Chapter 1058: Time passes like the speed of day and month.

Assassin Angel hidden inside an Omar Goddard Pendant?

Noland Lee was unaware of this, and Omar Goddard did not mention it either.

It seems that the Assassin Angel did this intentionally.

This mysterious and powerful being commented on Noland’s actions and then entered a state of silence.

Noland had no time to probe into the Assassin Angel’s affairs.

Because after the destruction of the red light orb, the Pollution Zone fell into turmoil.

...

Intense tremors, starting from where the red light orb originally was, rapidly spread in all directions, forming blood red circular ripples.

The circular ripples spread outward, sweeping over Noland and Nabby.

In a hurry, Nabby swallowed a small piece of Corpse Essence he had in his hand, shouted his thanks to Noland, and then hurriedly teleported away from the place.

Before he left, he was unfortunately hit by several blood-red ripples, and his skin instantly turned crimson, as if scorched by a red-hot iron.

Fortunately, he teleported away in time, before more anomalies erupted, turning into a flash of red light and vanishing without a trace, leaving only a muffled cry in the air.

Noland fared a bit better.

When the blood-red ripples and intense vibrations appeared, the Omar Goddard pendant emitted a bright Dusk Light.

This light formed a film over his body, protecting his torso and sparing him from the ripple’s assault.

He could avoid the harm from the ripples, but not the agony brought by the tremors.

Noland felt as if every part of his body was being pulled and dragged, as if he had fallen into a meat grinder.

A flood of combat information refreshed in Noland’s mind, overshadowing the previous Passive Deconstruction Results.

[Warning!]

[The aftermath of the Blood Binder’s Demise is causing you damage!]

[You have sustained moderate physical damage!]

[Your “Tenacity” attribute value has temporarily dropped by 15 points!]

[When “Tenacity” drops to zero, you will perish!]

15 points off “Tenacity” all at once?!

Noland was shocked.

System Text kept refreshing in his mind.

Every five seconds, his “Tenacity” would temporarily decrease by 15 points.

At best, he could only survive here for 1 minute!

As the “Tenacity” attribute values decreased, Noland’s skin visibly withered and dulled, and many deep wounds appeared on his bones.

His flesh and blood, like melting candle wax, sloughed off, followed by even deeper pain.

This must be the danger Omar Goddard repeatedly emphasized.

“You should leave this place first. I must start transferring my soul and Extraordinary Traits quickly, or this space will completely collapse, leading to the demise of the Pollution Zone,” Omar Goddard said gravely.

A speck of light flew out of the pendant and floated in front of Noland.

The grain of light emitted the Dazzling Dusk Light, dispelling the surrounding blood-red ripples and smoothing the omnipresent vibrations; Noland’s injuries were temporarily healed.

The Dusk Light flickered, the grain of light shone like a red sun, and Noland felt his field of vision filled with Radiance.

When the light dissipated and his vision cleared, he found himself back in the Stone Passage he had been in before.

Noland’s ability to cast spells was restored.

He activated Mental Magic and contacted Nolin.

Upon receiving the command, Nolin hurriedly threw “Mind Control” at the Mechanos beside Noland, creating an all-encompassing protection network for it.

While Nolin was busy, Noland took out Magic Scrolls and Elixirs, applying magical items with healing effects on himself, reversing the deterioration of his flesh.

Meanwhile, Nolin exclaimed:

“Sir! You’ve finally appeared! We’ve been worried sick this past month!”

“A month???”

A long line of question marks popped up in Noland’s mind.

How could a month have passed?

Hadn’t he just spent a little over an hour near the red light orb?

Could it be that time flowed differently near the red light orb compared to the Pollution Zone and the Natural World?

Well…

That must be the case.

Noland steeled his spirit, checked his injuries, and asked in a steady voice:

“Has anything happened this past month?”

“Yes, Sir, a lot has happened,” Nolin started with the key points:

“First is Miss Mabel’s Research Task. She has used the Death Magic Device you supplied to create a Lightning Ghost Puppet.”

“Not bad, smoother than I thought,” Noland said:

“What else?”

“Then, representatives from the Wealth Creation Society brought an invitation, asking for you to visit Goldrush Castle as a guest,” Nolin paused before continuing:

“The representatives from the Co-Creation Council came a total of five times, each without being able to see you. The Bluegold Elder told them to relay a message that your proposal was very apt and has already been accepted by the Pure Light Court. If there are no objections, you can now go to Goldrush Castle to sign the Magic Contract.”

Noland nodded:

“I’ll consider it.”

“The third matter is about the Deep Sea Branch. Lonco wants to purchase the Thundercloud Magic Scroll but was unable to contact you. He got in touch with Denise Green to inquire about your whereabouts. Denise only mentioned that you were in Deep Meditation to heal your spirit and did not mention anything about the Pollution Zone.”

Nolin reviewed the records on the magic access meter:

“Lonco wants to buy ten Thundercloud Scrolls, but each with a Magic Energy intensity of only 10 million points.”

“10 million points? He’s playing a sly game,” Noland laughed.

Wild Magic can increase the power of spells by investing more Magic Energy.
