"You love to make your own conclusion without confirming, don't you? I am not surprised if you love to gossip as well, but you need to be more creative though. The plot is too predictable."
Tang Shaoyang found it amusing. This Levine did not bother to confirm and speak out whatever she had in her mind.
"My sister does love to gossip. You are quite good at reading people, Sir Player," The male elf also chuckled, but the way he addressed him made it sound awkward. It was like calling someone he did not know by their nationality or race, something similar to Sir Chinese or Sir Human. The brother and the sister had their own flaws.
Tang Shaoyang showed them the steel card, "Since you know my rank, you should know my name too, right? You are making it awkward Sir Brother."
The male elf cringed when he was called Sir Brother, tasting his own medicine.
"You haven't explained anything as to why you don't have much time, Sir Tang." The Guild Master went straight to the business and addressed the issue. I know it might be a personal matter to you, but I need to make sure that you don't get us involved in your conflict."
The Guild Master was on her subordinate's side, not willing to be involved in the players' conflict. She had to make sure that Tang Shaoyang was not a trouble for her guild.
"I have a lot of enemies for sure, but you don't need to worry about it. They are not here, so your guild will not get involved in any of my conflicts since I will leave this floor as soon as possible. You register me in your guild and put me in your highest adventurer rank, so I can leave this place soon."
The Guild Master did not like what she heard from Tang Shaoyang. The way Tang Shaoyang treated her guild as a stepping stone, something she knew that she would not like from the players.
"Why don't you join the army then? I think it would be much simpler for you if simplicity is what you are looking for. The Adventure Guild must be thorough with the inspection of each new guild member. The nobles and the army want the Adventure Guild to fall, and I have to make sure that you are not their lackey!"
Tang Shaoyang did not know the conflict between the Adventure Guild and the nobles/ the army. Usually, the two sides were in a mutual relationship to help each other, but it seemed it worked differently here. Not that he was interested, but he could tell Forlan and Hemlin. Both were Guild Masters of their Adventurer Guild. They might be interested in recruiting the Adventurer Guild, another note that he put in his mind.
"The politics, I don't know the politics, and it might jeopardize my time to quickly climb up the tower if I join them. You know how they act. I am afraid that I can't hold back and might kill the noble or the army commander. So Adventure Guild is my best option. Is that enough to satisfy you?"
The male elf smiled, revealing shrewd eyes when he heard the answer, "You just give us a reason to turn you down and send you to the army. You will help us eliminate those stinky nobles for us."
Tang Shaoyang snapped toward the male elf. His smile disappeared from his face as he leaked his aura in the room, "You know what I hate more than politics? Being used as a pawn in your scheme. I am trying to play it nicely, answering your question patiently, but I don't mind finding out what happens if I get rid of both the army and the Adventure Guild."
"I believe The System will give me another quest to climb the tower, and I don't mind finding out if that's the fastest way for me to go to the next floor."
The elven brother and sister took two steps back, alarmed by the aura released by Tang Shaoyang. They were also God Ranks, three of them were God Ranks. That was why they were not afraid of the player, but the aura they felt was terrifying. It made them feel like they were the prey of a wild beast.
"That's enough Levine, Lafont," The Guild Master intervened before the brother and the sister caused trouble. Just like she did not want to get involved in a player conflict, she did not want to be in a conflict with the player as well.
"I can't give you the highest rank adventure, but I can give you the Grandmaster Rank. That will allow you to access most of the quests. I can't trust you, so you will not be allowed to take the quest that is important for the guild."
"That will work too," Tang Shaoyang immediately agreed, not willing to prolong this nonsense anymore.
"Give me your card!" The Guild Master offered her palm.
He placed the steel card on her palm and watched what the Guild Master did to the card. She did nothing to the card, only taking it closer to her and then handing the steel card back. When the steel card returned to his hand, he saw a new line below his name which was his rank, Grandmaster.
"Done. You can go to the counter and ask our receptionist for an appropriate quest for your rank."
Tang Shaoyang took the card and left the room with no more words exchanged between them.
[I thought you were going to charm the Guild Master~] Zara's playful voice rang in his head as he left the room. Not just her, but the other spirits seemed to have the same thoughts as well.
Tang Shaoyang halted his step in front of the hole, he looked down. It was the hole created by Levine to come down to the first floor to stop Baldy from punching him.
"Not interested," He admired the beauty, but he was not going to chase after her, anymore. Even now, he felt like he treated his wives poorly, not giving them the attention they deserved. They understood him and did not demand anything from him. Bringing another woman would be unfair for them, he should not do it for at least until he could give all his wives enough attention.
He jumped into the hole, an instant path to reach the first floor as he muttered in a low voice.
"We are here for the tower, not the women."
He landed exactly where Levine stopped Steven's fist. The buzz of chatter immediately stopped and turned toward him. Not everyone dared to look at him too long. After a quick glance, most of them would look away from him. They did not dare to act friendly and brazenly like before after finding out the newbie's rank.
Tang Shaoyang even spotted Steven trying to hide behind his friend. He waved his hand at Steven, teasing Baldy before turning toward the Quest Board. There were a lot of papers on the board, hundreds of them as the board took the right fully.
He canceled his idea to look for the quest by himself and turned around, walking toward the same attendant who spoke up for him earlier.
"Hello. Can you pick an appropriate mission for my rank?" He placed his adventurer card on the counter.
Nirina was in a daze for a moment before she snapped when her friend kicked her shin," Ah, yes. I will look at the mission for your rank, Sir Tang Shaoyang." She remembered the unique name and made sure that she did not spell it wrong.
"Thank you."
Tang Shaoyang then checked the notification. He received a notification when he came out of the Guild Master's office and had not checked it yet because of Zara.

There was no detail such as how much a certain quest was worth for the point. He had no choice but to find out for himself. His attention was attracted to the gasp behind the counter. He turned and saw the attendant was holding his adventurer card in disbelief, eyes widened while looking at the card.
"Is there something wrong?" He asked out of concern.
Nirina shook her head, "N-No-Nothing… I will look for the quest for you immediately, Sir!"
