Chapter 146: Chapter 146 Trapped in Danger

Snowflakes fell gently to the ground, blanketing the landscape. Tall pine trees stretched into the sky, their branches laden with snow. Above, the dark sky shimmered with countless stars, creating a serene and enchanting scene.

Splash—

Crack—

Near a tall pine tree, nestled within the snowy landscape, lay a frozen lake, its surface shimmering with a sheet of ice under the moonlit sky.

"...Help!" Kyra’s voice echoed faintly across the tranquil winter night. She struggled desperately under the icy grip of the lake, her face flushed from the freezing water, and her body shivering uncontrollably as she frantically clawed at the thick ice.

Crack—

With a determined effort, she summoned all her strength, pounding on the ice until it finally gave way. The frozen barrier shattered, sending shards scattering around her, but the shock of the cold water splashed up, stinging her face with its bitter chill.

Gasping for breath, Kyra pulled herself up onto the jagged edge of the broken ice, her fingers numb and her limbs trembling from the icy ordeal.

She lay there for a moment, panting heavily, her eyes scanning the snowy surroundings for any signs of help or shelter in the dark and silent wilderness.

"So cold..." Kyra muttered through chattering teeth. She glanced around, taking deep breaths to steady herself. Her hands were red and numb from the biting cold, her breath forming small clouds in the frosty air.

She scanned the snowy landscape with wide eyes.

The frozen lake shimmered under the moonlight, its surface now broken where she had fought her way out.

Shivering uncontrollably, Kyra wrapped her arms around herself, trying to conserve what little warmth remained in her body.

The tall pine trees stood sentinel-like around her, their branches laden with snow, casting long shadows in the silvery glow of the moon.

Feeling the icy sting on her cheeks and hands, Kyra knew she had to find shelter soon.

Her eyes flashed with a mix of emotions as she remembered the green-haired female. A cold, determined look settled in her eyes.

She didn’t fully understand what had happened, but when she was thrown into the portal, it had awakened her Beast frostlyn nature unexpectedly.

Because of that female, she found herself stranded here, alone in the freezing cold, separated from her husbands.

She missed Lucas.

She missed Vincent.

She missed her little Toma...

And she missed everyone dearly.

Once she returned home and confronted that female, Kyra vowed to assert herself and teach her a lesson she wouldn’t forget.

Uncertain if anyone else was around, as she hadn’t spotted another soul, Kyra focused on finding a safe place to put space capsule.

She needed to change out of her cold, wet clothes and into something warmer.

She felt so cold, but there was nothing around her except pine trees and snow.

She shouldn’t take her capsule anywhere because there’s a risk of being attacked by wild animals.

"Growl..."

"Growl..."

Kyra froze as a loud growl pierced the air. Her eyes locked onto towering two legs, and her heart raced with fear as she glimpsed a large creature with a massive face peering down at her. Its brown fur covered a thin yet powerful body adorned with Long sharp, menacing horns.

Spotting her gaze, the beast chuckled, revealing its yellowed teeth with a sinister grin.

"Growl..." His large paws reached for Kyra, but she instinctively defended herself, shifting in the frostlyn as she bit his hand. Her bite had little effect on him.

As he lifted her closer to his mouth, Kyra’s heart pounded with terror. The beast’s yellow, drooling teeth loomed closer, threateningly. She struggled against his grasp, desperate for any chance to escape his grasp.

Kyra growled, seeing his mouth inching closer. She shut her eyes tightly.

"Rainbow..." She heard Vincent’s voice in her head. "My strong rainbow."

"I love you, Ky-Ky! I am your mega fan!" Lucas’s voice echoed in her mind.

In the blink of an eye, just as she was about to be eaten, Kyra’s eyes flashed with clarity. She remembered her superpowers—why should she be afraid of this wild beast?

With renewed resolve, she concentrated all her might into her hands, summoning a small burst of thunder. She hurled it at the beast’s eyes.

"GROWL..." The beast roared in pain and released her. Kyra fell to the ground, rolling in the snow. Her heartbeat quickened, and despite the cold, her forehead was damp with sweat from fear.

Without wasting a moment, she started running. she dashed through the snow as fast as she could.

However, no matter how fast she ran, the beast behind her was much larger and quicker. With its long legs, it soon recovered and chased after her, its massive feet trying to crush her underfoot.

Kyra’s fur stood on end as she dodged his legs. Her tails swayed wildly with the speed of her running. Her mind went blank; all she could focus on was avoiding the beast’s enormous feet. Fear gripped her, but she kept moving, determined to stay ahead.

"Growl...." Beast growled, it’s was hungry wild beasts, he haven’t found any prey in winter so when he saw Kyra no matter what it’s was determined to catch her.

Kyra glanced behind her, her dilated hazel-blue eyes flashing with fear as she ran as fast as she could. No matter how long she ran, the beast kept trying to catch her.

Distracted, she failed to notice the stones in her path and crashed into them, her body rolling painfully across the ground.

"Ahh..." Tears welled up in her eyes, making the fur around them wet. In that moment, she wanted nothing but her Lucas and Vincent.

Looking up, Kyra saw the beast smirking down at her, reaching to lift her up. Desperate, she took a deep breath and summoned her power once more. Thunder crackled in the air, hurling bolts at the beast. It growled angrily, feeling the sharp pain from her attack.

Kyra tried to run, but horror struck her when pain shot through her legs, making her unable to stand. Her eyes widened in despair, feeling the odds stack against her.
