Chapter 1015: Chapter 1015: Sword Demon Attacks

The surveillance on the Bronze Sparrow Terrace is extensive and far-reaching.

As the place where Aron Jackson settled down, the security measures are quite robust.

Especially recently, with the turmoil in Gonzalez City, the guard force at the Bronze Sparrow Terrace has doubled.

Even in the shadows, there are many of Aron Jackson’s employees disguised as merchants.

Soon, the surveillance footage was retrieved.

Julius Reed directly brought out his laptop in front of Aron Jackson’s bed and inserted the USB drive.

A total of sixteen cameras, leaving no blind spots, were trained on the entrance of the Bronze Sparrow Terrace.

When the footage began, the black sedan had already stopped.

There were six employees standing around.

One of them opened the car door, and Aron Jackson alighted from the back seat.

Without any delay, he walked straight into the Bronze Sparrow Terrace.

Immediately after, the scene at the entrance was shown.

Not ten steps after Aron Jackson entered, his figure stumbled and he fell to the ground.

What followed was chaotic imagery.

Many people started bustling about, panicking and in disarray.

Seeing this, Julius Reed placed his finger on the trackpad and gently scrolled backwards.

The footage returned to the start once more.

Back to when Aron Jackson got out of the car.

Suddenly, a bald head darted out from the crowd!

The bald man stopped less than a dozen meters from Aron Jackson.

When Aron Jackson alighted, the bald man’s mouth moved.

He then disappeared.

The footage advanced once again!

The surveillance cameras used by the Bronze Sparrow Terrace were the most expensive and rendered excellent quality.

Even after greatly magnifying the image, the bald man’s face was still clear.

"Three minutes, I want his information!"

Julius Reed looked coldly at the bald man on the screen.

The poisoner, it should be him.

"One minute."

Cosmo turned the laptop around and her hands flew rapidly over the computer as she worked.

She was the Empress of the martial world, with her own channels of information.

At fifty seconds, the laptop was turned back around.

The screen displayed the bald man’s information.

Crystal clear.

"Jensen Cook!"

Julius Reed chuckled lightly, "A snake charmer from Abernathy daring to act audaciously in my presence!"

The information on the screen was detailed.

"Has your boss had any recent conflicts with people from Abernathy?"

He pointed to the screen, asking the employee behind him.

"Aron Jackson has been keeping a low profile lately, avoiding any conflicts. As for Abernathy, I have no recollection at all."

The employee scratched his head, unable to remember.

"Then this is a bit strange. The Poison King of Abernathy travels a long distance to Gonzalez City, is it just for fun?"

With that, Julius Reed pulled out his mobile phone and called Templeton Lena.

When he was at Five-state International, Templeton Lena mentioned that Jensen Cook had come to Gonzalez City.

Presumably, he should know a bit more.

"Mad Dragon!"

The voice of Templeton Lena came through the phone.

"Do you know the purpose of Jensen Cook’s visit to Gonzalez City? My friend has been severely poisoned, and it was this bald man’s doing."

Julius Reed looked at Aron Jackson’s increasingly darkening face, his brow involuntarily furrowed.

This poison, he could cure, but it was likely to leave side effects.

After all, he wasn’t a doctor, and he hadn’t researched poisons in many years.

He didn’t want to risk it unless absolutely necessary.

If he failed...

"Mad Dragon, did you not know he came to kill you?"

On the other end of the call, Templeton Lena was clearly taken aback.

"Kill me? Why would I know that!"

Julius Reed was equally stunned.

"You killed his two sons and you’re not acknowledging it?"

Templeton Lena was somewhat puzzled.

"Lennon Cook, Marvin Cook?" 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝘣.𝘤𝘰𝑚

Julius Reed was surprised.

"Yes, didn’t you know?"

Templeton Lena felt a headache coming on; he thought that upon hearing the name Jensen Cook, Mad Dragon would guess the other’s intentions.

"How would I know that."

Julius Reed was annoyed, "Where is he? I need to get the antidote."

The poison in Aron Jackson, only Jensen Cook could cure.

