Su Tang held the Lovesickness Stone representing Gaiyin’s life and health. By observing that the glow hadn’t changed much since their departure, it seemed they hadn’t encountered any danger.
So, the three sat side by side in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, eagerly looking in the direction they had left from.
Suddenly, Xi’en stood up from the floor and pressed himself against the window, staring intently outside.
It startled Qiu Mo, "Xi’en, what are you doing?"
Xi’en turned his head, a look of surprise on his face, and muttered, "They seem to be coming back."
At his words, both Su Tang and Qiu Mo also leaned against the window, but all they could see was darkness, nothing else was visible.
"There are three dark figures running towards us, I can’t make out if it’s them... it’s them! It’s them! They’re back!"
Hearing Xi’en’s confirmation, Su Tang finally let out a sigh of relief.
Before long, the safety cabin’s door opened, and the three of them came in one after another.
"How did it go? Is everyone okay? Any injuries?"
Su Tang and Qiu Mo concernedly circled around the trio.

Su Tang laughed awkwardly, trying to seem sincere, "Of course I believe! Why wouldn’t I? I truly believe!"
Yadang couldn’t help but look away; the acting was so bad it was painful to watch.
With a faint smile, Gaiyin wrapped an arm around Su Tang and explained, "It looked somewhat like a Long Tooth Beast, but was much larger. At the moment of its death, it spat out a ball of Spider Web from its mouth. The web was fireproof, extremely tough and sticky; once entangled, there was no escaping."
Xi, still looking somewhat shaken, nodded in agreement, "Yeah, the big oaf from the Bai Que Team was eliminated just like that."
Qiu Mo immediately asked with curiosity, "So how did you guys defeat it?"
"Well... We don’t know."
"Don’t know?" Su Tang also found it strange, "How can you not know if you defeated it?"
