Chapter 160: Chapter 160 Benjamin
Kyra saw the same guy Damon wanted her to seduce, Benjamin, and a female standing near him.
"What the heck! Benjamin, I told you to try and act intimately with me. You’re so stingy," the woman, Sandra, said coldly as she walked closer to Benjamin. Her lips tightened into a line, displeasure clear in her voice. "I shouldn’t have even agreed to mate with you. If you weren’t famous for your invention."
"Stay away," Benjamin said, his voice melodious even as he tried to keep her at a distance. Despite his efforts, his gentle tone seemed to undermine his intent.
"No," Sandra replied, her tone dripping with arrogance. "Although you’re not as powerful as my other mates, you have a pretty face. Let me kiss you and see how it feels." She reached out to touch his cheek, trying to force a kiss pouting her lips.
Benjamin recoiled from her, his eyes filled with disgust as he felt her stink breath on his face. Summoning his strength, he pushed her away, causing her to stumble back.
"You dare!" Sandra screeched, anger flashing in her eyes as she regained her balance. "How dare you push me!"
"Stay away from me, Sandra," Benjamin said firmly, his voice still gentle but laced with resolve. "I won’t let you treat me like this."
Sandra’s eyes narrowed, her face contorting with rage. "You’ll regret this, Benjamin. No one defies me and gets away with it." She turned on her heel and stormed off, leaving Benjamin standing there, his expression a mix of relief and lingering disgust.
He lowered his long white lashes and stood there for a whole minute, taking in Sandra’s words. Then, without a word, he raised his head, his expression hardening. Suddenly, he shifted into a magnificent winged lion and took off, flying away from there as fast as he could.
Damon let go of her mouth and watched the flying lion disappear into the sky. He turned back to Kyra, his expression serious.
"You see that male? His name is Benjamin. He wasn’t even happy being with her. She wants to force him to stay because he’s a famous music instrument inventor and artist," Damon said, his jaw clenched. "I didn’t mean for you to seduce him sexually, but to make him fall in love with you and separate from that female, Sandra."
Kyra’s eyes narrowed. "Who is he to you?" she asked, looking straight into Damon’s eyes. 𝓷ℴ𝓿𝓹𝓾𝓫.𝓬ℴ𝓶
His eyes softened, and he looked away for a moment before speaking. "Once, we were best friends," he said quietly. "If it weren’t for her, we wouldn’t have had such a deep misunderstanding."
"What--" Kyra was stunned as she looked at him.
Damon’s expression remained hard. "I won’t tell you now what happened in the past," he said, his voice firm. "But I hope you can help me."
Kyra looked at him, not answering right away.
Seeing her remain silent, Damon was about to say something, but then she spoke. "Give me some time to think."
He nodded, his eyes studying her face. She seemed deep in thought, her pretty eyes and plump lips catching his attention. He couldn’t help but remember the brief moment when their lips had touched, the softness lingering in his memory.
"Alright," Damon said quietly. "Take all the time you need. Just... consider it."
After Damon took her back home, Kyra remained silent the entire way. He tried to cheer her up by making food, but she stayed quiet, her mind distant. His heart sank at her unresponsiveness.
That night, Kyra didn’t say a word to him. Damon lay beside her, watching her as she fell asleep.
He sighed, his hands on his head, and stared blankly at Kyra as her chest rose and fell with her breathing. The rhythmic motion did little to ease his troubled mind.
Covering his face with his hands, he suddenly recalled a memory, and his expression hardened. No, he had to make Kyra agree. To bring Sandra down, he needed to show her that the male she valued could be taken away without warning.
He wanted to ensure she realized she wasn’t the only one who was special. She had to feel the sting of losing something precious.
Not only that, he was determined to settle the score with her and ensure that he made her days painfully hellish.
Leaning back, he supported his head with his hand as he gazed at Kyra’s face once more.
he couldn’t help but glance at Kyra’s delicate and beautiful face.
’After everything settles, I’ll mate with her.’ he thought, his mind momentarily drifting to a future where things were different.
But for now, his focus had to be on ensuring Benjamin fell in love with Kyra.

Next morning, Kyra ate breakfast quietly while Damon sat across from her, lost in his thoughts.
"Have you thought about it?" Damon finally asked, breaking the silence.
"Yeah," Kyra replied calmly after taking a sip of water. "I will help you, but promise me you’ll start helping me find my mates soon." she added, looking directly at him.
Damon’s heart tightened at her request. "Of course, I will help you," he assured her.
A smile spread across her face. "Then I will do as you say." she replied, her hands tightening as she contemplated the prospect of making an innocent male fall in love with her.
However, if he did fall in love with her, she would take responsibility. But she wasn’t going to share this with Damon.
She quietly finished eating breakfast, thinking hard. Outside, the snow made everything peaceful, but inside, she felt unsure and worried. Damon sat across from her, and she knew she had to go through with her plan. Could she really make someone fall in love with her? It didn’t feel right, but she had to survive in this strange place.
And soon she needed to find her mates, though she didn’t know their condition without her, knowing they must be very worried about her.
"Since you agree, let’s go meet our neighbor now." Damon said suddenly, with a glint in his eyes.
