Chapter 598: Chapter 600: First-tier Sky Canyon

They were already in the middle of the forest at the entrance of the First-tier Sky Canyon. Without the detoxification pills provided by Su Tang, they wouldn’t have been able to make it this far.

So, no one believed that this beastman had come from outside the Poisonous Fog Forest.

Furthermore, they hadn’t noticed any other traces of people when they entered, and this beastman was discovered shortly after he had fallen into the swamp.

Thus, considering all of the above, this beastman must have come from the Xixili Flatland.

It was very strange though, they had already given him a detox pill, and his pulse had returned to normal, but there were no signs of him waking up. 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝘣.𝘤𝘰𝑚

Su Tang guessed, "He might just be tired and will be fine once he wakes up."

The group was left speechless.

They still had a journey to continue, and the beastman was sound asleep, not considering the feelings of the others at all!!

Having no choice, they had saved the beastman, and he was likely from the Xixili Flatland. Thus, they couldn’t just abandon him now, so Yadang and Xi alternated carrying him as they moved on.

The group took two more detoxification pills and finally stood at the entrance of the rumored ’First-tier Sky’ Canyon.

The place lived up to its reputation, with endless rocky cliffs stretched out in one piece, adorned with a gap in the middle as if torn open by somebody. The ominous black gap snarled at them.

The mountain peaks soared into the clouds, shrouded in smoke making it hard to see clearly, as the light of the day was already dimming.

In front of them was a desolate open space with the dark gap and behind them the dense forest, all under the dim light, a silent night, a perfect setting for a horror movie!

Should... should we go in now?"

Su Tang swallowed nervously. The pitch-black gap gave her the creeps.

Qiu Mo was already scared and huddled in Xi’s arms, only revealing her trembling eyes, "Should we, um, wait until daylight to go in ..."

Seeing the two frightened women, and also having an unconscious beastman, it was eventually decided that they would rest for the night right there.

Su Tang took out a flint from her space and started a fire. Once there was a bit of light, she and Qiu Mo slowly began to calm down.

Gaiyin created a small hut for Su Tang and Qiu Mo to rest in, and then brought out some pots and chopsticks. Xi fetched water and they started cooking again.

After a satisfying meal, sleepiness soon overwhelmed them.

Everything was too unfamiliar to them, so they didn’t dare to all rest at once. Gaiyin and the others took turns to keep watch, and the person on duty had to remind everyone to take a detox pill every hour.

That’s how they made it through the night without incident.

With a bit of rest, they were all energetic the next day!

The unknown beastman still hadn’t woken up. Su Tang was quite baffled, but there was nothing wrong with him from any observable aspect, the System even confirmed he was just sleeping.

However, he had been asleep for an awfully long time ...

Left with no choice, Yadang and Xi continued to take turns carrying the beastman.

With fear in their hearts they entered the canyon, imagining what brutal wild beasts they might encounter.

But after entering, they discovered that other than rocks, there were only more rocks, not even a single blade of grass!

All it had extra was denser fog. The detoxification pill that would work for about an hour outside could only last for half an hour in the canyon.
