Chapter 111: Chapter 111 How Kyra was transported(2)

Kyra giggled as Lucas started licking her with his tongue. She softly rubbed his fluffy head and walked inside with him.

Lucas had already prepared dinner for them, and after eating, they sat together, enjoying each other’s company.

Each day, their bond grew stronger.

Lucas and Vincent had also become more comfortable with each other.

"You haven’t told me everything about you, like how you’re from a different world." Vincent said, sitting on her left side, holding her hands and caressing them slowly.

Lucas, equally curious, added, "And how did you end up here?" He thought that after Kyra shared her story, he would tell her what he saw today. He had already reported the matter to Partrich.

Kyra started remember that day as she started speaking "That day..."

*Flashback*

Kyra sat in a fully white chair in the brightly lit laboratory. The walls gleamed with a sterile sheen, and the air hummed softly with the sound of equipment.

A strange scientist, dressed in a white lab coat and a blue mask covering his face, stood beside her, holding her wrist gently but firmly.

His eyes were expressionless as he carefully inserted a syringe into her wrist.

She could feel the cool touch of the needle and the slight pinch as the scientist drew a sample of her blood.

"You’ve been experiencing pain in your body, right? We’ll quickly check to see if there are any changes." the scientist said as he took another colorless test tube and mixed it with Kyra’s blood right in front of her.

"And what about my periods? When will I have them?" Kyra asked anxiously.

Kyra had heard other girls talk excitedly about periods and their first experiences with them. 𝓃𝓸𝓋𝓅𝓊𝒷.𝓬𝓸𝓂

She, too, wanted to understand and experience this part of growing up.

"And don’t worry, soon you’ll have your periods after you shift into your Beast form." the scientist said, his voice calm yet clinical.

According to him, Kyra’s body was different from other girls’, and she would be fully mature when she could shift.

Kyra watched as the color of the mixture changed to light blue.

The scientist’s eyes lit up as he walked over to a huge marble table and opened a square machine with complicated buttons.

He poured the solution into the machine, where Kyra saw a pipe-like device.

The machine started beeping, and a smile appeared on his face. "Don’t worry, soon you’ll be able to shift, and I believe our work will yield some good results. After all, my dad used the best DNA samples from superpowered women. Maybe you’ll also awaken some superpowers. She had lightning and healing abilities; I’m guessing you may have similar ones." he muttered as he walked back toward her.

He wiped the small wound where he had inserted the syringe and looked at her intently. "You should go back home before it’s too late. There aren’t many people out roaming at night." he advised.

Kyra nodded in agreement, thanking him before retrieving her purse and waving goodbye.

As she sighed and opened the car door, she lowered her head momentarily, retrieving a water bottle from the compartment to take a sip.

Glancing at herself in the rearview mirror, she adjusted her hair and started the engine, maneuvering her car out of the parking lot.

Her house was about half an hour away from the lab. Her soft hands gripped the steering wheel as she navigated the familiar streets.

Suddenly, her car stopped abruptly.

She tried to restart it, but the engine remained silent.

She opened the door of her car and began checking under the hood, hoping to diagnose the issue.

*Sigh*

After a futile attempt to fix the car, she locked it and grabbed her purse, resigning herself to the fact that finding a mechanic at this hour was unlikely, given the current restrictions on nighttime movement.

She knew she had a long walk ahead of her as she set off on foot.

Her red dress swayed gently in the breeze as she walked briskly, the wavy strands of her long red hair bouncing with each step.

The surroundings were dark and eerily quiet, with only the sound of her own footsteps breaking the silence.

She held her bag tightly against her, feeling a sense of unease growing as she heard rustling in the grass nearby.

Her heart rate quickened, and sweat formed on her forehead as fear began to take hold.

Clenching her fists, she picked up her pace, determined to reach safety as quickly as possible.

Kyra walked quickly in fear, her senses clouded by the darkness of the night. Unbeknownst to her, a large sinkhole lay ahead, concealed by the inky blackness. In her haste, she failed to notice the danger looming in front of her.

As her foot landed on unstable ground, she screamed in terror. Suddenly, she was sucked downward, feeling something strange pulling at her body. Her eyes squeezed shut tightly as she plummeted into water with a forceful splash.

Panic gripped her as she struggled to catch her breath underwater.

Her hair became soaked, weighing her down as she felt heavy rain pelt her face. With desperate strength, she managed to swim towards the shore, gasping for air as she emerged from the water’s grasp still holding her bag.

"Huh huh." Kyra took deep nervously as she lay on the shore, breathing deeply after her ordeal.

Suddenly, a large spider moved towards her face, causing Kyra to scream in fright.

Without hesitation, she jumped up and ran as fast as she could.

The darkness around her seemed to close in, and the sounds of the forest became eerie and unsettling.

Her heart raced with fear as she sprinted through the unfamiliar surroundings, searching desperately for a way out of the eerie forest.

When she saw cave she quickly ran inside, she saw there is no one, she quickly leaned against cave wall as she hugged her knees as she looked falling rain outside.

When Kyra spotted a cave, she sprinted inside, seeking refuge from the terrifying night. Upon entering, she scanned the interior and found it empty.

Breathing heavily, she quickly moved to lean against the cave wall, hugging her knees close to her chest.

From her vantage point, she watched the rain pour heavily outside, thankful for the temporary shelter the cave provided.
