Chapter 579: Chapter 580: Distasteful as a Flower

Seeing her reaction, a hint of disdain crossed Yadang’s eyes.

He sneered, then stared intently into her eyes, his gaze tinged with large patches of pink.

This pink hue made her feel dizzy, causing her to stumble a bit.

Feeling unwell, she shook her head. When she opened her eyes again, she suddenly saw Yadang preparing to smash a large stone in her direction.

"Ah——!"

She screamed in fright, raising her arm to protect herself.

But after a while, there was no pain. She cautiously opened her eyes again, only to see a bright sunshine, with no trace of anyone.

She was somewhat dazed, as she touched the blood on her chin and licked her still bleeding gums, which confirmed that all of this was real and not a dream!

Yadang, Yadang hadn’t died; he had come back seeking revenge?!

No, or perhaps he was dead, and had returned from death to avenge them!?

The thought scared her to death!

Trembling, she got up from the ground and began to crawl towards Luo Bu’s tree house. It might have been her imagination, but the surrounding trees seemed dark and eerie, making her feel very uncomfortable!

Her heart racing, she quickened her pace, wishing she could fly!

But she distinctly remembered Luo Bu’s tree house was not in this direction, this was the way to... the Doctor’s Cave?

She found it strange, she was sure she was heading for Luo Bu’s tree house; how had she gotten lost and ended up at the Doctor’s Cave?

After hesitating for a moment, she decided it was more important to find Luo Bu first. So even though she had arrived at the mouth of the cave, she determinedly turned around.

Just as she was about to leave, she heard Luo Bu’s surprised voice from behind, "Why are you here?"

She turned quickly. Upon seeing Luo Bu, tears streamed down her face.

She threw herself onto Luo Bu and sobbed, "Abu, I’m so scared...whimpering...."

Luo Bu, unprepared, was struck by her full force. Her blood stained his beast skin, a disgusting sight.

Luo Bu tried to shake her off but the grip she had on his neck prevented him from doing so.

Reluctantly, Luo Bu tried to comfort her gently, "Alright, stop crying. What happened? How did you get hurt?"

But she was so terrified that she just kept crying, hanging on to Luo Bu’s neck and bawling without saying a word.

Her tears and snot were mixed with the bloody saliva in a disgusting mess on Luo Bu’s neck.

Luo Bu’s forehead veins bulged and his teeth clenched; it was a miracle that he managed to curb his impulse to punch her away.

Once she had cried enough and finally left Luo Bu’s embrace, she saw the mess on Luo Bu’s body and sobbed, "I’ve made you dirty; do you think disgustingly of me?"

The corner of Luo Bu’s eye twitched involuntarily. Inhaling deeply, he asked, "Why are you here? Doesn’t the city master forbid you to wander around?"

She hurried to explain, "I asked the Beast Soldiers to tell the city master that I wanted to come to see Yali, and he let me."

Luo Bu slightly furrowed his brows. Knowing the City Master as well as he did, he would not have allowed her to come. What had happened in his absence?

"Don’t think so much, the City Master must have let me come because he likes me," she said.
