Chapter 657: Chapter 660 Xi’en Gets Beaten Up

The attitude of Xi’en greatly infuriated St. Ya.

"What is this attitude? What right do you have to question me?"

She conjured up a long whip covered in thorns with a wave of her hand, whipping it forcefully on Xi’en’s body, leaving a scar that was neither shallow nor deep. 𝒏𝒐𝙫𝙥𝙪𝙗.𝒄𝙤𝙢

Xi’en’s body shivered slightly, and he let out a low groan. However, he still held his back straight.

He had long grown accustomed to the spontaneous violence of St. Ya.

"Amu hasn’t told me why Alu left."

Xi’en seemed indifferent to the pain, looking at St. Ya with a cold expression.

But his response was met with two cracking whips.

St. Ya whipped and shouted, "How dare you talk back to me, who allowed you to talk back to me! If you don’t listen to me, this will be the consequence!"

Xi’en couldn’t bear it and clenched his teeth. His ever-gentle face could not help but reveal a hint of disgust.

Outside the cave, Su Tang and others who had originally planned to enter stopped their steps.

They looked at each other, all being a bit lost.

Finally, a female Ming Deer who had just emerged from the cave said to them, "You’d better stay out here, the chief has a bad temper, lest she vent her anger on you."

As if to confirm her words, two whip cracks from the cave echoed outside.

The female Ming Deer shrugged her shoulders, "Did you hear? But don’t worry too much, the chief won’t hurt the young master too badly, at most he will endure some physical pain."

Su Tang frowned, "Is Xi’en really the cub of your chief?" How could she bear to whip him so?

Su Tang didn’t voice the latter part of the sentence, but the female Ming Deer could infer her meaning.

"Of course the young master is the chief’s cub. Well, I’m not going to talk with you any longer, the young master may not be able to join you today. You can roam around the flatland, and later I will find someone to take care of him."

The female Ming Deer certainly didn’t want to talk further, and hurried off after speaking.

Su Tang and the others could not continue to stand there, and had no choice but to leave.

Through those days of mingling with Xi’en, everyone understood that despite his seemingly indifferent and elegant demeanor, Xi’en wore his heart on his sleeve!

Lu Yu was older than Xi’en, and he had always regarded Lu Yu as an elder sister. Moreover, because he had previously avoided coupling with Lu Yu, Xi’en felt somewhat guilty.

Before he could make up for his mistake, Lu Yu had escaped quietly!

Xi’en didn’t know what had happened. But from his understanding of Lu Yu, something unacceptable must have happened to her the day before, causing her to flee secretly.

St. Ya whipped Xi’en a few more times. When she stopped to catch her breath, she noticed the bleeding wounds all over his body.

Her face was filled with remorse. She stepped forward with trembling hands and gently touched Xi’en’s wound.

St. Ya delicately asked, "Does it hurt?"

Xi’en tried hard to suppress his disgust, answering faintly, "It doesn’t hurt."

St. Ya gently hugged Xi’en, her voice much softer than before.

"Listen to me, Amu is doing this for your own good. Amu is not going to harm you; behave and listen to Amu. Don’t make me angry, or else I won’t hit you anymore, you understand?"

Xi’en lowered his eyes, hiding his emotion. He responded indifferently.

St. Ya nodded in satisfaction.

She placed her hand over Xi’en’s wound and a burst of green light flickered over it.
