Gaiyin’s eyebrows twitched slightly.
After thinking for a few seconds, he mouthed, "Marriage?"
Su Tang shook her head and continued to gesture with the diamond ring in her hand.
Gaiyin chuckled softly, "Ring?"
Su Tang also smiled; she nodded vigorously and proceeded to hold up one finger.
Immediately, Gaiyin gave the correct answer without hesitation, "Diamond ring!"
Their interaction was less than thirty seconds in its entirety and yet Gaiyin miraculously responded with the right answer.
This unexpected turn left everyone dumbstruck.
All were perplexed and disoriented as if what they witnessed was unreal.
"This... this has got to be fake?"
"I haven’t even caught my breath yet and they are already done?"
"I thought they were going to be eliminated. How did they pass the test that easily?"
"Did the two of them cheat? Were they able to hear each other’s thoughts? How else could they respond so quickly?"
The beast soldiers were abuzz, each expressing their disbelief in heated discussion.
Looking with disdain at the indignant soldiers, Yadang’s face was no longer ridden with worry. Instead, a proud grin was on his face as he thought to himself, ’My cub is truly remarkable.’
He retorted, "What the hell is wrong with you all? When they were not passing the test you guessed they’d be eliminated, and now that they passed, you are accusing them of cheating? Maybe you are the ones who cheated!"
The Beast Soldiers argued, each vehemently upholding their points of view.
Only when Sando’s voice rang out did everyone gradually calm down.
"Congratulations to both competitors for successfully passing the second round of the test. You will receive a prize: a pair of Lovesickness Stones, and 50 points each. Please continue to strive to pass the tests and secure the inheritance to the Wood Immortal Mansion."
Upon hearing Sando’s announcement, the Beast Soldiers had to grudgingly accept the reality, even if they didn’t want to.

Two white lights extended from within the circle, crossed the stream, and reached the other bank, forming a small arch bridge that only one person at a time could cross.
After Sando announced that Su Tang and her allies had passed, the familiar Colorful Mist Vortex Gate appeared on the grassland on the other side of the river.
Su Tang and Gaiyin exchanged smiles and both stepped onto the white light.
Despite seeming intangible, the white light was pretty sturdy.
Just as Su Tang and Gaiyin were about halfway across the arch bridge, there was a sudden change.
A robust beast soldier suddenly rushed out from the crowd towards the circle of light near Su Tang, moving incredibly fast.
Another smaller beast soldier from the crowd quickly realised what was happening, smirked, and dashed towards Gaiyin’s light circle.
In the blink of an eye, both had passed through the light circle and stood firmly on the white arch bridge.
Even then, they did not slow down but charged straight towards Su Tang and Gaiyin, seemingly intending to bump them into the river.
Everyone’s hearts fluttered.
"Sugar Cub! Watch out!"
Xi’en and Xi also snapped back to their senses. While running forward, they shot out long water and wooden whips respectively, speeding towards the robust beast soldier behind Su Tang.
However, they were still not fast enough to catch up with the robust beast soldier.
