Chapter 227: Chapter 227 How to use healing ability
Kyra reached out, gently placing her hand on his arm, offering silent support.
"That day," Lucas said, his voice a bit shakier, "something inside me just snapped. I couldn’t let them hurt us anymore. I pushed myself harder than I ever had before, fighting with everything I had left. And that’s when I advanced to Rank 5. But... it came at a cost. Seeing Vince like that... it’s something I’ll never forget. I-I almost lost him..."
Without hesitation, Kyra wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a comforting hug.
’Oh my hottie Vince! He was so pitiful,’ her beast commented inside her head, making Kyra nod slightly, agreeing with the sadness in its voice.
"You’re the strongest, Luca," Kyra whispered, her voice full of warmth and pride. "I am so proud of you." She leaned in and kissed his cheek softly, then took a deep breath, soaking in his comforting scent.
From upstairs, Damon stood silently, watching Kyra and Lucas on the sofa. His eyes darkened, filled with murderous intent as he observed the closeness between them. His hands clenched into fists, the air around him growing colder with his rising anger.
As if sensing Damon’s gaze, Lucas raised his head, meeting Damon’s furious stare. Instead of backing down, Lucas flashed a cheeky wink, a smirk playing on his lips. It was a clear, silent challenge, daring Damon to make his move.
Damon’s jaw tightened, his aura radiating with barely controlled rage, but he held back, knowing that the real battle was yet to come.
Damon stormed into his room, his footsteps echoing with anger. Veins bulged on his forehead as he struggled to keep his emotions in check. He took a deep breath, but it did little to calm the fury that roiled inside him. His sharp facial features, usually so composed, now looked even more dangerous, like a storm brewing just beneath the surface.
His mind raced with thoughts of Lucas, that irritating wolf who dared to challenge him. Damon’s fists clenched at his sides as he tried to focus, knowing he couldn’t lose control now. Tomorrow would be the day he would show them both who truly deserved Kyra’s love
After cuddling with his Ky Ky, Lucas washed the dishes after boiling water while Kyra sat on the sofa with her legs folded, eyes closed.
Her beast was whispering to her, teaching her how to use her healing power.
"To use your healing ability fully, you need to connect deeply with the essence of life around you," her beast instructed. "But first, your healing power is dormant, only a fraction of its true potential. To awaken it, you must draw energy from the elements that surround you—the earth, water, fire, and air. Each element feeds a different aspect of your healing."
Kyra frowned, trying to understand what this meant. "How do I connect with them?"
"You must perform a ritual of attunement," her beast explained. "Start by sitting on the ground, as close to nature as possible. Feel the earth beneath you, the air around you, the warmth of fire, and the flow of water. You must breathe them in, let their energy seep into your bones. But that’s just the beginning. To truly awaken your power, you’ll need to sacrifice something of yourself."
"Like what?" Kyra asked, her brow furrowed in concentration.
"Your emotions," the beast replied. "Each time you heal, you’ll need to pour your feelings into it. The deeper the emotion, the stronger the healing. But be careful, using too much at once could drain you completely. It’s a delicate balance. Think of it like weaving a tapestry, each thread a piece of your heart."
Kyra nodded slowly, her mind spinning with the complexity of it all. It wasn’t just about wanting to heal—it was about giving a part of herself each time. The idea both fascinated and terrified her.
"Start small," the beast advised. "Try using the earth first. Make a wound in your hand, a small one, and close Your eyes Feel the energy of the earth rising through you, into your hand, and then into the wound. Don’t just picture it healing—feel the earth knitting the flesh back together. But remember, the energy will only respond if your emotions are pure and focused. You can’t be distracted, not even a little."
Kyra’s eyes flashed with amazement as she finally understood how she had been able to heal Damon and Vincent—it was her strong emotions, her deep need to save them, that had unlocked her power. Curious to test it further, she bit her finger, just enough to create a small wound that barely bled.
Then, she stood up from the sofa and sat on the ground in the lotus position.
Closing her eyes, she tried to concentrate. But it wasn’t as simple as it sounded. Her mind was a chaotic whirlpool of thoughts, making it difficult to focus.
She took a deep breath, slowly inhaling and exhaling to calm her racing mind.
"Breathe in... Breathe out..."
As she repeated this, she began to imagine and sense the world around her.
She imagined the earth beneath her feet, the cool breeze on her skin, the distant sound of water flowing, and the faint warmth of the sun even through the cold.
She imagined these elements wrapping around her, connecting her to something ancient and powerful.
"I can feel nature around me," she whispered to herself. "I can feel Mother Earth, the snow, the water, the wind... everything."
She concentrated harder, trying to draw the energy from the earth, as her beast had instructed. It was like trying to pull a thread from a tightly woven cloth—difficult, but not impossible. She could feel a faint pulse of energy beginning to flow into her, slow and steady.
With each breath, she focused on channeling this energy into her small wound. It wasn’t just about visualizing the healing—she had to feel the earth knitting the skin back together, sense the life force flowing from the ground and through her.
Her heart beat faster as she concentrated, feeling her connection to the world deepen.