The one who tied the bell must untie it.

The Poison King of Abernathy indeed did have some tricks up his sleeve.

At least this poison would cause Julius Reed some hesitation.

"He’s following Horton Moore to Five-state International to kidnap the lady."

As Templeton Lena spoke, he explained, "Venassa Pine has already led people over, so I didn’t notify you."

"Luring the tiger away from the mountain!"

Julius Reed suddenly realized he had been tricked.

"No. Because by your side, there is an even more formidable opponent."

Templeton Lena suddenly spoke up.

"Why are you only saying this now?"

Julius Reed didn’t understand what Templeton Lena was doing.

"Because I just saw!"

Templeton Lena lowered his voice, "I was coming to find you, but at the entrance, I encountered a swordsman who is very skilled with the blade. He’s already rushed into the Bronze Sparrow Platform, and I’m following behind him."

"A master swordsman?"

Julius Reed hung up the phone and directly pushed open the door.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Several sounds of hidden weapons came from the door.

But quickly, several bodies lay on the ground.

At the main entrance of the Bronze Sparrow Platform stood a swordsman dressed in a black robe.

Sensing Julius Reed’s gaze, the swordsman slowly lifted his head.

Eyes met eyes.

"We meet again."

A smile played on Nathanael Warm’s lips, and in the blink of an eye, he appeared in front of Julius Reed.

"You’ve improved considerably."

Julius Reed nodded, "Your aura is filled with a murderous intent, not befitting the Chandler Swordsman. At least now, you don’t deserve the title of ’swordsman of honor’."

The two stood less than three meters apart.

He could clearly sense the change in Nathanael Warm.

The change in his aura.

There are many types of swordsmen.

But the one in front of him was exuding a murderous scent!

The scent of bloodlust!

"Because of you, I’ve fallen into the Demon Way."

Nathanael Warm’s right hand rested on the hilt of his sword, looking at Julius Reed with a smirk, "Shall we settle this here, or should we find another place?"

"A sword demon? Don’t you know that once you enter the Demon Way, both your body and mind will be destroyed?"

Julius Reed, hands clasped behind his back, looked at Nathanael Warm, "Since ancient times, those who walk the Demon Way have faced terrible ends."

The intent to kill turns into an aura of death.

That clings to you day and night.

A violent temperament, coupled with a thirst for blood, inflicts great damage on one’s psyche and physique.

Entering the Demon Way turns a person into a killing machine!

To live is to kill.

If this persists, in the end, one becomes deranged!

Personality changes dramatically, leading to the loss of rationality.

And then, one waits for death.

"If it means I can kill you, what do I care if I go to hell?"

Nathanael Warm’s face remained impassive, with only a sinister smile.

"Because of Jennifer Lopez?" Julius Reed shook his head, looking at him with a pitying gaze, "Isn’t living good?"

"I live only to kill you."

Swish!

Nathanael Warm swiftly drew his sword!

Thump!

Templeton Lena fell straight to the ground, grimacing in pain.

He had hoped to launch a surprise attack while the two were talking!

But, unexpectedly, he was once again defeated.

"You go protect Quella Radcliffe, leave this to me," Julius Reed said with rare solemnity, "If anything happens to Quella Radcliffe, don’t bother coming back."

"Understood!"

Templeton Lena got up from the ground and quickly vanished from the Bronze Sparrow Platform.

In the corridor, once again, only the two were left.

"A hundred and fifty years ago, I killed a sword demon," said Julius Reed, as he once again spoke, a Longsword had appeared in his hand.

"Everyone dies. I will die, and so will you."

Nathanael Warm sheathed his sword and turned to walk towards the door.

"Atop the roof, you and I shall decide who is superior."

"Very well, I, too, would like to see how much power Nathanael Warm, who has fallen into the Demon Way, really possesses!"

Swish!

Julius Reed transformed into a blur, shooting out of the Bronze Sparrow Platform!

Then, he sprinted along the wall!

Leaping up to the ninth floor rooftop!

The next moment.

The blood-red gleam flew towards him!

Nathanael Warm, sword unsheathed!
