Chapter 101: Chapter 101 Sad kyra
"Don’t cry, Kyra. I can’t bear to see you cry like this. That snake was crazy... shh, my baby. You’re so sweet; how dare he ignore you," Lucas said, hugging her tightly as she put her head on his chest, wetting his clothes with her tears.
He kissed her forehead tenderly.
"Why wasn’t he talking to me? I didn’t do anything wrong! I was just a little careless. Why he stopped talking to me?" Kyra cried.
Lucas patted her back, holding her like he was cradling a baby.
His heart ached seeing her tear-filled face, red cheeks, hazy eyes, and her tight grip on his shoulder.
She started shivering.
"I-ii *Hiccup* Lucas..." Kyra tried to speak, but she started hiccuping.
Lucas pushed her face more against his chest, feeling her cry even more.
"Don’t cry. Don’t cry, although you look beautiful crying, but I can’t see you like this, my love... my cutie pie... my baby... my sweetheart," Lucas whispered sweet nothings in her ears as he swayed her gently.
Because of the climbing down and the whole incident, Kyra was tired, and soon she fell asleep in Lucas’s arms.
Lucas gently carried her to his room, laying her in bed and covering her with a blanket.
He kissed her forehead softly before walking to his cabinet to retrieve a dry cloth. Entering the bathroom, he wetted the cloth slightly and gently wiped her tear-streaked face.
He gritted his teeth as he thought about Vincent. He couldn’t believe Vincent had made Kyra cry on their first day of marriage.
Now, he felt a burning determination that Vincent would pay for making her cry.
He had never seen Kyra cry like this before.
Just the thought of tears falling from her eyes ignited a fierce anger within him towards Vincent.
How dare he make Kyra cry like that?
Kyra must have been scared after almost falling, but instead of trying to calm her down, he had been getting angry and acting silent, making Kyra feel even more upset.
Once he will come back, he wouldn’t let Kyra forgive him so easily.
He would make sure Vincent understood the pain he had caused Kyra and that he would pay for it.

At the same time, Vincent punched a tree, which fell down effortlessly due to his power.
His tail slashed everything that came in his way as he walked deeper into the forest of the mountain.
His eyes were red with anger, a fierce intensity burning within him.
"Growl..." he heard a sound, and his hands itched for a fight as he saw wild beasts appear. His red eyes sparkled in the dark night.
The beast was as big as an elephant, with long sharp canines, big eyes And horns.
It angrily looked at Vincent as it ran towards him, its sharp horn pointed menacingly.
"Growl..." the beast shouted angrily as Vincent effortlessly grabbed its horn.
Vincent’s muscles tensed as he faced the charging beast. With a snarl, he wrestled with the Beast.
The sound of their struggle echoed through the forest as they clashed, each trying to overpower the other.
With a powerful thrust, Vincent managed to throw the beast off balance, sending it crashing to the ground with a thunderous roar.
But the wild beast quickly regained its footing, its eyes burning with rage as it lunged at Vincent once more.
Ducking and weaving, Vincent dodged the beast’s attacks, his movements fluid and precise.
With a swift motion, he delivered a powerful blow to the creature’s side, causing it to stagger back in pain.
But the beast was relentless, its fury driving every move. With a deafening roar, it hurled itself at Vincent, its sharp horns aimed directly at him.
Vincent didn’t take Beast seriously at all.
He simply used his tail to wrap around Beast and threw him into a nearby tree, knocking him unconscious.
Taking a deep breath, Vincent’s eyes glared straight ahead, looking even wilder than the beasts nearby.
They all scattered, sensing his powerful aura.
Vincent’s mind flashed with the image of Kyra falling, which almost caused his heart to stop in sheer panic.
He couldn’t bear the thought of losing her, so he swiftly caught her before she could hit the ground.
His heartbeat raced, and his mind was filled with images of Kyra.
If he tried to speak to her that time, he feared his anger might lead him to say something he’d regret.
His heart clenched as he remembered the tears in Kyra’s eyes.
"It’s because of me she was crying..." he muttered to himself, venting his frustration by punching a nearby tree until his knuckles bled.
Despite the pain, he didn’t care. He knew he had acted impulsively and lost control.
Biting his lip, he recalled the image of Kyra’s happy face before falling and suddenly, regret washed over him.
It wasn’t her fault, and he hadn’t even spoken to her all the way because of his anger.
Was she feeling sad or angry with him? Her sad gaze haunted him.
Without another thought, he turned and swiftly slithered back to the cottage in the Silver Wolf Tribe, his heart pounding in his chest.
He cursed himself for his foolishness.
He should have tried to comfort her, remembering how she had tried to reach out to him all along the way to talk to him.
"I am fu*king so stupid! I hurt her so much..." he muttered as he quickened his pace.
Her sad eyes kept appearing in front of his mind, intensifying his feelings of guilt.
When he reached the cottage, he transformed back into a human and walked slowly.
His eyes froze when he saw Lucas sitting on the stairs of his cottage.
Upon hearing a sound, Lucas raised his head but didn’t say anything or even acknowledge Vincent’s presence.
"Wolf..." Vincent muttered, but Lucas ignored him, focusing on sharpening his claws with a knife.
Vincent attempted to pass by him, but he froze when he heard Lucas speak.
"She fell asleep crying so much, thinking it’s her fault when it’s not..." Lucas said without raising his head.
Vincent clenched his fists as he stared at Lucas.
"She fell asleep crying?" Vincent muttered, a pang of guilt coursing through him.
