The Xenoid Queen felt excruciating pain as her left hand was sliced by a large, metallic claw that appeared out of nowhere. Despite being enormous, the mechanical golden lion that emerged out of nowhere was fast enough to catch her off-guard as she wrestled against Braveblitz.
"That's…!"
Braveblitz noticed the golden lion, it was enormous, but still around a third of his own size. However, it had sharp enough claws to deal this much damage, leaving the robot surprised.
"Big brother Blake! We're here!"
Bambi's voice echoed through the lion, as Blake and everyone else realized that somehow, their robots had become that giant mechanical golden lion.
"On our own we couldn't do much…"
"But it seems that through a miracle, our machines have unified into a single unit!"
B-9 and A-0 also spoke after Bambi, their mechanical units were within the giant lion, merged with it.
"We have no idea how this happened, but all our junk seems to have merged, this is crazy!"
Zack, in the other case, was also there, alongside thousands of other players.
The very reason Zack and the other Players were here to begin with was also because once they went into cryogenic sleep, their consciousness is uploaded into the Virtual Nexus.
Most people live in simulated houses with their families or others simply prefer to go back to sleep, but the Players all logged in to play again, and ended being called by Aurora at this last, decisive moment.
"Incredible, Nova did this, didn't she?" Blake wondered, as he looked at Aurora.
"Indeed, it appears she has the power to unify technology," nodded Aurora. "Similarly to what Braveblitz has… In fact, there's still another ally in the way."
"Another? Ah, you mean…?!" Blake's eyes widened at the same time as Braveblitz, as the Xenoid Queen attacked the roaring lion.
"YOU'RE NOT EVEN AS BIG AS HIM AND YOU THINK YOU CAN STAND A CHANCE?! DIE!"
As she swung her claws and tentacles at the lion, the golden beast moved rapidly, its mechanical legs moving through empty space and leaving a trail of golden flames.
She constantly tried to catch him, but the golden mechanical lion was surprisingly nimble and fast, easily evading her attacks while unleashing sneaky claw attacks, bites, and golden fireballs around her.
"ROOOAAARR!"
"NNGGH! COME HERE!"
As she was being temporarily distracted, another figure rapidly loomed above the two, at least half the size of Braveblitz, it resembled his previous form.
"Deploy Proton Cannons!"
The voice of Refusio echoed through the gigantic machine, as its chest opened to reveal a massive cannon, firing a gigantic beam against the Xenoid Queen.
BOOOMMM!!!
The Xenoid Queen waved her arm to bounce it elsewhere, but she ended burning half her arm in the process, flesh turning into ashes at the same time as her hand.
"AAAGGH! W-WHAT?! IT WAS STRONGER THAN I THOUGHT?!"
She was left flabbergasted, as Refusio, the General, and the Elders of the Past piloted the giant machine in a large central area, the handsome, long-haired man looked at the beast with his bright eyes.
"We might not even be real humans, but we've found that it is our duty to see the Ark Project to the end! We will give every bit of our Digital Data if it means we can help humanity prosper!"
"OOOOHHHH!"
All the soldiers roared within the giant Prototype Ark mech form, as Braveblitz felt a connection with it and the Golden Lion!
"DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!"
The Xenoid Queen roared, releasing a blazing, space-distorting shockwave that pushed the Golden Lion away and even the Ark Prototype, only with Braveblitz in front of them.
"THREE AGAINST ONE? IT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER, YOU'RE ALL TRASH EITHER WAY!"
The gigantic female alien laughed, as her tentacles began to regenerate and so her hands…
Braveblitz immediately knew what he had to do.
It was pretty obvious, and his sister was hinting at that the entire time.
"Thank you, Nova. I understand now… Blake, you know what we have to do!"
"Indeed!"
Blake's eyes shone brightly as his Soul Aura expanded out of Braveblitz, connecting through Aurora towards the Prototype Ark and the Golden Lion.
"Everyone, alone we cannot do this! Lend us your strength, and let's fight as one!"
His voice echoed through both of the machines, the people inside, friends that Blake and Aurora made through their adventures inside the Virtual World, agreed immediately.
"Of course, Blake! Everyone, we're combining the Prototype Ark with the Finished Product, ready the Energizing Batteries! Allow for the entrance of cybernetic inputs!"
Refusio instantly nodded alongside his father and the general, alongside the Elders of the Past, who had yet to fall into madness and greed like their future selves.
"Of course big brother! Let's go all-out like when we fought the Saurian King!"
"We entrust on you our lives once more, King of Steel!"
Bambi and her sister nodded, as they infused their golden aura into the robot, infusing it with their soul and their willpower. This was the electromagnetic energy within them affected by their own emotions and desires.
"Naturally, that is what we must do."
"Let's create a future together!"
B-9 and A-0 nodded, holding hands together as their energies were infused into the Golden Lion alongside Bambi and her big sister, and the rest of the androids, robots, and the tribesmen.
"You heard the man, everyone! Let's give it our all!"
"OOOOHHHHH!"
Zack cheered the rest of the Players, as they agreed right away.
"Then let's go! Combine!"
Blake and Braveblitz's voices echoed at the same time, their souls unifying into one as a star of shining radiant light shone through their chest.
FLAAASH!
Chains made of light wrapped around both robots, as they were pushed towards Braveblitz, the Xenoid Queen quickly realized what was happening, rushing towards them as quickly as she could.
"I WON'T LET YOU DO AS YOU PLEASE!"
She gathered solar radiation into all her tentacles and fired hundreds of rainbow beams towards Braveblitz, right in the middle of their fusion.
