Xi nodded faintly, "I encountered an Evil Shark Beast. It took quite a while to find its weak point and kill it."
Gaiyin shifted his gaze to Bai Que, "And you?"
Bai Que pondered for a moment, and seeing no reason to hide since he had already passed the test, he spilled everything.
"I was teleported to a cliff and encountered a Human-faced Bird-legged Beast. It was powerful, and our fight dragged on for a long time," he disclosed.
A suspicion was forming in Gaiyin’s mind, but it needed confirmation by several more people.
Bai Que eyed the wound on his chest that wouldn’t stop bleeding. He recalled what the steward had just said—he was the third to pass the tests and was rewarded with a bottle of top-grade golden wound medicine, temporarily stored in the Muxian Order.
