'Earth vein flowers

These flowers are capable of absorbing immense amounts of earth mana. It uses this earth mana to grow larger bulbs within the ground that have the potential to remain as plants or become unique monsters if the mana is purified enough.

The processed mana is often much more pure and excess is released when the flowers bloom in mass. This will signify multiple events for monsters, certain races, and the area that the earth vein flowers bloom in. often a feeding period, awakening from dormancy, and even mating times.

These flowers can be used to create various earth affinity healing or affinity potions. Otherwise, the flowers can be used for making intricate earth rune designs on armor by mimicking the petals of each flower.

While some would believe that this flower is more valuable the more petals it has on it, that is only in terms of rune carving and natural rune understanding due to the petals shaping themselves similar to naturally occurring earth runes. For all harvesting, the best time to harvest is when the last of the hundred petals falls off leaving just the central bud behind which had the purest earth mana…"

It wasn't a small and useless field of flowers growing here. It was a massive sign of more to come. The mana that monsters alone could feed on would allow them to bounce back from a period of dormancy that many monsters went through.

The races that might harvest them for materials and general usage like food would also be major. However, Where Walker saw more value was in the bulbs since he had dug one up from a nearby flower that had lost all its petals.

'Earth vein bulb

Things a bulb of an already bloomed earth vein flower. It has dissipated a significant amount of mana and needs to spend another ten years absorbing earth mana to be able to bloom again. During that process it will split in two so it can bloom multiple flowers.

The nutrients within the bulb are high which is ideal for recently awakened or just recently born monsters and races…'

This meant that there would be even more monsters with their young or leaving eggs near here to be born. It would be exceptionally dangerous but also offered a chance for those monsters to travel through the bridge to the world.

That would be a problem.

He'd have to establish guards to either deter or defeat the monsters that come to the world. If he had to handle this, he would also make some turn formations to deter them. That would be harder since they would be temporary rune formations that deter earth mana using wind mana.

This being the foremost worry for Walker kept his mind occupied. However, he eventually realized that telling everyone that there was a large area of temporary resources right outside the bridge to the earth elemental plane might cause problems.

Plenty of tamers alone with earth affinity tamed monsters would wish to come here and harvest whatever they could. Not to mention take the chance to find new and powerful young monsters brought here or hatching here because of the earth vein flowers.

Besides this the general populace might think the risk was small enough to take and go there as well, adventurers might even find themselves with many quests to travel, grab the flowers, and then return. They would not be prepared for the potential dangers here.

With a long sigh, Walker harvested a few more before surveying the area again. With a little mana he was able to make a some of earth around the bridge to the world. It would not deter the majority of earth affinity monsters but it was enough to hide the direct sight of it for now.

Before he had done so though, he'd noticed some figures well away in the distance.

'Sand scale crow

A powerful earthen monster that uses the finest sands to make earth scales over its feathers. While it loses the ability to fly in the air, it gains the ability to move through the earth as if it was flying using the fine sandy scales.

The scales are extremely abrasive and can cut away parts of what touches them. They are also very defensive causing blunt attacks to barely do any damage. The best method to harm the sand scale crow is to use magical attacks which condense more earth mana than the sand scales in the crow's body.

While seemingly smaller, they are a deadly monster that will defend the nests they make to the death. They will protect the eggs they lay until they hatch with everything they have…'

This single all around appraisal was perfect for showing off the dangers of the area right now. While Walker didn't worry about these things, everyone else that came here would have to. Some earth mages might be able to handle them, but even stealth focused individuals would struggle.

Just touching the earth would make vibrations that every earth monster nearby could sense without even needing more than their general instincts. Meaning that any stealth class oriented skills needed to be able to stop vibrations in the earth with their movements.

He'd communicate all of this to everyone. With guards at the entrance to the bridge as well, it would stop many from going. He also trusted that those who would ignore rules would find a way to get there no matter what. Hence why he might have to ask for some of the earth affinity spirit race members to spend time around the area.

The magma and lava pooling here was perfect for the resting dragon who came through when the bridge to the elemental planes opened. For everyone else, it was tougher to survive here. They needed strong affinities for both fire and earth manas mixed to manage their safety.

While walking back he shook his head. Everyone within Genesis was part of those he wished to protect. However, many would still take risks, overestimate their strength, and even break laws. That was just the nature of a society. Not everyone would remain following the perfect ideal methods, that was just life.

When he returned he found a small group of guards with a few more attendants waiting for his report. They had assumed he would not be more than a few hours and they were right.

Once Walker had explained everything, they moved toward the Genesis building leaving Walker a little shocked that he wasn't needed to make his way there. It made him think of what he could do otherwise.

Since he knew the adventurers' guild would get a lot of requests whether they liked it or not, he could warn Clara. This way anyone who took risks and managed it have permission to venture to the bridge would have more than just rules and guards warning them. They would have the guild master themselves.

He also thought about how it had been so long since he'd spoken with Clara. She was always so. It with the entirety of the adventurer's guild and the multito branches that the odds of her having time for even a meal was tough.

She had since made assistants to herself and Barry as he was the vice guild master. Yet, he had been in the Sigil continent establishing branches there in the most developed villages of the angel's territory. That way as they grew they would be perfectly prepared for whatever came to them.

A recent expansion to the main adventurer's guild hall had allowed for the main entrance to accept more people and for there to be more attendants for the guild to manage the larger number of adventurers applying and working every day.

The number of adventurers was so high now that it could be considered one of the primary jobs for people to follow. This was because the adventurers were not limited to just traveling and fighting monsters. Many traveled to take on crafting quests as well.

"Sir Walker, we don't have anything scheduled for meetings with you today. The man who noticed him first looked a bit worried since he was sure they would have heard about a meeting with representatives today.

"I just came to pass on some information and see how Clara is doing. I'm sure she is working too much lately. All of you might be." This relaxed the man before he gestured toward the stairs to the offices.

Many of the higher strength adventurers looked at him knowing who he was while some of the younger and less knowledgeable were curious. But once Walker walked up toward the offices without an escort everyone understood his ranking was higher than the general adventurers. Anyone who didn't need an attendant to go up to the offices was certainly important beyond the average.
