In the blink of an eye, several hours had passed.
Su Tang was quite sure that something was off about this situation.
Normally, when they were outdoors, going a few hours without water wasn’t a problem at all, at most, they’d feel a little thirsty.
But here, they too couldn’t stand the dryness in their mouths and had Qiu Mo and Xi release some water beads to moisten their throats, but no one drank a lot.
This test targeted them in particular, not only did their heat resistance diminish, but their superpowers recovery rate also slowing significantly.
Qiu Mo’s superpower was almost completely exhausted, and Xi’s superpower was almost a third depleted.
At least, Su Tang and the others had replenished some of their liquids.
The Beast Soldiers leading were parched, their lips cracked and dry. In a state far from glamorous, they lay lifeless in the sandpit with hollow eyes that looked utterly drained.

He let out a sigh of relief, then started searching the ground for more pearls.
The lead Beast Soldier’s eyes bulged incredulously, "You, have you gone mad?!"
Everyone knew the white pearls were strange.
No one dared to touch them!
Yet he consumed the liquid inside without any care!
As if he hadn’t heard the question, the Beast Soldier swallowed several dozen white pearls one after another, finally looking satisfied.
He slumped to the ground, a smile on his face, "So satisfying, you all should try it, feels great after drinking it, I feel rejuvenated."
Everyone looked at him in silence.
The Beast Soldier’s sanity seemed to return, and he dropped his smile.
"I know what you’re worried about, honestly, when the white pearls first appeared, I had accidentally consumed some of the liquid inside. Since I’ve had no abnormal side effects, I drank up so much earlier."
Most people still did not believe him.
They all thought that the Beast Soldier had been bewitched by the liquid inside the white pearls.
Yet, under the intolerable torment, a few Beast Soldiers chose to believe him.
"You, you’re really alright?"
The Beast Soldier stood and hopped around, "I’m okay, see? No problem at all! Drink up, aren’t you all suffering? We don’t know what this round of testing involves, we can’t just die of thirst here, right?
Plus, I drank up earlier without any issue, would I do it again if it was indeed harmful?"
Perhaps thinking the Beast Soldier’s words made sense.
So a couple of Beast Soldiers also hesitantly dug out some white pearls from the sandpit.
But they still could not make a decision, holding them in their hands, torn about what to do.
