Chapter 668 -553: Godhood is the Atomic Nucleus, Domain is the Probability Cloud!

While Harrov and his allies were engaged in battle in the Northern Valley, inside Lord Ser City, Lynn’s promotion ceremony had also reached a crucial moment.

As the scope of the domain expanded increasingly, Lynn found himself feeling more and more powerless in controlling the internal elements.

It was hopeless—the continent was just too vast, covering over ten million square kilometers. Even with the augmented computing power of the magic network, it was impossible to control every element within the domain.

In fact, when the domain expanded to encompass the entire empire, he had lost even the most basic sensing abilities.

Lynn realized that he had reached his limit!

Indeed, even with the enhancement of the magic network, thinking of transforming the entire planet into a divine domain with the power of a seventh-ring legendary wizard was nothing but a fanciful dream.

Even Eira, who possessed divine attributes, had to establish a church and spend hundreds of years accumulating power to achieve this.

Thinking of this, Lynn sighed deeply, but quickly adjusted his mindset, as such an outcome had been anticipated.

The method he envisioned for his promotion did not require such an extent…

Lynn slowly closed his eyes, initiating the most crucial and dangerous phase of the ceremony, the transition from a lower dimension to a higher dimension!

There were three mediums in total; the first one being the quantum brain or divine attribute, the second was microscopic particles, and the third was the soul!

The first step he needed to take was to fully integrate his soul into the Energy Body and Magic Body, then quantize it!

To reconstruct his own life form from the microscopic level!

Using the soul to permeate magic and elements, and embedding his will into them was not a novel idea; creating a magic avatar required similar techniques.

For this, Lynn was already adept, but whereas previously he had only used a fraction of his soul’s power as an avatar, this time it involved the complete ‘dismemberment’ of the entire Spiritual Body. The difficulty was incomparable, and a single misstep could result in the scattering of his soul.

However, having come this far, it was too late for regrets, fear or retreat. Success was the only viable path!

In his contemplation, Lynn’s body vibrated like ripples, then the oscillations grew more intense, his solid flesh began to disintegrate, transforming from physical substances to basic elements, then became pure energy, and finally burst apart!

Along with this burst, his soul, now fully merged with the Energy Body, also disintegrated.

In a matter of seconds, Lynn’s body and soul had vanished from this world.

Without a brain, how could one think; without a soul, how could memories persist—that was an issue worth pondering.

From a low-dimensional perspective, he was already dead, Lynn’s consciousness gradually dissipated. But from a higher-dimensional perspective, the situation was quite the opposite. His soul and body were coalescing in a bizarre form.

He was transforming himself into a unique atom; the domain was the range of the probability cloud, the soul was the most mysterious and unpredictable electron, and the divine attribute was the nucleus that binds the electron.

With the support of the divine attribute and the expanded domain, everything within the Magic Domain appeared before Lynn…a blade of grass, a piece of wood, a cloud, a drop of water, the existence and trajectories of all things were encompassed within his consciousness.

He became a breeze gently blowing across the wheat fields and followed the artillery shells as they plunged into the army of the undead.

In that instant, a mass of information overwhelmed his consciousness.

In the Northern Valley, blocking the Undead Sea, Harrov and his allies vaguely sensed this subtle change.

Somewhere within the elements they controlled, it felt as though something had been added; it seemed like an illusion, as spellcasting still functioned normally.

Could it be that the promotion ceremony had succeeded?

Harrov and the others exchanged glances, suddenly guessing this might be the case. However, according to what Lynn had previously mentioned, the ceremony was supposed to last about a week, and it had only been about five days so far.

Moreover, if it had really succeeded, Lynn could have reached the frontline instantly.

The uncertainty in their minds persisted for only a few seconds, as Harrov and his colleagues had no time to dwell on this matter any longer.

The nuclear explosion they had sent into the foreign territory days earlier had not granted them any respite; the undead surged out of the Space-Time Gate once more, as relentless as if they were invincible, despite the residual heat and radiation from the explosion.

Some Screaming Demons even dissolved grotesquely from the heat the moment they rushed out of the Space-Time Gate, yet they still launched themselves forward as if mad.

In the past few days, they had repelled wave after wave of the enemy’s attacks, and at its most perilous, three legendary beings along with hundreds of skeletal dragons emerged from the Space-Time Gate, exactly when they had just fired a Sun Flame Cannon!

Only by intervening personally were Harrov and his companions able to stabilize the situation.

Although everything had gone relatively smoothly so far, with the kingdom’s forces successfully keeping these undead confined within the valley, a deep unease began to stir within them.

There must have been something overlooked…

After all, the enemy must have realized that such an attack would not be enough to break through their defenses, yet they continued to adopt this unchanging, aggressive approach.

