Chapter 246 - CH: 243 Transformed T Cells II

{Chapter: 243 Transformed T Cells II}

All heads turned toward the source of the voice. William's eyes had opened—burning with a fierce golden light that blazed like miniature suns. His once-dark pupils had turned completely golden, glowing with raw, otherworldly power. Then, with no warning, an invisible surge of telekinetic force exploded outward from his body, aimed directly at the three warriors.

"AAAGH—!" they screamed in unison as the force smashed into them like a battering ram. Blood sprayed from their mouths as their bodies were flung backward. But they didn't land. Mid-air, they exploded—reduced to clouds of blood and chunks of flesh that rained down in a gory spectacle.

William stood up slowly, as if rising from a mere nap. His body radiated power, golden light surging beneath his skin like veins of liquid fire. He turned his gaze toward Odin and offered a smile that was both calm and defiant.

"Sorry to disappoint you, old man," he said. "But it looks like I'm not quite dead yet."

Odin took a step forward, his regal composure momentarily faltering as disbelief flashed across his face. "Impossible... You should've been torn apart by the power of the Glossary of Flow Pill. That amount of special divine energy should've obliterated you."

He wasn't exaggerating. Odin knew better than anyone the destructive force contained in that legendary pill. Back in his great-grandfather's time, a decorated Asgardian general had been granted the same pill as a reward for exceptional service. That general had burst into pieces mere seconds after ingesting it. And yet this mortal—this human—had not only survived but now seemed stronger than ever.

"I'm built differently," William replied coolly. "My body hosts two unique types of cells. Together, they raise my physical durability to about nine times the normal limit of any human being. That pill? It didn't destroy me. It transformed me."

Thor, who had been watching silently until now, snarled in frustration. "Enough with the theatrics!"

Suddenly, the skies darkened, clouds churning as a massive bolt of lightning—at least three meters thick—descended from the heavens, crashing down toward William with a deafening crack.

William didn't even flinch. Without so much as glancing at the sky, he calmly raised one hand.

BOOOOM!

The colossal bolt struck his palm—and stopped dead. Electric energy exploded outward in a shockwave, frying everything nearby. Several Asgardian warriors screamed as they were caught in the blast, their bodies convulsing and blackening before collapsing into heaps of ash and burnt flesh.

As the lightning dissipated, smoke wafted from William's body. He casually brushed it off his arm like it was nothing more than dust. "That was cute. Got anything stronger?"

"Impossible..." Thor muttered, his face pale. His most powerful lightning strike—the one that could level mountains—had done nothing.

"Impossible, your mother," William snapped. "You want paralysis? I'll give you paralysis."

With a wave of his hand, a lightning bolt far more concentrated and precise than Thor's streaked across the air, aimed directly at the God of Thunder.

Odin's eyes widened. With a burst of divine energy, he raised a finger and summoned a shimmering shield in front of Thor. The bolt struck, and the shield flared brightly as it absorbed the blow—but not without consequence.

Szzzzz-CRACK!

The protective layers shattered one after another, each breaking with a loud, cracking pop. Only at the very last layer did the energy disperse, leaving Thor heaving in relief. A moment later, sweat poured down his forehead. If the shield had been a second slower, he would've been skinned alive.

"The divinity of lightning... You really did absorb it from the hammer, didn't you?" Odin's voice now carried a mixture of disbelief and wary respect. He no longer looked at William as a mere mortal. There was power here—a power that threatened the divine balance.

William smirked, his voice cutting like a blade. "Weren't you listening? Your son already told you—I didn't steal the hammer's essence. I claimed it. I evolved. That's not theft, that's adaptation. All thanks to you"

Then his expression darkened, the smirk twisting into fury.

"But you... you, oh great All-Father—you never change. Always locking away problems, sealing doors instead of opening your eyes. You call yourself the god of wisdom? Of knowledge? You can't even see past your own throne!"

He stepped closer, voice rising, thunder in his tone.

"You bury threats instead of facing them. You silence power instead of guiding it. You don't solve problems—you delay them, hoping someone else will bleed when they resurface!"

"You call that wisdom? No. That's fear. That's arrogance. That's a king who builds a golden cage and calls it peace. You've never prepared for the future—you've just tried to outrun it."

The air around them seemed to tremble, as if the very heavens themselves recoiled at his words.

Odin's wrath exploded. How dare a mere mortal—no, this mortal—dare challenge his authority, his wisdom, his reign? The Asgardian warriors, who had long bowed to Odin's will, felt their blood boil at the insult. It was as if the weight of the cosmos itself pressed upon their shoulders, calling them to defend their king.

But Odin himself, a once mighty god now drowning in his pride and isolation, only stood frozen, his one eye narrowed in an almost pathetic fury.

William's words hit their mark, as they always did. He knew the gods of Asgard were not the wise, enlightened beings they claimed to be. No, they were creatures of stubborn pride, too afraid to admit their failures or to see the cracks in their own empire.

In the end, Odin had locked away what could have saved them. His fear of the unknown, his refusal to adapt to the changing tides, had sealed Asgard's fate. Just as he had refused to see the cracks in his son's heart, his own blind spot had led to the destruction of everything he claimed to protect.

William's voice became a roar.

"You're not a god of foresight—you're a coward in denial!"

As William's last words, the fury in his voice echoed like a war cry. The Asgardians bristled with rage, gripping their weapons.

A deep, thunderous roar tore through the silence—a sound so raw and furious, it seemed to crack the skies.

"How dare you talk like that to All Father! DIE!" shouted a massive voice.

A towering figure—an Asgardian berserker—charged into the fray. Standing over three meters tall, the warrior wore nothing on his upper body except a fur-lined, open leather jacket that fluttered behind him. His muscles bulged like boulders, and in both hands he wielded an enormous double-headed axe glowing with battle-runes. With a savage howl, he leapt into the air, axe raised high, intent on splitting William in two.

William turned toward the brute calmly, golden eyes narrowing.

"Another fool rushing to their death," he murmured.
