One of the male approached Kyra, his eyes warm and gentle. "Half of the male’s will stay here to protect our supplies, while the other half will head to the castle. We’ve prepared dinner, and we should all eat together." he said kindly.
"Thanks! That sounds wonderful." Kyra replied with a smile, holding both of her husbands’ hands.
Everyone gathered for dinner, enjoying the food while chatting and laughing.
Kyra, Lucas, and Vincent sat together, discussing their plans for the next day.
As the sky began to darken, they decided it was time to leave.
When it was time to say goodbye, Kyra turned to the group of males and said, "Be careful at night; there might be wild beasts roaming around."
One of the male shouted back, "Don’t worry, the wild beasts people talk about are actually us! Be careful yourself!" Kyra laughed, covering her face with her hands.
Her laughter made the males start whistling. But their fun was cut short when Vincent and Lucas shouted together,
"Enough!" They looked at each other, and then Vincent added,
"Stop flirting with my female," his eyes dark and intense, scaring the males into silence.
"Okay, boss!" one of them muttered.
Kyra quickly grabbed her two jealous husbands and led them away. "Let’s go," she urged.
Lucas waved at the group, transforming into his wolf form.
Kyra climbed onto his back, hugging his neck as he started running.
With her head resting on Lucas’s back, she looked at a large snake slithering beside them. 𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒑𝒖𝒃.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Vincent’s eyes glowing in the dark like those of a predator.
Finally, they reached the wolf tribe, who already knew them, so they were welcomed inside. Once they got home, they felt so tired, but it was good that all the snakes had already prepared food for them.
"We should sleep in capsules. It should be more comfortable than trying to fit in a small bed." Kyra said, and they all nodded in agreement.
Kyra turned on her capsule and chose a new theme: ’Vintage Cottage.’
"Another wonderful house of Kyra." Lucas muttered as he looked around.
Windows cast a soft, golden light into the vintage-themed capsule.
In the living room, a velvet sofa faced a beautiful fireplace, with bookshelves full of classic novels nearby.
The bedroom had a lace-curtained bed and an old vanity, creating a peaceful feel.
The bathroom, with its clawfoot tub and brass fixtures, felt luxurious.
The home theater, with red velvet seats and an old projector, was perfect for watching classic movies.
The kitchen, with retro dishware and a farmhouse sink, looked aesthetic in every detail.
"You guys must be tired after a long day. Let’s watch some movies," Kyra said.
Vincent’s cold eyes inspected everything, while Lucas happily followed her, too excited to watch movies.
"Which one do you want to watch?" Kyra asked as she turned on the TV.
It was offline, with movies that came pre-downloaded with the capsule.
After updating the capsule, new movies should be added, or you can also add your own.
"Alpha Ken!" Lucas said hurriedly, running toward the screen when he saw the poster of his idol, Ken. He poked his fingers at the poster and looked back at Kyra with his wet, blue, and innocent eyes.
Kyra’s heart melted. "We will watch it later, but I want to show you something new. Right? You want to see something similar, don’t you?" Kyra said, and Lucas nodded his head.
They sat on the seats together, turning off the lights, with Vincent on her left side and Lucas on her right.
Kyra browsed all the movies. She had only watched a few famous ones, so she randomly selected one with a dark royal poster titled ’King Exclusive Beauty.’
She hadn’t watched it before. As the movie started, she noticed it was set in the medieval period.
Vincent was startled as he looked at the lifelike images. He didn’t know such things existed.
He glanced at her profile, which was illuminated by the flashing lights from the screen.
Vincent’s hands tightened as he looked at Kyra. ’If others know about her secret, Kyra will be in danger. I need to protect her’ he thought, gripping her hand over her lap. Kyra, startled, looked at him.
She smiled, her eyes shimmering like they contained stars.
Then she turned back to the screen, starting to play with his big fingers with her small hands. Seeing this, Lucas also held out his hand for her to play with.
The movie was about a simple woman named Stella who fell in love with King Arthur. It was a sad love story that began when Stella entered the king’s harem. Her simplicity quickly caught King Arthur’s attention, making her the target of jealousy from the other concubines. They tried to harm her in various ways, but her grace and poise only made her more favored by the king.
Vincent and Lucas were shocked. "Males can also have harems?" Lucas asked, wide-eyed.
"Nope. In my world, a female can only have one male. This was ancient times in our world when kings ruled the lands," Kyra explained.
"How could a female be so jealous that she tried to kill an unborn cub?" Lucas said angrily, glaring at the vicious concubine on the screen, who was smiling evilly.
"And why was that king such a fool to believe that Stella’s child wasn’t his when he spent nights daily in her bed?" Lucas said, slapping his hands on the seat in frustration.
Kyra and Vincent exchanged glances. They didn’t feel as strongly about the movie, but Lucas was on the edge of his seat, his claws ready to rip off King Arthur, who was now using another female to make Stella jealous.
The ending was tragic. Stella died in a cold palace, and King Arthur, who finally learned the truth, was filled with regret. In her memory, he decided to take more simple women into his harem, hoping to find solace.
He even built a garden near the mountain for her memory, which became a famous place for lovers.
The movie ended with King Arthur trying to treat his wife and concubines with more care, but it was too late for Stella.
As the credits rolled, the room was silent.
