Chapter 145: Chapter 145 Lost

"Who are you?" Lucas shouted, rushing towards Ivy and almost squeezing her neck. Ivy’s eyes widened in fear; she wanted to disappear, but her power was out of control, draining from her body.

"You—you, let me go!" Ivy shouted, struggling as every Beastman surrounded her, sensing something suspicious about this female.

"Where is Kyra?" Lucas demanded coldly. Ivy started choking, trying to breathe and use her powers, but everything seemed useless.

"I-I..." Ivy tried to speak, but suddenly, Lucas threw her to the ground. She coughed up blood.

Ivy lay on the ground, coughing and struggling to catch her breath. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth, her eyes wide with fear and pain. The Beastmen surrounded her, their expressions a mix of suspicion and anger.

Lucas didn’t answer immediately. He stared down at Ivy, his eyes cold and unfeeling. "Speak," he commanded, but Ivy could barely muster the strength to respond.

Vincent watched the scene unfold, his face a mask of calmness, but his hands betrayed his inner turmoil as blood dripped from his palms. He turned to Kyle, who was holding little Toma tightly. 𝘯𝑜𝘷𝘱𝘶𝘣.𝘤𝘰𝑚

"Kyle, make sure all guests are shown to their rooms." Vincent instructed. Kyle nodded, trying to maintain his composure for Toma’s sake.

Gina stepped forward, her eyes filled with worry as she took Toma from Kyle’s arms. "I’ll take care of him," she said softly, holding the boy close. Toma buried his face in her shoulder, his small body trembling with fear.

Nathan’s face was contorted with rage as he looked at ivy, his voice trembling. "What did you do to Sally?" he demanded again, his fists clenched tightly. As he ran toward tree where he saw her body weekly leaned against tree.

As guests began to disperse, murmuring among themselves, Nathan approached Sally, who was leaning against the tree, her eyes closed.

He saw Sally’s body weakly leaned against the rough bark, her usually bright face pale and lifeless.

"Sally!" he called out, desperation lacing his voice. He skidded to a stop beside her, his hands gently cupping her face. Her skin was cold to the touch, and her eyes remained closed.

"Sally, can you hear me?" Nathan whispered, his voice trembling. Tears welled up in his eyes as he scanned her for any signs of life.

Her other mates also tried to wake her up, surrounding her with worried expressions.

Amos, who had been participating in the celebration, quickly sensed the situation and rushed to get his medical kit. He arrived swiftly, his kit in hand.

"Let me see her." Amos instructed, kneeling beside Sally. He placed his fingers on her wrist, checking for a pulse. His face was a mask of concentration as he examined her.

"She’s weak, but she’s alive," Amos said, relief evident in his voice. "We need to get her to the tribe hospital immediately."

Nathan nodded, his relief turning into determination. He carefully lifted Sally into his arms, cradling her gently. "I’ll carry her." he said, his voice steady.

As he carried Sally toward the hospital, Vincent watched, his expression unreadable. He turned his attention back to Ivy, who lay on the ground, struggling to sit up.

Lucas crouched down, his face close to Ivy’s. "Where is Kyra?" he repeated, his voice a dangerous whisper.

Ivy’s eyes fluttered as she tried to focus. "I...I don’t know," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Please, I don’t know where she is."

Lucas stood up abruptly, his frustration evident. "She’s lying," he said, his voice hard. "She knows something."

"What’s this?" Vincent asked as he picked up her broken bracelet, the same one she had used to open a portal.

Vincent and Lucas’s suits were already broken and discarded somewhere, leaving them in their original fur clothes. Vincent’s hands oozed blood as he held the bracelet.

His forked tongue hissed at her, its voice a sinister whisper. "My poison is known as the most deadly toxin," it said. "If you don’t tell me where Kyra is, I don’t mind giving you a slow death with my poison." Vincent hissed, his voice low and cold.

"I-I...this br-acelet was a portal that only opened once...and after that, it was us-eless... And I threw the bitch down the most dangerous place. Hahahah... Sadly, I don’t know where she is now, but I am sure she ended up somewhere very, very dangerous." Ivy laughed, but her laughter died down when Lucas suddenly scratched her face.

"Good job, Wolf," Vincent said. "Guards, take this female to the torture room and keep an eye on her."

He called his trusted two Viper Snake guards, who nodded at him and took Ivy away. Vincent had built a torture room without telling Kyra, believing that his beautiful mate didn’t need to know about such dirty things.

After everyone left, Vincent suddenly punched Lucas in the face. "You should have stayed with Kyra! You know how dangerous it was to leave her alone." Vincent said, anger boiling in his voice.

Lucas didn’t say anything. He felt the same guilt gnawing at him. If he hadn’t left to get food, none of this would have happened.

Vincent roughly rubbed his face, spreading the blood across his skin. "Thank God I gave her that necklace. We can find her with that." he said.

Lucas’s eyes brightened with hope as he looked at Vincent. "Really? We can track her with the necklace?" he asked eagerly touching his own necklace.

Vincent nodded. "Yes, it has a tracking spritual necklace. We just need to activate it, and we’ll find her location. We need to act quickly, though. The longer she’s out there, the more danger she’s in."

Although they could find her through their mate bond, it only worked if they were nearby. Vincent was glad he had given her that necklace.

He quickly held the necklace with his bloody hands and closed his eyes, focusing his energy. However, suddenly, a frown appeared on his face. He opened his eyes in fear.

"What happened, Vincent? Where is my Ky-ky?" Lucas asked quickly, panic rising in his voice.

"Rainbow... She-she..." Vincent’s voice trailed off, growing softer as he struggled to find the words.
