Chapter 93: 93、Character is a bit poor (Second more)_1

“Mommy, it has to be her. Who else would have it in for us three?” An Yu gritted her teeth, a touch of viciousness flickering in her eyes.

“That little slut, she might have hooked Han Yue with that fox-like face of hers.”

Hearing this, Zhao Xuan frowned, “Yuyu, forget about that for now. Do you remember the conditions you promised me when you decided to enter the entertainment industry?”

An Yu was taken aback, then looked into her mother’s unyielding eyes and dutifully said, “I remember. I only have two years to spend in the entertainment industry. After two years, I’m supposed to follow the family arrangements and start working in the company.”

She enjoyed the feeling of being adored by thousands of people. Additionally, her background provided her with a smooth path in the entertainment industry. She was enticed by these advantages, and in order to be a part of the entertainment industry, she had to agree to her mother’s conditions.

Now, with time flying by, not much of those two years are left.

“But…”

“There are no ‘buts’.” While dealing with this issue, Zhao Xuan was always firm. “As I said before, how does it suit an esteemed young lady from the An family like yourself to mix in the entertainment industry? We initially granted you two years to enjoy yourself, but from now on, you must work at your brother’s company.”

An Yu lowered her head, her voice weakened, “I understand.”

She is the flesh of her flesh. She would never want to cause her daughter any pain, but she couldn’t give in when it came to this issue.

“Yuyu, Mommy doesn’t want to force you, but with Jian Qing back, if you don’t toughen up, how will you compete with her in the future? Besides, do you think the Quan family would want an entertainer as their daughter-in-law?”

An Yu felt a pang in her heart after hearing this. She fiercely cut off any remaining reluctance, “Mommy, I understand. I will abide by the agreement. But first, I need to figure out whether it’s really Jian Qing who’s targeting me because I can’t swallow this injustice.”

“Hmm.” Zhao Xuan nodded in satisfaction.

Just as the mother and daughter finished their conversation, Yang Xiang’s voice came from outside. Judging by the tumultuous footsteps, it was clear there were more people arriving.

“Second Aunt.” Yang Xiang and the others came in and greeted Zhao Xuan when they saw her.

“An Yu, I have something to tell you.” Yang Xiang walked straight to An Yu, her face somber.

An Yu asked, “What’s up?”

“Our announcements and resources have been cut. Han Yue gave the order.” Yang Xiang practically gnashed her teeth as she spoke.

An Yu, “How do you know?”

“My sister and I ran into Han Yue at the company this morning.” Yang Xiang explained.

An Yu frowned, “We haven’t had any trouble with Han Yue. Besides, we’ve signed up with his company. How does it benefit him to do this?”

“He said we have offended someone we shouldn’t have.” Yang Lin joined the conversation, her face just as grim.

An Yu was about to say something when she caught sight of the person at the door. Her face darkened instantly.

“Jian Qing, you’ve got some nerve coming back here.” Yang Xiang was like a lit fuse at the sight of Jian Qing.

Jian Qing entered, ignoring Yang Xiang’s hostile gaze. She scanned the room, her grandfather and Uncle Qiu were nowhere in sight.

To the side, Xiang Cheng had been quietly sitting on the couch since he entered. When he saw Jian Qing, a light flashed in his eyes.

“Jian Qing, be honest. Did you mess with things at Han Yue’s?” An Yu abruptly stood up, confronting Jian Qing.

Jian Qing’s eyebrows lifted slightly. Han Yue? 𝑛𝘰𝑣𝘱𝑢𝑏.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Xiaojing’s friend?

“An Yu, don’t bother asking, it must be her. Who else would aim for us three?” Yang Xiang glared at Jian Qing. The air around them was almost explosive.

“Heh!” Jian Qing let out a cold laugh. She looked at them and finally fixed her gaze on Yang Xiang, “With your shitty personality, I’m sure plenty of people would want to take you down. How come you’re so sure it’s me? Is it because I look like an easy target, or what?”

“You… Jian Qing, let me tell you, stop trying to run your mouth.” Yang Xiang was so angry, she could hardly breathe. She was itching to tear Jian Qing’s mouth apart.

Jian Qing smirked and headed straight for the stairs.

“You haven’t finished. Stop.” Yang Xiang’s sharp voice came from behind.

Jian Qing’s eyelids drooped, hiding the fierce glint in her eyes. She sidestepped Yang Xiang’s hand with a swift movement.
