On this Saturday morning, Lanci and Sigrid’s date began with a visit to the Sky Garden in the South District of Herram.

At lunchtime, they leisurely headed to the Herserun Restaurant located on the Fourth Avenue. Its appearance achieved a perfect balance between grandeur and mystery.

The Gothic architectural style intertwined with the magical craftsmanship of its curtain wall. Stepping into the restaurant, they were enveloped by an atmosphere of luxury and artistry. There were scores of immortal crystal lamps hanging under the high ceilings, and the interior was decorated with maroon and gold tones. The long tables were covered with soft satin and set with invisible cutlery that only changes color upon contact with the user’s Magic Power.

Herserun Restaurant was famous for its unique dishes which combined the cuisine of the Northern Continent and the distinctive flavors of Herram.

Customers from all corners of the Protoss Empire frequented the restaurant, including high-ranking government officials, renowned explorers, and some mysterious mixed-race people.

It was their perfect place for important negotiations, food lovers, or simple socializing.

Even the Cat boss couldn’t resist frequenting, one of the restaurant’s features was its dishes imbued with special alchemical magic, such as amplifying one’s attributes temporarily or providing illusionary experiences. A pity the Cat boss couldn’t learn it.

In the afternoon, the two explored the art district in the center of Herram city.

Besides the shopping area, the place exuded an artistic flair from ancient Protoss with colorful street graffiti and numerous independent art galleries.

They savored afternoon tea and watched the magic performances in the spacious pedestrian square.

Time flew by, and before they knew it, they had finished watching The Herram Evening Show. They left the Herram Broadcasting Company’s building, had dinner, and strolled towards the nearby Starry Sky Theatre.

The night sky here seemed magnified by magic, the stars seemingly within reach.

"Time flies. It’s already dark out."

Sigrid looked up at the deep blue sky, wondering if there was something wrong with the sky.

But she also knew—

The day was coming to an end.

Every wonderful day always goes by quickly.

Looking back on the month they spent together back and forth in the north, it seemed that they spent every day together, just haven’t noticed that each day was exceptionally wonderful.

"Is there somewhere else you’d like to go?"

Lanci asked with a composed smile.

He was always calm and collected, especially so after the conclusion of the Bishop’s election day.

"I’ve heard there’s an old district in Herram that might teleport people to random places. Those with bad luck might get teleported straight into the Magic Power River."

Sigrid thought for a moment, stared intently at Lanci, and said.

"That sounds quite dangerous."

Lanci recalled that old district.

The first time he came to Herram, his student Zestira had warned him that the somewhat distorted-looking old district was very dangerous and not to enter it carelessly.

Its spatial structure was actually different from the outside world, like a multi-dimensional intersection. Once you step into it, you could potentially arrive at any location in Herram.

"Actually, it’s not that bad, not as dangerous as it sounds because the teleportation distance isn’t that far. Also, some people who walked in a circle inside did not trigger the teleport function."

Sigrid explained to Lanci,

"However, I’ve heard that if two people are holding hands, they’ll be teleported to the same place."

She softly added another line after finishing her sentence.

"..."

Lanci walked ahead in contemplation.

"What do you think?"

Sigrid spoke and subtly bumped Lanci with her shoulder, stealing glances at him from the corner of her eye.

Then, Lanci stopped.

"Then you have to hold on tight to me, you mustn’t let go."

Lanci extended his hand towards Sigrid.

"...Huh?"

Sigrid was taken aback for a moment. She hadn’t expected the Saint Heir to be so straightforward.

Even just holding onto the hem of his shirt would do.

Just like before at the Northern Tundra during the dark dawn when they were intercepted by the Saint of Nirvana, she could just tightly grip the cuff of his shirt.

"Aren’t lines like this typically said by the girl? You’re so cheeky, Saint Heir!"

Sigrid grinned, grabbed Lanci’s hand tightly, and led him forward happily even though they still had some distance from the old district.

But once Sigrid held his hand, she didn’t let go, and they journeyed together to the entrance of the district.

The streets were narrow and rugged, looking like mountain paths from afar.

On both sides were ancient stone buildings, and the street lamps cast a faint light, flickering in the night.

They held hands, exploring this rarely visited attraction.

Without the ambiance of crowds, loneliness filled the cluster of buildings.

In the dim light, the shadows of the benches on the streets were elongated, and their figures danced on the walls.

"Are you scared? If you’re scared, you can squeeze my hand a little tighter."

Sigrid looked back at Lanci, her smiling eyes full of small trials.

The bright purple in her eyes seemed especially clear under the moonlight.

"I’m not scared."

Lanci’s voice was calm.

This district, different from the hustle and bustle outside, was now surrounded by only their conversations gently rippling through the air.

"Tsk."

Sigrid gave him a disappointed tug, pulling him a bit closer as she continued on.

As she turned to walk forward again, her hair was swirling in the air. Lanci, still held by her, followed her.
