Chapter 221: Chapter 221 Spending time with Lucas

"I think I heard you talking. What were you muttering in there?" Lucas asked as Kyra came out of the bathroom. She didn’t see Damon, assuming he might have gone outside.

"Nothing," Kyra shook her head, smiling as she looked at him.

She heard the voice in her head again. ’Don’t act sad just because Vincent is gone for now. He’ll come back, and you’ll have to wait for him every year like that. Don’t neglect my baby Luca; he needs attention too.’

Kyra realized something as she looked at Lucas. His eyes were filled with sadness, and he looked stressed. She felt a pang in her heart seeing him like that.

"Hey," she said softly, stepping closer to him. "Are you okay?"

Lucas tried to smile but it didn’t reach his eyes. "I’m fine. Just a lot on my mind."

Kyra took his hand gently and said, "I know it’s hard with Vince in hibernation, but we still have each other. I’m here for you, Luca. Always."

Lucas looked at her, his eyes softening a bit. "Thanks, Ky-ky. It’s just... I didn’t realize how much I’d miss him. And seeing you sad makes it harder."

Kyra squeezed his hand. "We’ll get through this together. How about we do something fun today? Just the two of us."

Lucas’s eyes brightened a little. "Yeah, I’d like that."

Kyra smiled, feeling a bit lighter. She knew they had to support each other through this. "Let’s go for a walk, clear our heads."

As they walked out together, Kyra felt the voice in her head smiling, too. It was going to be okay.

Damon wasn’t in the house either, so they decided to walk around. Lucas was definitely enjoying her company. Kyra didn’t look as sad now, focusing on him and smiling, which made his heart flutter.

He felt like blushing hard and thought, ’Lucas, you can’t act shy in front of Ky-Ky. Think about something else, like... anything else...’

Kyra noticed his expression and chuckled. "You look like you’re deep in thought. What’s on your mind?"

Lucas laughed nervously, scratching the back of his head. "Oh, nothing much. Just, uh, enjoying the walk."

Kyra tilted her head, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "You know, you can talk to me about anything, right?"

Lucas nodded, feeling a bit more relaxed. "I know, Ky-ky. It’s just... you’re really good at making me feel better."

Kyra squeezed his hand gently smiling.

Lucas glanced up at a large tree nearby, his eyes lighting up. "Hey, want to climb that tree? I bet we can get a great view from up there."

Kyra looked at the tree and then back at Lucas, smiling. "Sure, let’s do it."

They approached the tree, Lucas reaching out to help Kyra find the best footholds. They climbed higher, the bark rough against their hands, the branches swaying slightly under their weight.

When they reached a sturdy branch high above, they settled in and looked out over the landscape. The view was breathtaking, with the setting sun casting a warm glow over the trees and fields.

Kyra leaned back against the trunk, her eyes scanning the horizon. "It’s beautiful up here," she said softly.

Lucas nodded, his arm instinctively wrapping around her shoulders. "Yeah, it is."

For a moment, everything felt right. The sadness and the worries melted away as they sat together, just enjoying the simplicity of being close.

Lucas leaned over, looking at her face. ’Oh my goodness! My Kyra, she’s grown even prettier. I’m afraid someone will snatch her away.’

"Baby Luca... what are you staring at?" Kyra asked, her eyes becoming a deeper blue. A smile played at the corners of her lips as she looked at Lucas.

Hearing her bold, charming voice, Lucas was startled and backed away, his eyes wide.

"Careful, baby," Kyra said, holding his waist. She leaned closer to his face, her eyes drawn to his ocean-blue eyes and pretty, plump lips. She licked her lips as she gazed at him.

She leaned in more closer to him, feeling his breath on her face. She looked at his face. So handsome. Although she had seen many handsome guys—almost the entire male population seemed handsome—he was so unique, so cute, so lovely.

As her lips touched his, she held his head with her hands. Surprised, Lucas held her waist, losing himself in her. He was shocked. Kyra was usually shy and gentle; seeing her act bold and charming felt different.

However, he lost all his thoughts when she started kissing him roughly. Her soft lips against his, he let her dominate him. It was something new to him.

As he blushed, he remembered scenes from movies. He definitely wasn’t into that Daddy and Baby Doll stuff, but he didn’t mind being Kyra’s baby and her being his mommy. He blushed furiously.

Kyra’s hands wove through his hair, her eyes closing as she savored the moment.

When she opened them again, she saw his hazel-blue, dreamy eyes, filled with the same gentle and soft expression. Her eyes widened when she realized she was kissing Lucas.

She pulled back, startled, but Lucas wasn’t ready to let go. Dissatisfied, he bit her pink, plump lower lip.

"Luca!" Kyra glared at him angrily.

"Sorry, sorry, Ky-ky," he said quickly, leaning over and licking her lips. His innocent ocean-blue eyes looked up at her, full of apology.

Kyra rolled her eyes but couldn’t help but smile as she hugged him. "Okay, you know how to use your cuteness against anyone. Even Vincent, who used to dislike you, started liking you..."

"Hehehe! Lucas magic tricks," Lucas said happily as he broke the hug and grinned at her.

"Yeah, yeah, magic tricks," Kyra said, ruffling his hair affectionately. "Just try not to use them too often, okay?"

Lucas laughed, the sound light and carefree. "No promises, Ky-ky. No promises."

Kyra giggled, resting her head on his shoulder as she took in the view.

"Let’s go..." she said softly.

Lucas nodded and climbed down the tree. From below, he called up with a playful grin, "Ky-ky, jump on me!"
