Chapter 593: Chapter 595: Swamp Forest
Upon hearing Yadang’s words, Qiu Mo couldn’t help but shiver, her eyes wide with horror, "Will the land eat people here?"
Yadang hooked up the corners of his lips, a mischievous smile flashing in his fox eyes, yet his face remained serious.
"Yes, you better stick close to me, or else the land will swallow you up!"
When he said these words, Yadang’s tone grew heavier. Coupled with the somewhat eerie and grim surroundings, Qiu Mo was on the verge of crying out in fear.
Su Tang stepped forward and held Qiu Mo’s arm, "Don’t listen to his nonsense, it’s just a swamp. But remember, if you accidentally fall in, don’t struggle. The more you struggle, the faster you’ll sink."
Having heard Su Tang’s explanation, Qiu Mo became even more terrified, her voice trembling, "Then, then what do we do..."

Qiu Mo took ten, ate one, and put the remaining nine into the beast skin pouch she carried on her back.
The others did the same.
Once prepared, Yadang and Xi lead the way, with Qiu Mo and Su Tang in the middle, and Gaiyin at the rear guard.
Between the trees, the light was dim. The dense tree crowns obstructed the sunlight, rendering the forest eerily quiet. Not a sound could be heard, and there were no signs of any wild beasts.
The further in they walked, the more they could feel the humidity and heat in the air. The white fog floating in the air wasn’t harmful, but it was significantly pungent and hard to bear.
The ground here was covered in a thick layer of fallen leaves, making it impossible to differentiate between a swamp and solid ground beneath the leaves.
Every step they took was cautious. Navigating was a hassle, and thus their pace became more than doubly slow.
An hour passed, but they hadn’t traveled much distance.
Feeling slightly dizzy and extremely lethargic, it was time to take another detoxification pill.
So, Su Tang suggested everyone take a short break.
After taking another detoxification pill, their minds gradually started to clear.
