Chapter 129: Chapter 129 Kyra love for Vinecnt

"Even if I die, I’ll take you down with me," Vincent said coldly, launching an attack on Mison’s neck. Mison, startled, reacted swiftly, using his sharp claws to stab Vincent in the stomach. Blood instantly covered Vincent’s body.

"Vincent!" A familiar voice echoed through the chaos. Vincent turned his head and saw Kyra standing there, her wide eyes locked onto his bleeding form.

Mison followed Vincent’s gaze and was equally shocked.

This female was even more beautiful than Alice.

Her long red hair framed her face, her hazel-blue eyes shone like watery dreams, and her fair skin seemed to glow. Her figure was mesmerizing. Mison couldn’t help but drool at the sight of her.

He made a decision right then—he would pursue this enchanting female.

Forget Alice; Kyra was the one he wanted now. But first, he had to kill Vincent.

Mison, eyes filled with newfound determination, signaled to his panther companions to attack Vincent. As they closed in, Mison stabbed Vincent again, this time targeting a sensitive part of his stomach. Vincent coughed up blood, his eyes still on Kyra.

Kyra covered her mouth, her eyes flaring with anger. Suddenly, she shifted into her Frostlyn form, her eyes turning a dark blue as she lost control.

With a feral leap, Kyra lunged towards Mison, pulling him off Vincent’s wounded body, pressing his face into the ground with her powerful paws, her sharp eyes locked onto his.

Mison’s eyes widened in fear as Kyra bit into his neck. He growled and shook her off, his voice trembling. "Let’s run," he commanded in panther language.

The panthers scattered, but Kyra was relentless. She chased them, catching one of the males and biting him viciously.

Her mouth was bloody as she watched the remaining panthers flee.

But then, her eyes turned blank. Had she killed someone? The realization hit her hard. She had taken a life. But they deserved it; they had attacked her Vinecnt.

Kyra ran back to Vincent, who was clutching his stomach in his human form. She approached him, gently moving his hands away with her paws.

He looked at her with complicated emotions as her small, furry head began to lick his wounds.

A miracle happened-his deep wounds started to heal rapidly. Vincent, no matter how calm he tried to be, couldn’t hide his shock.

She really had the healing powers she had told them about.

After cleaning his wounds, Kyra looked at him sadly and turned to leave. She sensed he needed time alone, especially since he hadn’t spoken a word to her when she arrived.

As he watched her walk away, a sudden pang of loss gripped Vincent’s heart. In that moment, he cared little for his body, which was still dripping with blood.. With a desperate pull, he drew her close, embracing her in her beastly form. Kneeling before her, he gently cupped her furry face, his eyes meeting hers, damp with sadness.

A heaviness settled in Vincent’s chest. He had been bestowed the divine duty by the Beastgod to protect her, yet here she was, shielding him instead.

His hands, too, stained with blood, trembled slightly as he held her.

Kyra shifted back to her human form, taking deep breaths to calm herself. Vincent leaned his forehead against hers, his bloodied hands leaving faint blood marks on her cheeks.

His breathing grew labored as he allowed her to sit on his knees, his gaze intense and dark as he looked at her naked body.

"I’m sorry, Rainbow..." he whispered hoarsely, enfolding her in a tight embrace. His bloodstained chest pressed against hers, their bodies entwined in a poignant embrace.

"I’m sorry." he repeated softly, his thumb brushing away tears that welled in her eyes. He closed his own eyes briefly, a solitary tear escaping, unwilling to reveal his vulnerability as her protector.

"Say something, Rainbow.." he pleaded anxiously, searching her eyes for a sign, any sign of what she was feeling.

"I thought you were tired of me," Kyra whispered, her voice tinged with sadness as tears streamed down her cheeks like shattered pearls. She lowered her head, unable to meet his gaze, overwhelmed with emotion.

Vincent’s heart clenched at the sight of her tears, each one a painful reminder of his own impulsive words and reckless actions.

He wanted to punish himself, to slap away his foolishness, to erase the hurt he had caused her.

But Kyra loved him still. Despite everything, she hadn’t fled from the danger of the panther, but had fought fiercely to protect him.

Guilt gnawed at him for doubting her, for not seeing her love and strength.

"You shouldn’t doubt yourself," Kyra murmured softly, her voice gentle yet firm as she lifted his chin to meet her gaze. "You’re not ugly. Your dark scales, they make you powerful, strong, masculine." She kissed his forehead tenderly, her touch soothing his turbulent thoughts.

"And Lucas," she continued, her voice filled with sincerity, "he’s my first love, yes, but he’s different. You’re different. He’s like an angel to me in his own playful way, but you’re my dangerous, cold, sharp mate who protects me from every danger."

She looked deeply into his eyes, her own shimmering with love and reassurance. "Nobody’s perfect. You don’t need to be. And not being able to cook, that’s just a skill. It doesn’t define you. What matters is who you are, and I love you for all that you are." Her voice grew more fervent with each declaration. "I love you. I love you. I love you.." she repeated, her lips meeting his in a tender, affirming kiss.

Vincent’s heart melted into a puddle of sweetness as he held Kyra close, his dark eyes gazing into hers with deep affection. "Any other female would have abandoned me for my impulsive nature," he confessed softly. "But I’m grateful I found you, Kyra. I love you too." He gently kissed her again, his lips conveying the depth of his emotions.

Meanwhile, Lucas, who had come searching with some men, widened his eyes sharply when he noticed Kyra’s nakedness. "Everyone, go back. I’ve found them," he hurriedly instructed, urgency in his voice, swiftly moving to shield them from onlookers.
