Chapter 192: Chapter 192 Sister little thing
Using his little body, Meeko hugged Kyra tightly and smacked her cheeks with a loud kiss. "I like you, little thing..." he declared with a big smile.
"Little thing?" Kyra looked at him with wide eyes, puzzled.
"Why are you calling me little thing?" Kyra asked, genuinely curious.
"Because I heard that handsome male call you little thing... little thing," Meeko said innocently, looking at her with wide, earnest eyes.
Kyra sighed. "No, you can’t call me little thing. You can call me sister."
Meeko pouted a little but then nodded. "Okay, Sister little thing."
Kyra: "..."
Damon, who was leaning against the door, burst out laughing. "Sister little thing, huh? That’s a new one!"
Kyra shot him a mock-glare, her cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and amusement. "You’re not helping, Damon."
Damon wiped away a tear from his laughter, still chuckling. "I think it’s adorable. Looks like you’ve got a new title."
Meeko, pleased with himself, hugged Kyra again. "Sister little thing is the best!" he declared, making sure his new nickname stuck.
Kyra couldn’t help but laugh along, shaking her head. "Alright, alright. Just ’sister’ is fine, okay?"
Meeko grinned cheekily. "Okay, Sister little thing!"
Kyra: "..."
Damon grinned widely, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I think it’s perfect. You might as well get used to it."
Kyra sighed dramatically, but there was a smile on her face. "Fine. If it makes you happy, Meeko."
Meeko’s eyes lit up, and he hugged her again, his small arms wrapping around her tightly. He liked this beautiful female!
"Let’s get you washed," Kyra said, smiling at him.
Meeko’s face brightened even more. He liked bathing, and he happily shifted into a small baby eagle. Kyra’s eyes widened in surprise and delight at his cuteness. He was so small, but his feathers were fluffy and red.
He flew around her in small, happy circles before landing on her hands, nuzzling her fingers with his beak. "You’re so cute!" Kyra exclaimed, her heart melting.
"No, he can bathe himself," Damon interjected, eyeing the baby eagle who was now flying around him. "Right, Meeko?" Meeko nodded his furry head in agreement, fluttering around Damon.
"But you and he both don’t know my bathroom features," Kyra said, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. "Trust me, it’s not as simple as you think."
Damon sighed, realizing he couldn’t argue with her. "Fine," he said reluctantly. "But I’ll be right outside. Just in case." n𝚘𝚟pub.𝚌o𝚖
Kyra guided Meeko to the bathroom, which was spacious and modern with sleek fixtures and a large, inviting bathtub. She turned on the warm water, adjusting the temperature until it was just right. As the tub began to fill, she reached for a bottle of bubble bath solution on the shelf.
"This will be fun," she said with a smile, pouring a generous amount of the bubble bath into the stream of water. Instantly, bubbles began to form, spreading quickly across the surface of the water.
Meeko’s eyes widened in wonder as he watched the bubbles grow. He flapped his little wings excitedly, almost bouncing on the spot.
Kyra chuckled at his enthusiasm. "You like bubbles, don’t you?" she asked, giving the water a gentle swirl with her hand to create even more bubbles.
The tub was soon filled with warm, bubbly water. The bubbles were piled high, soft, and fluffy, creating a frothy sea of fun.
"Alright, little guy," Kyra said, lifting Meeko and gently placing him into the tub.
Meeko chirped happily, splashing around and sending bubbles flying everywhere. His feathers fluffed up in the water, making him look even cuter.
"See, isn’t this nice?" Kyra said, laughing softly at his antics.
The little eagle flapped his wings, creating more splashes and bubbles. Kyra couldn’t help but laugh along with him, enjoying the simple, joyful moment.
After a while, when Meeko seemed content and clean, Kyra carefully lifted him out of the tub and wrapped him in a soft towel. She gently dried his feathers, making sure he was warm and comfortable. "There you go, all clean," she said, smiling at him.
Damon waited outside the bathroom, listening to the sounds of splashing and Kyra’s gentle laughter as she bathed Meeko. When they finally emerged, he watched as Kyra guided Meeko to a vanity mirror. She seemed so at ease, so natural in her caretaking.
"Come on, little guy, let’s get you all dry," Kyra said, lifting Meeko onto the chair .
Damon followed them, curious about what she would do next. Kyra picked up a sleek device and turned it on, and a gentle hum filled the room. Meeko started squealing with delight as warm air blew out of the device, ruffling his feathers and drying him off quickly.
Damon’s eyes widened in surprise. He had never seen anything like this before. "What is that?" he asked, stepping closer to get a better look.
Kyra smiled, holding the hair dryer. "It’s a hair dryer. It blows warm air to dry hair or feathers quickly. Handy, isn’t it?"
Damon was stunned. Such advanced technology was unheard of in his world. "Where did you get it?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
Kyra hesitated for a moment before answering. "It was made in my tribe. We have a few clever inventors who come up with things like this."
Damon studied her closely, sensing that she wasn’t telling the whole truth. "Your tribe must be very advanced," he said, his tone neutral.
Kyra’s expression remained calm as she dried Meeko’s hair, the little boy giggling and squirming happily under the warm air. "We have our ways," she replied simply.
Damon watched as she expertly handled the hair dryer, his mind racing with questions. This female, with her mysterious things and her personality fascinated him.
He knew there was more to her story, and he was determined to uncover it.
Once Meeko was dried off, he shifted back into his human form. He still had his original red fur, which was now smooth and fluffy, giving him an adorable, barbarian-like appearance.
