—Boom

On the streets of duan city, two figures could be noticed furiously chasing after an old sickly man with a throbbing injury in his abdomen.

Normally this scene would be largely frowned upon by citizens of duan city. But the sight of the old man speeding through the streets like a breeze caught them off guard.

But not as much as how caught off guard they were of the 7 foot tall monster with something like a wheel hovering over his back chasing the old man.

"What’s was that?"

"Am I seeing things ?"

"THAT..."

Wherever they passed by, people were shocked beyond belief. But they were just to fast and no one was able to convince themselves what had just happened.

"Elongateee" from behind Leon threw his twilight feng forward with all his might, making it flash forward with Incredible speed and peirce the side of a building.

Leon then pulled himself forward with it as support and flashed forward passing the sorcerer.

"Hm?" The breeze from Leon’s silhouette flashing past the sorcerer caused him to frown. But before he knew it.

"BloodSerpent work: Blood projectiles."

Constructs made from blood came flying down at him from the sky with incredible speed.

"fuck!!!" The sorcerer screamed and jumped backwards dodging the projectiles by a hairs breath. But Just as he did so.....

—wooo

—bang!!!

Leon’s kaga puppet appeared behind the sorcerer and threw a heavy punch out.

—Boom!!!

There was no single room for rest

The kaga puppet was powerful, holding the strength equivalent to that of a peak level 3 warlock. The drop in strength was due to Leon’s dabbling.

Even though it wasn’t as powerful as when it was when it was solely the faystone ancestor, it was still powerful plus the added potential from being bathed in negative energy.

(This strength.....and the corrosion)

After barely dodging the attack The sorcerer couldn’t help but admire Leon’s work. The faystone ancestor was his natural enemy so he couldn’t really defeat him with the use of soul energy. Coupled with the corrosion of negative energy, its only available weakeness. Leon had created something unstoppable.

(I can only go there and hope to lose him)

The sorcerer was sick of everything happening today. What started out as an awesome experience had completely turned on its head and almost killed him twice.

—woosh

The sorcerer took a turn and dashed into an alleyway.

And once again Leon followed him. They fought, all over the center of duan city.....but because of how weak the Sorcerer was right now and the previous damage done to the city, it wasn’t as noticeable.

"Hmm? Why this place again?"

Soon the sorcerer jumped over a fence and entered a familiar household.

The faystone household.

Earlier today, the entire faystone family guard had been decimated by Leon and his team with the help of the sorcerer. Now they were here again to cause more havoc.

"Where are you going old Demon?!!!"

"Don’t run away!!!"

Leon followed the sorcerer and mocked him on the way. The sorcerer was basically in his hands now, today he would definitely die and running away was just prolonging the envitable.

So Leon followed the sorcerer deeper and deeper into the reaches that was the faystone household. In fact this time, they went deeper into the forest than Leon had ever gone...this sprouted a question in his mind.

How did the sorcerer know this forest so well? It was strange.

After a few minutes of fighting through the forest they arrived before a large expanse of vines and roots extending over a particular area.

This was where the faystone ancestor would usually go into hibernation. Why was the sorcerer coming here?

—Boom

As soon as he reached the area he briefly looked around and found a clearing about 7 foot tall and the shape of the faystone ancestor’s figure.

"There it is" his eyes beamed with delight, then he immediately went through the hole.

(I have to be more careful)

Leon thought to himself while following the sorcerer closely and occasionally throwing spells from the back.

At this point, the sorcerer was completely bloodied with little holes all over his body, but he knew there was nothing he could do.....but if he could get to that place, then everything would be fine.

Slowly, the roots and vines started mixing with the soil and before Leon knew it, they were descending into the ground.

It was an underground tunnel leading to god knows where.

(I little more and ill be home free.)

The sorcerer thought to himself. Actually, he had never gotten this far before into this area. Hundreds of years before, he had tried and failed.....and now that he was so close to succeeding he was being chased.....what he knew was that all he needed was to get to the end of the tunnel. That was all he needed.

But unfortunately, he underestimated how long this tunnel was...After moving for about 30 minutes he fell to the floor exhausted.

"Hehe, you finally give up huh?" Leon slowly approached the sorcerer and said with an evil smile.

The sorcerer had caused him alot of trouble....so much that he couldn’t even start to list them, but most of all the things he had done....the thing that really pissed Leon off was that he had messed with Leon’s soul.

There was nothing Leon hated more than watching his soul being under the mercy of another person.

What happened in his last would never repeat itself ever again.

"Kid, hold on....let’s make a deal" the sorcerer raised his hand forward and pleaded with Leon.

He had lost terribly. From the fight with the faystone ancestor, to that with Damien and finally again with Leon. He was thoroughly exhausted and heavily injured, there was no way he could win against Leon.

Plus with this corpse puppet next to Leon he knew he couldn’t mess with Leon’s soul.

"And why would I make a deal with you?" Leon asked. Even now badurs gate was floating right above the sorcerer’s head.

"I.....enemies are made because of a clash of interest and friends are made because of similar interests....now there’s a massive interest we can both share at the end of this tunnel....."

"I’ve been planning this for years, you can’t do it without me.....you need me we can even take an oath of the soul " the sorcerer explained.

At the end of this tunnel was a treasure beyond treasures. Something so precious that hundreds of men would die to have a glimpse of it.

"Ohhh? A treasure? One that can make even you risk your life? So that’s what all this has been about" Leon rubbed his chin and said.

Benefits!! Leon understood. The reason the sorcerer had gone through all of that scheming, for a hundred years wasn’t because he hated the faystone ancestor.

In fact, he didn’t give a shit about the faystone ancestor, what he wanted was the treasure at the end of this tunnel.

Hundreds of years ago, he and his faceless cult found this tunnel in this location and were made aware of a treasure of untold benefits behind it so he decided to steal the treasure. But due to the betrayal of vlad and his men he was found by the royalty and he was sealed.

vlad was later placed as the guardian of of this place for the role he played in defeating the sorcerer of yonder, so he had to kill vlad first before venturing down this path.

"But what makes you think that I need you?" Leon looked at the sorcerer and asked.

He was already beaten, there was nothing he could do that Leon couldn’t.

"Badur’s gates: chain world"

Leon said and immediately Badur’s Gate opened up and chains descended before pulling him up swiftly.

"Hmmm" watching the sorcerer get imprisoned finally in Badur’s gates, Leon sighed in relief.

He planned to turn the sorcerer into a soul protecting treasure, in Badur’s gates dungeon he would be safe and ready for Leon’s use.

"Let’s see what’s at the end of the tunnel" Leon smiled and began walking forward with his hands behind his back.

Right behind him the kaga puppet followed closely as they descended down the deep dark hole that was this tunnel.

It was long and lonely without a speck of light anywhere in sight, but after about 30 more minutes Leon came to the front of a door chained up with high quality steel.

"Open the door" Leon said before stepping aside.

Then the kaga puppet walked forward and...

—Boom!!!

The door was blown apart with a simple punch.

"Wow, is this...." Leon stepped through the door area and his eyes widened with shock.

Right now, he was in a massive room with elegant paintings and pillars made from the purest jade. The ground was tiled with white impeccable stones.

It was the peak of elegance in duan city.

That’s right, Leon had unknownly stepped into Duan city’s royal Palace
