Chapter 1105: 349. Re-enter the Empire_2

“Buzz—”

A succession of Death Rays surged toward the offspring of the Blood Sun Divine Seal.

“Pfft, pfft, pfft…”

Dense black sparks and bloodstains exploded on the sphere of the offspring.

In its final moment of life, it forcefully hooked the Energy Nodes on the ritual array, adjusting the flow of energy from nearly zero to maximum.

“Buzz, buzz, buzz—”

...

Several more Death Rays were fired.

They bypassed the wilting Blood Sun Seal Descendant, targeting the ritual array behind it, and precisely hit a few inconspicuous parts.

“Crack, crack, crack, crack…”

The ritual array, crafted from alchemical alloys and seemingly indestructible, rapidly cracked under these Death Rays, shattering into several hundred small fragments in the blink of an eye.

“Why do you… know… the critical point of the Array…”

The Blood Sun Seal Descendant wove its last words with characters, followed immediately by a loud explosion and its utter demise.

“Who exactly are you…”

Noland Lee remained silent from beginning to end.

When the system sent information about triggering Passive Deconstruction, Noland Lee had no desire to check it momentarily.

After killing the weakened descendant of the Blood Sun Seal and destroying the ritual array, the space around him started to shake violently.

This wasn’t the earth-shattering tremble of an earthquake, but ripples in space as if something was about to lift a transparent curtain and step out from behind the scenes.

The Pollution Zone was being forcibly closed.

Before this, the ‘Gilence’s Power’ that filled the inside of the spire had already disappeared first.

Noland Lee used [Mage’s Hand] to collect all the Soul Beads that had not yet been used up from the ritual array.

He estimated that these Soul Beads still had at least 300 million points of Soul Energy unused.

Just this income alone could already make Noland Lee a huge profit.

He performed “Death Flight,” emerging from underground to the outside of the tower.

Nolin controlled the Mechanos to meet up.

The Mechanos flew into the Magic Pouch, which Noland Lee quickly grabbed and hung on his waist.

The faint light of a torch emerged, revealing Denise Green’s figure at Noland Lee’s side.

With a flash of fire, the two of them teleported away amidst the ripples and fissures of space.

After they left, in about ten seconds, several figures with trailing flying tail flames hastened upward from the Floating Island below, arriving at the black spire standing in the center of the top Floating Island.

“The strongest spatial fluctuations are there; the Pollution Zone’s ritual array should be in that direction.”

“The ritual array has been destroyed, the spatial vibrations are evidence.”

“Who got ahead of us and destroyed the ritual array? Was it a Sanctuary Alchemist from the Golden Federation?”

A few wizards from the Pure Light Court floated in the air, looking at each other in bewilderment.

Far across from them, the wizards from Hotams looked equally confused.

Before the two groups could meet to discuss, the scene of the Pollution Zone vanished abruptly.

In an instant, instead of the Purple Silicon Expanse of the Silicon Giant, the Light Wizards saw nothing but the pitch-black Fissure Corridor in front of them.

“Captain, could it be the person who wrote that mysterious text who forcibly closed the Pollution Zone?”

Bella approached her uncle Yass to ask.

Yass looked displeased, seemingly irritated by the mysterious person’s act of closing the Pollution Zone.

He waved his arm, leading the team upward in flight.

Elsewhere, about 80 kilometers south of Union City.

The figures of Noland Lee and Denise Green appeared in a flicker of flame.

Without pause, the two cast Illusion Magic, concealing their presence, and in an Invisibility State, they flew toward the Blade Mountain Range to the south.

Midway, both received letters from the Lecturer Professor.

Both Professor Erica and Professor Lamp conveyed the same content, related to the closure of the Pollution Zone in Union City.

According to both of them, the closure of the Pollution Zone triggered a strong reaction within the Wizard Council and the Wizard Advancement Association.

Several wizard forces, who had prepared teams but had yet to enter Union City, all wanted to uncover the mysterious individual who closed the Pollution Zone.

Logically, everyone should be pointing the finger at the Alchemy Cathedral ruling the Golden Federation, but the reality was far different.

Based on the information gathered by the Pure Light Court and Hotams, there were many, many Aberrations within the Pollution Zone.

What the Alchemy Cathedral desired most were the Aberrations and the All-purpose metallic powder they produced.

From a benefit standpoint, the Alchemy Cathedral should be the last one wanting the Pollution Zone to close, despite it appearing right underneath Union City.

So who exactly closed the Pollution Zone?

The Wizard Council debated this endlessly.

Noland Lee had no interest in joining them.

All he wanted now was to enter the Tatis Empire and search for traces of the ‘Steel Forest of Mortal World’.

After flying over two hundred kilometers south, the silhouette of the Blade Mountain Range gradually became clear, like a massive shadow under the Dark Night.

Tiny flickering lights shot out from a cave on the north side of the mountains, rather conspicuous in the pitch-black Night.

Noland Lee threw a “Tracking Mark” and “Mind View” toward that place, then swiftly flew over with Denise Green.

The flickering light was actually a Strong Light Lamp, its flashing frequency representing a signal for meeting up.

And the person meeting up with Noland Lee was none other than Morster, who was still acting as the Acting Commander of Division Intelligence Unit Two.

Only now, Morster had transformed from a Third-Ring Metal Element Wizard into a Two-Ring Earth Vein Wizard.

After Hotams closed the Metal Academy, he joined the Pillar of Ley Lines and began to ascend anew from the beginning.
