Chi Yu’s figure appeared within Suo Long’s line of sight.
He was seen chatting and laughing, looking sideways at several Beastmen and a young female by his side. Since they were a bit far off, Suo Long couldn’t make out their faces clearly.
As they came a bit closer, Suo Long’s gaze was completely drawn to Yadang. Looking at the Beastman whose features felt somewhat familiar, his eyes gradually moistened.
Chi Yu also spotted Suo Long, who was waiting at the cave entrance, from a distance.
Turning his head and looking at Yadang, he pointed in that direction and said, "That’s my uncle. I told him about this last night, and he was so happy that he couldn’t sleep the entire night. He’s already here waiting since the break of dawn. Aunt Jin Se is staying in the cave because her eyes aren’t good."
Following the direction Chi Yu pointed, Yadang saw a Beastman with white hair standing there with a stiff expression. He was squinting, looking towards them eagerly.
Despite the gloom in the depths of his eyes, they could not hide the joy on his face. His Beast Skin looked new, as if he had just put it on.
The gazes of the two men met across more than ten meters and the tiny moment felt like a bolt of lightning had struck the core of Yadang’s heart.
As they approached each other, Suo Long’s gaze remained fixed on Yadang, and his eyes became even more moist.
Suo Long reached out his hand, his lips trembling slightly. His voice was bitter and hoarse as he tentatively asked, "Are you... Yadang?"
Yadang’s heartbeat pounded in his ears like the beating of drums, and he nodded in an attempt to appear calm, "It’s me."

Just as he blinked, a clear tear trickled down his somewhat rugged face. His Qi was shaking violently, but he was trying hard to control his emotions.
A slight noise was heard from inside the cave. Chi Yu was the first to rush in, "Aunt, don’t come out here. Your eyes can’t handle the strong light."
Jin Se tried to break away from Chi Yu’s grip, she squinted her eyes and struggled towards the brightest direction. Even though she knew it might hurt her, she had no qualms about it.
"Cub, my cub is back, I want to see my cub, let go of me..."
Outside the cave, Yadang’s expression shifted slightly when he heard this. He then went inside.
The first thing he noticed was an elderly hunched-over lady with white hair.
She was leaning on a wooden stick for support, standing with much difficulty due to the years devoid of sunlight. Her pallid skin was contrasted by almost black circles around her eyes. Her eyes appeared to be clouded by a layer of gray, obscuring even the pupils.
Yadang stood in front of her, the complexity of his emotions were etched on his face. His throat felt as though it was clogged with a bitter lump of wood, rendering him speechless.
Jin Se also sensed something. Her hands, clutching the wooden stick, trembled non-stop. Even though she couldn’t see the Beastman in front of her clearly, she knew unequivocally in her heart that this was her cub!
