Shen Roujia understood that this resilience was something embedded deep in their bones, a kind of inner strength.

With that, Shen Roujia turned and left.
Later that night, a rustling sound came from outside. Tu Lie was still standing outside, feeling the breeze, when Shen Roujia walked out, draped in a cloak.
“Big Brother, why aren’t you resting so late at night?”
Before she could finish, Tu Lie replied in a hoarse voice, “I never thought she would deceive me. I’m sorry.”

Shen Roujia could clearly see Tu Lie’s current state—he was caught in a deep internal struggle. She couldn’t ignore this, and it was impossible for her not to notice.
Just as she was about to say something more, the rustling in the bushes grew louder, the same sound Shen Roujia had noticed earlier.
Both Shen Roujia and Tu Lie noticed it at the same time.
“What is that...”
Shen Roujia saw a few glimmering green lights and her eyes lit up. “It’s the little ones...”
