Litty, Learning about Physical Monsters

“Ha?!”

“You’re not concentrating! Roma-san? One! Two!”

Roma’s training at the Dancers’ Guild was going well.

Although she was still in the monotonous basic training stage, she was already showing great promise. But then something unusual happened to her.

“Roma-san!”

“Excuse me! I’ll continue!”

“Remember the rhythm now! You must find out what the rhythm is! Do you understand?”

Suddenly, Roma felt uneasy. She had no idea what was wrong, but she had a feeling that something happened to Litty.

After some thought, she decided to ask permission from the Branch Manager in front of her to leave early.

“Hey! Branch Manager!”

“Call me Coach! What is it?”

The Branch Manager, a former actor in a theater troupe that once captivated the entire royal capital, had been praising Roma unreservedly.

If Roma requested, she could easily get the Branch Manager’s approval to leave early without any problem. But what would those who have been in the apprenticeship for years say if she selfishly left early without any proper reason?

Roma shook off her misgivings as she noticed the stares of the apprentices.

“No, it was nothing! I will continue!”

Roma remembered her own decision: She would not only fight with Litty, but she would also find her own specialization.

She had no time to be distracted.

“Hmmm? Alright, then, let’s resume the rhythm, shall we? One! Two! One! Two!”

Combined with her attractiveness, Roma’s movements attracted the audience without surprise.

A Dancer was not a job of mere technique alone. By its very nature, the power that could be displayed using it depended heavily on the charm of the dancer itself.

Qualities, aura, charisma… Each dancer expressed themselves differently, but in general, they needed all of these things.

“Good move!”

“Thank you, Branch Manager!”

“Call me coach!” 𝑛𝘰𝑣𝑝𝑢𝑏.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Branch Manager’s “Good move” remark surprised even the apprentices. No one in this branch other than Jennifer had received a Good rating within the first month of training from the Branch Manager.

Roma only started that day. The Branch Manager was more enthusiastic in his instructions, convinced that he was not mistaken.

“Great! You are Great! Do you understand?”

“Ah? Even though it’s my first day!?”

“Yup!”

“Eh?”

Roma’s talent was blossoming as she was finishing up the basics.

This was a Guild that even experienced adventurers visit to help to improve their movements. The Branch Manager was famous for having a keen eye in detecting even the slightest disturbance on someone’s movements, even if he was dealing with first-class adventurers.

Jennifer from Red Flag also verified that those that the Branch Manager had given praise likely had a higher survival rate in their adventuring days.

“All of us have a rhythm that we follow unconsciously! Just as there is a rhythm to life, there is a rhythm to battle! If you are out of rhythm, you are less than half a fighter! Do you understand?”

“Yes!”

Roma smiled, thinking that Litty would be very pleased if she saw her progress. Roma planned to tell her everything that happened today.

“Alright! That’s it! Thanks, everyone!”

“Thank you very much for today!”

“You have a very beautiful rhythm! If you master it, your enemies and friends will be naturally drawn to you.”

“Beautiful rhythm…”

Roma wondered what Litty’s rhythm would be like.

And what would this Branch Manager make of Litty? It was a sign that Roma was comfortable enough to think about such things.

“I will do my best to stand side by side with you, Litty.”

Despite her concerns about whether she would be able to keep up with the Branch Manager’s routine, Roma’s thoughts went back to Litty.

She no longer thought about that unforgettable feeling from earlier. This was no time for her to be distracted by unnecessary things.
