Gaiyin carried Su Tang as usual, weaving through the Maze, with Xi closely following behind.
After they passed through a narrow, cramped corridor, a vast clearing suddenly opened up before their eyes.
Gaiyin unconsciously stopped in his tracks.
This was a huge circular clearing, surrounded on all sides by high stone walls, with three exits just like the corridor they’d come from.
This was the first time they’d encountered such a place after so many days of travel.
Su Tang’s brows knitted together in thought as she patted Gaiyin’s arm.
"Ayin, go to the very center and fly up to see if there is any change. I think we may have come to the heart of the Maze."
Gaiyin nodded in agreement.
Then transforming into his white tiger form, he cautiously moved upwards step by step.

When he saw the safety hut that had sheltered them on the fifth night, a pressure came from above, making it impossible for him to move any higher.
Gaiyin tried to change his position to see if he could fly any higher.

Su Tang then took out a map and spread it out in front of the three of them, "Come over and look."
