Chapter 311: Chapter 311 Begining of Heating days+ Vincent returns
Damon’s eyes lingered on Kyra’s lips, and he spoke softly, his tone firm yet caring. "We should go back to the room."
Kyra nodded, though her gaze shifted toward the kitchen where Lucas was. "Sure, you go ahead. I’ll come shortly after helping Lucas clean up," she said, starting to walk away.
But Damon quickly caught her wrist, his grip gentle but insistent. "No... you’re pregnant," he reminded her, his concern evident in his voice. "You need to rest." Without waiting for her protest, he gently tugged her towards their room.
As soon as they stepped inside, Damon closed the door behind them, but didn’t bother locking it.
"I missed you, little thing," Damon murmured, his voice deep and filled with warmth as he watched Kyra walk toward the bed. She sat down, wincing slightly as she rubbed her feet, feeling a mild ache.
Damon moved closer, sitting beside her. Without a word, he gently lifted her small foot into his hands.
"Damon," Kyra gasped, her eyes widening in surprise. "You don’t have to do that—I was just feeling a little bit of pain. It’s nothing serious."
"Shh... let me take care of you," he whispered, his tone soothing as he began to rub her foot gently. His touch was firm yet tender, his thumbs pressing into the sore muscles in slow, comforting circles.
Kyra let out a soft sound, nearly a moan, as she felt the immediate relief spreading through her feet. His hands were large and warm, the heat seeping into her aching muscles and melting the discomfort away. The sensation was soothing, and she couldn’t help but relax under his careful touch, feeling her stress slowly dissolve.
Damon’s eyes darkened with desire as he gazed at Kyra. His focus drifted to her lips, and a deep longing to taste them again surged through him.
"Little thing..." he whispered, setting her foot down gently before inching closer. Kyra’s breath caught in her throat as his gorgeous face came near, the intensity of his gaze making her heart race. She barely had time to react before his hand cupped the back of her head, pulling her into a passionate kiss.
Damon’s lips claimed hers with a fierce hunger, sucking and licking, savoring every moment as if he were starved for her. His mouth moved expertly, teasing and biting gently as his tongue explored her lips, not missing a single corner. The kiss was hot and demanding, filled with all the unspoken emotions he had bottled up. Kyra’s senses were overwhelmed by the taste of him, the warmth of his body so close, and the way his touch sent shivers down her spine.
Damon’s hands moved to her waist, his fingers tracing slow, teasing circles that sent a warm rush through Kyra’s body. She leaned into him, kissing back eagerly, matching his passion. She liked him—his touch, his closeness—it all felt right.
But their moment was interrupted when Lucas walked in, his eyes widening in surprise before settling into a playful yet serious expression. "Hey, don’t do such things!" Lucas scolded, striding over with grin. "You know the baby learns everything from your thoughts and actions in your stomach."
Damon reluctantly pulled away, breaking the kiss. His lips were wet and swollen from their heated moment, but he didn’t seem bothered. Instead, he smirked and licked his lips, savoring the taste of Kyra. She looked flustered, her cheeks a bright pink and her lips red and plump from their kiss. Her slightly damp hair clung to her face, adding to her disheveled, beautiful appearance.
"Let’s rest again," Lucas suggested, a playful gleam in his eyes. "And I want you to cuddle with me, Ky-Ky."
Kyra chuckled softly, feeling a warm comfort at his request. "Of course, we will. But I forgot to ask—where are we? And whose house is this?"
Lucas leaned back, his expression relaxed. "We’re in Cloud City, part of Eldoria in the Eagle Kingdom. Remember Meeko? His dad, Alessandro, is the leader of this city."
Kyra’s eyes widened in surprise, her excitement bubbling up. "Meeko? You said Meeko?"
Lucas nodded, amused at her enthusiasm. "Yeah, Meeko. He’s here, and once you’re feeling better, we’ll visit him soon."
Kyra’s face lit up with joy, the thought of seeing her little friend again adding a spark of excitement to her tried heart.

The sun had risen in Celestia, shining brightly over the landscape. Its warm rays kissed the snow, causing it to melt slowly, though patches of white remained scattered across the ground like remnants of a winter that refused to fully retreat.
Celestia’s climate was unique—six months of cold, snowy weather followed by six months of a more temperate environment. Despite the seasonal changes, this place never experienced the scorching heat of summer, thanks to its distant position from the sun.
Heating days.
It was a challenging time for many creatures, especially those that had spent the colder months in hiding or hibernation. As the scorching sun rose high, rivers began to dry, and the lush forests turned brittle and brown under the relentless heat.
For beasts with thick, double-coated fur, the heating days were particularly unbearable. The heat seeped through their dense layers, causing discomfort and intense itching. Many struggled to find relief, constantly searching for shade or water to cool off.
Snakes, too, faced difficulties. Their cold-blooded nature made them vulnerable to extreme temperatures, so they sought refuge in the cool depths of rivers or oceans, escaping the searing heat that threatened their survival.
As the heating days began, it was time for the snakes to wake up from their long sleep—and Vincent was one of them.
The dark snake, hidden deep in his underground nest, His eyes snapped open, revealing a pair of intense, blood-red orbs that glowed in the dim light.
Next to him was the layer of his old skin, shed while he was asleep.
Vincent’s calm face quickly turned dangerous as he looked around. With a quick, powerful movement, his dark body coiled and uncoiled, muscles flexing under his shiny scales. Without hesitation, the black, dangerous snake tore through the earth above, ripping out of the ground, tearing through the dirt.
