Chapter 281: Chapter 281 Main land of ghost eye group

Without another word, the priest stood up and walked toward a shelf at the far end of the room. From it, he carefully pulled out a small shell. It was gray, smooth, and simple in design. Felix brought it to his lips and blew softly into the shell. The sound that came was low and pleasent calming, vibrating through the air.

Moments passed in silence, thick with anticipation.

Suddenly, a deep, almost amused voice echoed through the room. "Hmm... Someone missed my free, kind service."

In the same castle where Benjamin was staying with Sandra, Kyra had been placed in a room beside his. Joy, who had been asked to clean the room, was now sitting quietly nearby. Kyra lay on a simple bed, her breathing steady and her face serene, as if she were in a peaceful dream.

Joy couldn’t help but feel a flutter of warmth in his chest as he gazed at her. His freckled cheeks flushed slightly, a soft pink tint spreading across them. His brown eyes sparkled with admiration as he took in the sight of Kyra’s long red hair, which flowed around her like a cascade of fire.

He marveled at her side profile, noting the delicate curve of her nose and the gentle line of her jaw. Her lips, soft and slightly parted, seemed inviting, and her long eyelashes cast shadows on her cheeks, adding to her ethereal beauty.

Joy had never seen anyone quite like her. She looked so beautiful, so gergeous, it was as if he was seeing beauty for the first time. His growing smile betrayed his feelings, spreading wider as he continued to watch her.

"MOVE," Benjamin said coldly as he entered the room. Joy hesitated, reluctant to leave, but he bit his lip and stepped aside. His eyes lingered on Kyra as he reluctantly moved out of the way.

"Get out," Benjamin repeated, his gaze fixed on Kyra’s face. Joy quickly exited the room, casting one last glance back before closing the door behind him.

Benjamin approached Kyra and leaned over to get a closer look. His eyes traced her features with a mixture of interest and admiration. Her beauty was undeniable, her face gergeous and delicate. He compared her to Sandra, whose presence he found repulsive in contrast.

Kyra, he thought, was far more attractive—both in appearance and in the grace she exuded. As he studied her, a sense of satisfaction grew within him.

Benjamin’s long fingers, adept at the delicate art of playing the piano, traced gently over Kyra’s forehead, moving down to her nose, and finally to her lips. His thumb brushed lightly against her soft lips.

His eyes softened with a mix of satisfaction and curiosity. "What does Damon have that I don’t?" he thought, feeling a strange comfort in the idea of possessing her. The thought of making Damon jealous and claiming Kyra for himself brought him a twisted sense of pleasure.

Benjamin leaned back slightly, savoring the feeling of having someone as beautiful as Kyra under his gaze. The idea of making Damon envious and having Kyra for himself was oddly satisfying.

Benjamin leaned in, his lips just inches from Kyra’s as he prepared to kiss her. Suddenly, Kyra’s eyes flew open, and a look of disgust crossed her face. With a powerful kick, she sent him crashing down from the bed.

"How dare you!" Kyra shouted, her voice full of fury. She quickly jumped on him, grabbing his white fur clothing, and glared at him intensely. As she took in her surroundings, she demanded, "Where am I? Where are Damon and Lucas?"

"Calm down, sweetcheeks!" Benjamin replied with a sickly-sweet tone, as though her anger didn’t faze him at all.

"Calm my foot!" Kyra retorted, her voice trembling with worry. She was deeply concerned about Damon and Lucas. The last time she saw Lucas, his face had been pale and weak. She was anxious about their safety, especially Damon, who must be panicking. And Vincent, who had just gone into hibernation—she didn’t want to worry him again.

"Oh! You’re at my place, sweet cheeks! We’re in the land of the Ghost Eye Group’s main territory. And don’t even try to escape, sweetheart, because your powers are useless here. Plus, there are plenty of ghosts trying to catch you, so you’d better behave nicely with me. You’re only safe with me," Benjamin said, letting Kyra sit on him. He raised his hand behind his head, his pretty golden eyes sparkling with a mix of arrogance and amusement.

Kyra stood up from Benjamin, her face filled with determination. She dashed towards the window and threw it open. Outside, a foggy landscape stretched out, dotted with towering mountains. Her heart raced as she saw shadows moving aimlessly and monstrous creatures with horns flying toward her. Panicking, she quickly shut the window and turned to face Benjamin, who was smiling at her with an unsettling calm.

She felt a surge of disgust as she looked at him. Her lips pressed into a tight line, and her eyes blazed with anger. She stormed up to Benjamin and grabbed him by the neck, squeezing tightly.

"So it’s you... It’s you who was trying to harm me and Damon all along, isn’t it? And Silver Peak Mountain was just a way to get to the Ghost Eye Group, right?" Kyra demanded, her voice filled with fury.

Benjamin’s smile remained, but his eyes grew cold. He chuckled softly, seemingly unfazed by Kyra’s anger and the tight grip she had on his neck. "You’re quite perceptive, aren’t you?" he said with a mocking tone. "Yes, it’s true. Silver Peak Mountain was just a part of the plan to get you here."

Kyra’s grip tightened, her knuckles turning white. "Why? Why go through all this trouble? What do you want from us?"

Benjamin leaned back, forcing Kyra to follow his motion. "It’s not about what I want from you, sweet cheeks. It’s more about what I want from Damon. You see, there’s a lot more at stake here than you realize. The Ghost Eye Group has plans, and you and your mates are just pawns in a much larger game."
