houses are, the Mermaid Clan couldn’t quite settle in.
Even though they loved the warm feeling, after staying in these houses for too long, the fish would dry out and become rough.
It wasn’t as noticeable in the young but the elders couldn’t handle it. The Mermaid priests and Doctor are practically going to the chilly sea to soak every day.
So, if the Mermaid Beastmen relocate here, these houses definitely won’t suit them; it’s best if they live near the water.
Upon hearing Hai Qin’s plea, Su Tang’s eyes lit up, "Uncle, I have an idea, do you want to hear it?"
Hai Qin nodded, "Go ahead."
In the Construction Blueprint of Paradise, as a defence measure for the valley, a moat of around ten meters wide and twenty meters deep will be dug around it.
Since the Mermaid Beastmen don’t like places too dry, caves would be carved out on the mountainside near the moat. Sea water could then be transported over from the sea, so they could swim around anytime they like.
Even for Mermaids who indeed prefer living in water, carving out underwater caves when constructing the moat could be an option. With reasonable layout and sea water immersion, it would be no different from living in the sea, catering to individual preferences for decoration.
The moat would be connected to the interior of the mountain, so the mermaids could enter the moat directly from their rooms inside the mountain, or return to the mountain from the moat.
Thus, they could live on land when they want, or return to water for a soak when they feel like it. Even though the moat is not as wide as the bottom of the sea, the purpose of their relocation to land is to get more sun exposure, not to swap one place to frolic in water for another.
After hearing Su Tang’s thoughts, Hai Qin couldn’t help but applaud!
"You’ve considered everything for us so thoroughly, I don’t know how to thank you!"
Su Tang playfully blinked, "Uncle, you are too polite. Once you’re in Paradise, we are family. It’s my duty to aid you. Moreover, my help to you isn’t free, you know~"
Hai Qin waved dismissively, "Just say what you need help with! As long as I can do it!"
Su Tang also laughed, "Really? Well, since you said so, Uncle, I won’t hold back!"
The local Beastmen here can’t swim, and they had no boats either.
They were so close to the sea, and so many Fish Beasts, crabs, and shrimps were in the sea. They were all delicious!
The feeling is like guarding a treasure mountain but unable to find the entrance, so they could do nothing but drool and watch from a distance!
Now, as they cooperate with the inhabitants of the treasure mountain, they can transport the treasures hidden inside the mountain, and everyone can enjoy them!
