Chapter 808: Chapter 812: The Third Test 45

But the Black Mountain Witch had her own rules to abide by, so even though she was very angry, the trials still had to continue.

After two more counts, the Black Mountain Witch suddenly found out that Yadang had also entered into the sandstorm.

Yet the female trapped by the Insect Beasts was still lively and kicking.

Having no choice, she had to send out some of the Insect Beasts to block Yadang’s approach.

However, since the scent of Holy Water was so strong on Yadang, the Insect Beasts were unwilling to get too close.

It was the blocking by these Insect Beasts that slowed Yadang down.

By the time Yadang broke through the sand Barrier, the number of Insect Beasts surrounding him had doubled, trapping him in the same spot.

However, Yadang didn’t mind, because this position was already sufficient for him.

So, when the little snakes on the Black Mountain Witch’s head looked towards Yadang, he immediately hypnotized them with his superpower.

The little snakes thought they were monitoring everyone’s movements, in other words, the Black Mountain Witch thought she controlled the snakes to watch over their every move.

Little did she know that the snakes had long been under Yadang’s control, and everything they saw was an Illusionary World woven by him.

Naturally, the information the Black Mountain Witch received was also fake.

Once all the little snakes were controlled, Yadang signaled Gaiyin with the agreed-upon signal.

Gaiyin and White Sparrow then moved swiftly to their location.

Their sudden arrival caused the Insect Beasts to become agitated.

The slight smile that had been on the face of the Black Mountain Witch suddenly stiffened.

"What’s the matter? What’s happened?"

The feedback from the snakes was that no one had moved, so why were her other companions starting to get restless?

The Black Mountain Witch sensed something was not right.

She inquired of the little snakes again but received the same information as before.

Before she could figure out what was happening, 𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙥𝒖𝒃.𝒄𝒐𝒎

she suddenly felt a searing sensation on her head, followed by the snakes going into a frenzied twist!

The Black Mountain Witch immediately realized she had been tricked!

She wanted to counterattack, but just as the Thought came to her, she felt an intense pain - her little snakes had been viciously chopped off from her head!

"Ah! I’ll tear you to pieces! My little snakes, my little snakes!"

Two beams of white light suddenly shot out of the Black Mountain Witch’s eyes.

Because all of the snakes on her head had been slashed off by Gaiyin, some turned to ashes due to White Sparrow’s fire, and some were still writhing in pain on the sandy ground.

The Black Mountain Witch, now blind, could only shoot out two aimless beams of white light.

All living things, even including snakes and Centipedes, turned into Sand Sculptures when touched by the white light.

Eventually, with a gust of strange wind, they turned into lumps of Sandbags.

Gaiyin dodged the white light while quickly advancing towards the Black Mountain Witch.

Flashing behind her, a sharp blade materialized in his hand, his eyes void of emotion, he said coldly, "Goodbye."

As soon as the words were spoken, the blade in his hand mercilessly sliced towards the Black Mountain Witch’s neck.

A strange scene ensued.

A bowl-sized wound opened on the Black Mountain Witch’s neck, but what flowed out was yellow sand.

Slowly, very slowly, the range of the wound began to widen.

Just like those previously touched by her white light, the Black Mountain Witch’s whole body started disintegrating into sand.

She became a Sand Sculpture, eventually turning into a pile of yellow sand, scattered by the odd wind until there was no trace left.

The moment she disappeared, the Hourglass in the sky also vanished without a trace.