Could it really be that they intended to exhaust their supplies of ammunition and energy?

Vittorio furrowed his brows deeply, pondering this, but quickly, as if sensing something, his expression suddenly changed. The electromagnetic cannon, originally aimed at a bone dragon, abruptly shifted its position and nearly hit an airship in the sky.

“What’s wrong, Speaker Vittorio?” Aurora immediately turned to look at Vittorio beside her, asking in bewilderment.

Harrov and Anthony also noticed the change in his expression. With the legendary Wizard’s computing power, there shouldn’t be a scenario of missing the target.

“The Space-Time Gate, the one near the capital has been tampered with!” Vittorio said urgently.

Upon hearing this, a chill arose involuntarily on the backs of everyone present.

This was undoubtedly their greatest concern!

After all, to cope with this interdimensional war, they had concentrated most of the kingdom’s power in the Northern Valley, as this was the only way to have a chance of victory. The forces left guarding the other Space-Time Gates were extremely weak, likely incapable of resisting the intrusion of the undead legions.

“What’s the situation over there now? Has any message come through? How many do we need to send for support?” Aurora quickly asked.

Vittorio shook his head, he had not yet received any communication through electromagnetic waves, although the messages, conveyed at the speed of light, should have arrived by now.

To save or not to save, and how much force was needed for the rescue were clearly issues worthy of deep consideration.

Because it was highly likely that it was merely a feint attack there, and if they diverted too much force, their defenses here would collapse in the blink of an eye. However, if too few went to support, the situation would be equally severe, meaning that a large number of kingdom cities would fall and turn into paradises for the undead.

Harrov faced this tough decision.

“Leave this place to me; with fifteen Sun Flame Cannons and hundreds of thousands of kingdom soldiers here, holding off this side should not be a problem,” Vittorio was the first to speak up, believing that the offensive here was surely just a diversion, or else the previous assaults would have been more fierce.

“Alright! Since that’s the case, let Lydia, Anthony, and I go over — that’ll be enough!” Harrov quickly made a decision. Now was not the time for indecision, and redeploying troops from the Northern Valley back to the capital was somewhat impractical, even by train they couldn’t make it in time.

“Then let Lydia go and support them first, her speed is the fastest among us!” Anthony suggested.

After a brief discussion, Harrov and others could hardly wait and transformed into streaks of light, vanishing into the sky.

In the sky, Lydia, who was in battle, also received the communication. She immediately turned her machine body and flew towards the capital.

Just twenty kilometers from the kingdom, inside a mine, under the astonished gazes of a crowd of Wizards and guards, the rune lock blocking the space-time node burst open in just two seconds.

Immediately following, a massive dragon head emerged from the Space-Time Gate, exhaling a breath of icy frost. The incoming bullets and the terrified soldiers instantly turned into ice sculptures.

As the Space-Time Gate expanded, the body of the Winter Dragon Wallock completely emerged within the mine, followed by a surge of elite undead beasts pouring out from the gate.

“Quick, get the electromagnetic cannon operational! We cannot let them break through here!” the great Wizard Garwin shouted in dread, attempting to use electromagnetic wave communication to send out news of this invasion.

However, the entire mine was within the enemy’s domain, making it impossible to transmit communication waves.

“Damn it!” Garwin cursed, but in the next moment, his whole body stiffened, falling to the ground stiff as a board, lifeless.

This was precisely the legendary undead art of “Life Drain”!

It could instantly kill any non-legendary beings not under the protection of Divine Arts!

Wallock happily swallowed the souls of all living beings present in one gulp.

“Wallock, you fool!” the recently emerged “Great Lich” Cecil was very irritated, the spellcaster before him clearly seemed to be a leader with probably a lot of information. He was hoping to extract memories from him which would undoubtedly provide a lot of information about the Moon God, but it was intercepted by Wallock’s Realm of the Dead.

“That’s my prey, I’ll manage it however I want, Cecil!” Wallock retorted, his wounds from a previous ordeal in another realm had not completely healed, and he needed some sufficiently strong souls to recover, how could he let go of such a favorable target now.

However, Walock also knew that if they won this divine war, Cecil would leap to legendary status; surely he didn’t want to end up unclearly dead like that great demon. So, he spoke again, “Let me give you some good news, Cecil, their souls are not protected by any gods!”

This was not outside of Cecil’s expectations, but he also sensed that the elements in the void seemed to be infused with some kind of force.

It was likely due to their invasion, that the Moon God was starting to take desperate measures, attempting to completely control this world before the arrival of the Lord of the Undead.

“It seems we also need to hasten our actions,” Cecil said, raising his entirely bony hand. All the fallen beings stood up again, but without souls, their gazes were hollow, merely walking corpses.
