Chapter 159: Chapter 159 Unexpected kiss

"You need to seduce that male," he replied bluntly.

Kyra’s eyes widened with anger as she pulled him away to a quieter place.

Benjamin lifted his pretty golden eyes, but all he saw was a long red-haired female dragging a familiar blue-haired, muscular man away. The male beside him nudged him, causing him to look away from that direction.

Kyra broke her grip from his wrist and glared at him. "What the heck are you saying? Seduce that male? I will not do such an explicit thing!" she snapped, her eyes blazing with fury.

"Little, at least listen to me," he said, trying to hold her hands.

"NO, AND DON’T CALL ME ’LITTLE THING’!" Kyra shouted angrily. "If you want me to do such a thing, I am leaving." She turned to go.

However, he caught her wrist and forcefully pushed her against a tree. Kyra’s breath quickened, her eyes darkening to an even deeper shade of blue.

"Little thing..." Damon murmured, his grip tightening as he held her hands behind her back.

Kyra twisted her body, struggling to break free. "Let me go, Damon!" she hissed, her voice full of rage. She managed to stomp on his foot, causing him to momentarily loosen his grip. She spun around, her fist connecting with his jaw in a swift punch that sent him staggering backward.

"You don’t get to control me!" she yelled, her body tense and ready for his next move.

Damon wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes narrowing with a dangerous glint. "You have no idea what you’re up against," he growled, charging at her.

He grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him.

"Little thing, don’t attack me. I don’t want to harm you," Damon said, holding her waist, his body pressed tightly against hers.

"No, no! Leave me! I trusted you, but you broke my trust," she said angrily, her eyes darkening with fury.

Kyra struggled fiercely against his hold, her breaths coming in quick, furious bursts. She pushed against his chest with all her strength, but Damon held firm, his grip unyielding.

"Listen to me, little thing," Damon pleaded, his voice strained. "I had no choice."

"You always have a choice," Kyra snapped, her voice trembling with rage. She twisted her body, trying to break free, but he tightened his hold.

"Let me go, Damon!" she demanded, her voice rising in desperation.

"Not until you listen," Damon insisted, his breath hot against her ear.

"I don’t care!" Kyra yelled, finally managing to wrench one hand free. She swung at him, her fist connecting with his jaw again. Damon grunted in pain but didn’t release her.

"Kyra, stop," he said, his voice rough with frustration

"No!" she yelled, struggling against his grip. "Let me go, Damon, or else I will shout for hel—"

Damon’s eyes darkened. Desperate to stop her, he held her head firmly and pressed his rough lips against hers.

Kyra’s eyes widened in shock as his kiss silenced her. For a moment, she was too stunned to react. Then, anger flared within her, and she pushed him away with all her strength.

Breathing heavily, she glared at him. "How dare you!" she spat, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "You can’t just silence me like that!"

Damon took a step back, his face a mix of frustration and regret. "I’m sorry, Kyra," he said, his voice low. "I didn’t know how else to make you stop."

"That’s no excuse," she snapped. "You can’t force me into anything. If you ever try something like that again, you’ll regret it."

Damon looked down, his shoulders sagging. "I know," he said quietly. "I just... I didn’t want you to get hurt."

"Then show it by respecting me," Kyra replied fiercely. "I can take care of myself."

Damon nodded, finally releasing her. "I promise, Kyra. I won’t do it again."

Kyra took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. "Good. Now stay away from me." With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Damon standing there, watching her go with a pained expression.

However, knowing she was angry and not wanting to leave her alone, Damon followed her secretly.

Kyra ran without any thought or direction, her heart pounding. She couldn’t believe what had just happened. She didn’t know why he had told her to seduce that man, but she would never do such a thing.

Her feet finally brought her to a small clearing, where she stopped to catch her breath. Her mind was racing, trying to make sense of everything.

As she leaned against a tree, she heard a rustling behind her. Spinning around, she saw Damon stepping out from the shadows.

"Why are you following me?" she demanded, her voice shaking with a mix of anger and exhaustion.

"I can’t leave you alone like this," Damon replied calmly. "You’re upset and vulnerable. I just want to make sure you’re safe."

"I don’t need your protection," Kyra snapped. "Especially not from you."

Damon took a step closer, his eyes softening. "Little thing, please. Just listen to me for a moment. There’s more at stake here than you realize."

She crossed her arms, still glaring at him. "Then explain. Why do you want me to seduce that male?"

Damon sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I don’t know how to explain it. It’s complicated."

Kyra’s eyes narrowed. "And you couldn’t have explained that without kissing me?"

"I panicked," Damon admitted. "I thought you were going to scream, and I didn’t want to draw attention. It was a mistake, and I’m sorry."

She studied his face, seeing the genuine apology in his eyes. Slowly, she uncrossed her arms. "Okay—"

However, suddenly her mouth was covered by Damon’s hand, and he swiftly pulled her to a hidden spot behind a large rock.

Kyra’s eyes widened in shock and anger as she struggled against him, but Damon held her firmly, whispering urgently in her ear, "Quiet! Someone’s coming."

Holding her breath, Kyra listened and heard the faint sound of footsteps approaching.
