"Why is she so damn cool?" Rain asked while watching Kei getting up without showing any emotion on her face.

Rain could understand now how Reca lost to his little sister… Rain and Roan trained them to become mages and healers who would stay away from danger, and others would do their best to protect them because their magic abilities were unrivaled. Still, by doing so, it looked like they buried their martial talent as well.

Rain thought that he would have the upper hand against most people, even without magic. Still, the same logic probably didn't apply to the current Kei… such was her skill and talent.

In the end, Rain took a deep breath and then made up his mind… he wasn't going to win like that if he kept maintaining his half-assed mindset. Although he opened his arms a bit, they were tense, as if Rain was gathering strength in them. When Kei watched that, a small smile escaped her lips, but only for a moment… she soon charged at Rain once again.

Kei raised her posture a bit and began to trade blows with Rain… she changed her posture from one to speed to another of sheer power. The arena was enveloped in thunderous impacts as Rain and Kei engaged in a fierce exchange of blows. The sound echoed through the entire area, leaving spectators in awe of the intensity of their confrontation.

What caught everyone by surprise was the weight behind each strike. Despite the fact that Rain and Kei were trading blows with open hands, their palms collided with a level of power that seemed even heavier than punches.

The reason for the surprising force lay in the combination of their exceptional martial skill and the controlled release of energy within each strike. Rain and Kei had honed their techniques to channel strength not just through their fists but through the entire surface of their palms.

This allowed them to unleash a force that transcended conventional hand-to-hand combat, creating shockwaves that reverberated through the arena.

The speed and precision of their movements reached a level where the human eye could barely follow, adding an element of mystery to their battle. The quakes produced by their clashes added an exciting intensity to the atmosphere, making the audience feel the excitement coursing through the air.

The siblings' mastery of martial arts and their unique approach to combat turned the arena into a stage for an extraordinary display of skill and power, leaving everyone captivated by the enthralling battle happening before them.

"A bear stance?" Rain thought. "In that case…"

Fighting on equal footing was nice and all, but letting his pride take over and lead him to his defeat wouldn't be nice at all against his little sister. He had another type of pride, the type of being his undefeated and cool big brother, and Rain was willing to do anything to keep that pride safe.

All of a sudden, Rain spun both of his arms, and that granted him some extra heaviness on the next blows… Kei's arms were pushed backward, and her stance broke… in the next moment, Rain lowered his stance and then used a leg sweep to hit Kei's left angle, and she groaned in pain thanks to the impact.

Although he didn't feel any bone breaking, Rain could tell that it had been effective… Kei took a step backward to protect that heel, and she flinched when it touched the ground once more.

Without thinking twice, Rain charged in with a body slam. Kei raised her arms to stop the charge, and that worked, but soon Rain followed that by swinging his right arm like a whip and spinning his body… Kei raised her guard and blocked the attack, but it wasn't over. Rain spun his body three more times and hit her on the same spot three times as well.

Kei groaned in pain as the damage accumulated on a single spot, but she didn't have time to think. Rain was far from done… Rain was no longer holding back. While the audience could see his attacks, the transparency didn't diminish their impact; on the contrary, Rain's focus on attacking with all his might made each move more formidable.

In a relentless sequence, Rain punched through Kei's guard with insane force, catching her off guard. Without giving her a chance to recover, he seamlessly transitioned into a powerful kick aimed at her left side, further exploiting the vulnerabilities in her defense. Kei, struggling to regain her composure, found herself facing an endless onslaught.

The pace of Rain's attacks quickened as he executed a lightning-fast palm strike to her back. Kei, barely able to react in time, managed to block the strike, but the impact resonated through her body. The fluidity and precision with which Rain combined his punches, kicks, and palm strikes were nothing short of astounding.

The audience watched in disbelief at how seamlessly Rain orchestrated this intense sequence, showcasing not only his physical prowess but also his strategic mind in exploiting Kei's weaknesses.

"First sequence, second sequence… third sequence," Rain thought. "Ah, I messed up here."

Rain was determined to create an unpredictable and diverse fighting style, one that blended various attacks seamlessly, and he showed that in his relentless assault against Kei. However, realizing the complexity of such an ambition, he began by formulating specific sequences of three attacks that complemented each other flawlessly.

Each combination was meticulously designed to catch his opponent off guard and create a relentless flow of offensive maneuvers.

A right straight, followed by a crescent kick and then a liver blow… even something as simple as three consecutive hooks. Rain used that kind of combination.

As the battle raged on, Rain unleashed a myriad of these triad attack sequences upon Kei. The effectiveness of these combinations lies not only in their individual strength but also in the difficulty of predicting the next move. Rain aimed to keep his sister on her toes, unable to anticipate the nature or direction of his next attack.
