The seer and the merchant are weak, so they are not good at fighting. It is the job of the assassin, traveler, and giantess to fight and rob.

But most of the time, all that is needed is for the assassin to take action. Once the assassin ambushes someone, it will be very difficult for them to escape. Even if they manage to escape, they won't be able to escape the giantess, who is very strong, and the traveler, who is very fast.

Legion's presence didn't change much in the way they operated. But he was able to help them acquire more accurate information, which they can use for their ambushes.

Legion watched the robbery of someone. The merchant was able to identify if there were formations and dangerous objects around the house by evaluating everything he saw.

The traveler was able to find the specific danger with his Seeking Danger ability, while the seer was able to identify how many people were in the house using her See Through ability.

Legion told her where to look so she was able to find everyone in the house and also understand the layout of the building without entering it. When they had collected enough information, they positioned themselves at the entry and exit points of the house.

Both the giant and traveler stood at the exit while the merchant and seeker hid at the entry. The assassin then cloaked himself and went into the building through the window.

Black already had information from the seer, but Legion's assistance in communicating with him came in handy.

While he was in the building, Amelia was still using her See Through ability and was relaying the information she had to Legion. Legion then passed that information to Black Knife. This was something they couldn't do before.

Black Knife was cloaked with darkness, so it was easy for him to meld into the perpetually dark world. He was also silent, so it was very difficult to notice him without extraordinary perception.

The Assassin's rank 2 ability is Shadow Boost. It is an ability that enhances the physical prowess of assassins when they are surrounded by darkness. This ability is why the rank 3 assassin is faster than a rank 2 traveler.

A rank 3 assassin is very fast normally. With Shadow Boost, they can become as fast as a normal rank 4 godclad. That is very fast. Yet, it is only barely enough to be faster than a rank 2 traveler and be stronger than a rank 2 giant.

When Legion thought of this, they remembered the good old days when they were assassins in their future. But they didn't let this distract them from their mission.

The assassin sneaked up to people and stabbed them with his rank 3 divine ability called Shadow Blade. Assassins rarely use weapons because flesh is very vulnerable against the black blade made of pure darkness.

Shadow Blade is useless against inorganic matter like armor but it is lethal against living flesh. Once a Shadow Blade meets flesh, it cuts and corrodes it quickly.

The injury caused by the Shadow Blade is difficult to heal. It will fester and rot. Then it will spread to other parts of the body as if caused by poison. Then the person will die in pain and agony.

But most people don't have to worry about that because they usually lose their heads and hearts with the first round of attack and die shortly after.

Black Blade killed silently and quickly. Then he moved on to the next target and killed them too.

Only he was enough to clear out a house. Then the rest of the gang went in to clear the building of its valuables. Nothing valuable could escape them because of the merchant they had with them.

Legion stayed outside and out of sight. They thought that Black Blade and their other four fingers did well. What made them extra happy was that half of what the crew earned was automatically theirs.

50% is automatically theirs because they said so. The remaining 50% isn't theirs yet because they haven't said so. They didn't lay claim to the rest because they didn't need it and because they didn't want to make their slaves desperate for freedom yet.

After the robbery was completed, the five of them transported the goods home while Legion went home with their 500 liters of energy water.

They had made the Five Fingers place the kegs of energy water in an abandoned house. After making sure that the crew had gone home, they returned to the abandoned house and began moving the kegs home.

Each keg could hold 50 liters of energy water. Energy water is denser than normal water. It is 10% denser, so 50 liters weigh 55 kilograms.

They carried two kegs at a time, making a total of 100 liters and 110 kilograms. So they had to make five trips before they could finish carrying everything.

It was a tiring job, but they only had smiles on their faces during the process of moving the kegs. But still, they were looking forward to when they would grow stronger and be able to use their slaves for anything without much fear.

The kegs of energy water will make that time come sooner, so they were full of anticipation when they made the last trip and went home. Unfortunately, he couldn't spend all the time he wanted holed up in the house practicing because he had a shift at the prison.

It was a nuisance, but he had a solution for it. He simply took a small keg of 5 liters of energy water with him to his shift.

He didn't take the normal entrance into the base this time around. He took one of the tunnel entrances that led directly to the first underground floor.

The entrance was in the basement of a house. To reach the basement, he didn't need to go into the house itself. There was an entrance into the basement at the back of the house.
